No full textWe demonstrate the feasibility of 10.7 Gb/s error-free (BER < 10-12) optical transmission on distances up to 2 km using a recently developed ultra-low-voltage commercial Electro-Optic Modulator (EOM) that is driven by 0.6 Vpp and with an optical input power of 1 mW. Given this low voltage operation, the modulator could be driven directly from the detectors’ board signals without the need of any further amplification reducing significantly the power dissipation and the material budget

This species is similar to the brachypterous form of B. salutis because of its reduced length, rostral prong with similar length of the third rostral segment, originating on the proximal region of this segment (Fig. 30, 69), and the stridulatory area of the fore femur being absent (Fig. 31, 70). These species are differentiated by the characteristics that make B. konta a species apart from the salutis - group: the vertex strongly prominent before the eyes and synthilipsis not conspicuously narrow (about one-fourth of anterior width of vertex). Besides this, B. konta the tylus is not inflated, but rounded; the apex of the rostral prong is rounded, and subequal to the third rostral segment (Fig. 30); a dark stain accompanying the costal margin of the hemelytra delimits the start of the membrane; the fore femur has a broad apex; the apical teeth of the stridulatory comb of the fore tibia is larger than the basal one (Fig. 31); the left paramere has a hook more robust and the right paramere is narrower than in the second species (Fig. 32). Buenoa salutis has synthlipsis with about one-tenth of vertex width; tylus flat; the apex of the rostral prong sinuous, with equal or greater length than the third rostral segment (Fig. 69); the dark stain at the costal margin of the hemelytra absent; the fore femur has a narrow apex; the stridulatory teeth of the fore tibia is of similar size (Fig. 70); the left paramere has a longer and narrower hook and the right paramere is broader than in B. konta (Fig. 71). Penelitian ini tentang Penggunaan Media Audio Visual dalam Mengatasi
kesulitan siswa menulis karangan puisi diKelas X SMA Negeri 001 Tanjung
balai karimun Bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis
puisi menggunakan media audio visual sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik
pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, yaitu observasi, tes,
wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Aspek yang dinilai dalam menulis puisi yaitu
kesesuaian isi dengan tema, ketepatan diksi, dan penggunaan majas. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual pada
pembelajaran menulis puisi berhasil dengan perubahan nilai yang baik. Hal
tersebut dapat dilihat melalui nilai rata- rata yang diperoleh siswa mengalami
perubahan setelah menggunakan Media Audio Visual pada pembelajarannya,
yaitu sebesar 79,86 yang berkualifikasi tinggi (66-79). Perolehan nilai sangat
tinggi sebesar 93 dan nilai sedang 73. Terdapat 9 siswa yang mendapat nilai
berkualifikasi sangat tinggi dan 6 siswa memperoleh nilai berkualifikasi
tinggi.

No full textThis study indicates the ways in which various aspects of the author(s) are brought forth in Dumb type’s performance art, the S/N production. Previous research has suggested a non-hierarchical organization of Dumb type and the absence of a “privileged author” in Dumb type’s collaborative work, S/N. However, the results that I have investigated from member’s interviews on the creative process of S/N along with my analysis of the recorded images of S/N, indicate a different aspect of the author(s). First, S/N was created through, so to speak, the collective ideas of the members of Dumb type. Further, S/N has at least nine quotations from previous performances, installations, and printed writings, besides the work-in-progress technique. Explicating one of the “author functions” as given by Michel Foucault, each text has plural subjects of the author. However, it has been revealed from members’ interviews that Teiji Furuhashi had a decision-making role in selecting the members’ ideas within the performance. Since then, S/N has had plural subjects of creation; however, Furuhashi is one of the subjects of creation along with the “privileged author.” S/N has plural authors (diffusive authors) yet at the same time, it has a “privileged author,” Teiji Furuhashi (cohesive author)
