Asymptotic properties of weighted least squares estimation in weak parma models
No full textThe aim of this work is to investigate the asymptotic properties of weighted least squares (WLS) estimation for causal and invertible periodic autoregressive moving average (PARMA) models with uncorrelated but dependent errors. Under mild assumptions, it is shown that the WLS estimators of PARMA models are strongly consistent and asymptotically normal. It extends Theorem 3.1 of Basawa and Lund (2001) on least squares estimation of PARMA models with independent errors. It is seen that the asymptotic covariance matrix of the WLS estimators obtained under dependent errors is generally different from that obtained with independent errors. The impact can be dramatic on the standard inference methods based on independent errors when the latter are dependent. Examples and simulation results illustrate the practical relevance of our findings. No full textParma. —The scalyfins comprise ten large herbivorous species confined mainly to the temperate and subtropical waters around Australia and New Zealand (Allen, 1975a, 1987a; Allen and Hoese, 1975; Allen and Larson, 1979). Allen and Hoese (1975) noted some resemblance to the monotypic Hypsypops but were wary that any similarity could ‘‘be the result of convergence due to environmental similarities.’’ Their caution was warranted because, although they are in the same subfamily, these two genera are not sister taxa, with Hypsypops sister to Similiparma and Parma sister to all other microspathodontines except Mecaenichthys (Fig. 1). In prior phylogenetic studies, sampling for the genus has been limited, including two species at most (P. microlepis and P. oligolepis). Even though it is assumed to be a natural grouping, recent studies (e.g., Cowman and Bellwood, 2011; Litsios et al., 2012a, 2012b; Frédérich et al., 2013; Rabosky et al., 2013, 2018; DiBattista et al., 2016; Mirande, 2016; Gaboriau et al., 2018; Delrieu-Trottin et al., 2019) have been unable to recover a monophyletic Parma. This may be due to irregularities in the 12S and 16S sequences of Parma oligolepis extracted from KU T3096 (M. W. Westneat, pers. comm.), which has been widely used (Tang, 2001; Jang-Liaw et al., 2002; Tang et al., 2004; Cowman and Bellwood, 2011; Litsios et al., 2012a, 2012b; Frédérich et al., 2013; Rabosky et al., 2013, 2018; Mirande, 2016; Gaboriau et al., 2018; Delrieu-Trottin et al., 2019). That same sample was sequenced for this study, but 12S and 16S data were omitted. Our phylogeny recovers a monophyletic Parma with strong branch support (100% bootstrap; Fig. 1). Salmonellae in the Parma River: 2 years of monitoring
No full textDuring the period April 1987-February 1989 the contamination of Parma river by Salmonella was studied. These pathogens were almost constantly isolated all over the period of survey (91.7% of samples were positive). The concentration of Salmonella Spp, evaluated as MPN/1, appeared to be also remarkable, ranging from 1 to 92/l. The variety of serotypes appeared furthermore considerable either regarded on the whole (38 serotypes) or related to the single drawings (from 2 to 14 serotypes simultaneously present in 90.9% of samples). Some serotypes as: S. typhimurium, S. livingstone, S. brandenburg, S. panama, have been recovered from most of samples, some others as S. give, S. Stanleyville, S. agona have been recovered only in a few times

It describes how he was able to get public office and his path towards the exit from the National Five Star Movement led by Beppe Grillo. In this book there are many intervieews with local adminsitartors, stakeholders, and a local survet among citizens in order to understand to what extent Pizzarotti is able to receive positive or negative comments on his administration. It also describes the internal struggle with Five Star Movement's supporters and the foundation of his local list labeled "Effetto Parma"

No full textNel 1984, con la messinscena de L’istruttoria di Peter Weiss, il Collettivo di Parma realizza un originale e efficace dispositivo scenico, una architettura che ingloba sia attori che spettatori. Pernio del dispositivo è una lunga parete obliqua, che funge da cerniera fra due dimensioni spazio-temporali - quella del prologo e quella degli eventi narrati, quella del presente e quella del passato - instaurando una mirabile drammaturgia scenica di evocazione onirica della tragedia dell’Olocausto. Il saggio descrive e analizza il funzionamento e i significati agiti da tale scrittura di scena, sullo sfondo del dibattito contemporaneo riguardante la memoria della Shoah e l’ “era del testimone” (Wieviorka 1999).Since 1984 the company il Collettivo (based in Parma, Teatro Due) proposes a memorable production of Peter Weiss’s Die Ermittlung. The production does not adapt to usual stages but takes place into a scenic architecture, specifically deviced to comprehend both actors and audience. A long black wall functions as a hinge between two different dimensions in space and time: on the one side of the wall, the ‘real’ dimension of Present time, on the other side of the wall, the fictional, fantasmatic dimension of the Past (the narrative of the Holocaust). My essay describes and analyzes such scenic device and its dramaturgy of oniric evocation, while taking in account the contemporary debate about the “era of witness” (Wieviorka 1999).ope
