    PREDIKSI UMUR LAYAN WADUK WONOGIRI DENGAN METODE POINT INTEGRATED SAMPLING

    ABSTRAK Sedimentasi merupakan proses akhir dari peristiwa erosi akibat aliran air permukaan (run off), dimana butiran tanah terbawa melalui cekungan, saluran air menuju ke sungai kemudian berakhir di waduk. Akibatnya waduk akan terisi sedimen, sehingga sedimen yang tidak terkendali akan mempengaruhi umur layan waduk. Metode point integrated sampling merupakan sebuah alternatif untuk mengetahui umur layan waduk. Studi kasus dilakukan di waduk serbaguna Wonogiri, dengan peralatan yang digunakan berupa GPS, bandul duga set, meteran, dibantu dengan software surfer untuk mendapatkan peta bathymetry waduk. Metode point integrated sampling merupakan metode pengukuran kedalaman waduk secara langsung menggunakan bandul duga dengan jumlah titik pengambilan yang banyak, merata dan saling terintegrasi untuk mendapatkan elevasi endapan sedimen saat ini. Kemudian data hasil elevasi waduk diolah dengan menggunakan software surfer sehingga akan didapatkan peta bathymetry dan volume endapan sedimen saat ini. Selanjutnya hasilnya dibandingkan dengan menggunakan metode Auerswlad , Boyce dan Weischmeier and Smith. Pada saat running dengan software surfer didapatkan peta bathymetry kontur waduk, volume sedimen saat ini 97.616.207,883424 m3 dan laju sedimennya sebesar 2.711.561 m3 /th. Dengan Metode Auerswlad didapatkan volume sedimen saat ini sebesar 10.353.547,15 m3 dan laju sedimennya sebesar 287.598,53 m3 /th. Dengan Metode Boyce didapatkan volume sedimen Waduk Wonogiri saat ini sebesar 2.211.562,09 m3 dan laju sedimennya sebesar 61.432,28 m3 /th. Sedangkan dengan metode Weischmeir and Smith dapatkan volume sedimen saat ini sebesar 75.413.780 m3 dan laju sedimennya sebesar 2.094.827 m3 /th. Dari perhitungan surfer didapat umur layan wonogiri adalah adalah 44 tahun. Dengan metode Auerswlad didapat umur layan Waduk Wonogiri adalah 417 tahun. Dengan metode Boyce didapat umur layan Waduk Wonogiri adalah 1.953 tahun. Sedangkan Dengan metode Weischmeir and Smith didapat umur layan Waduk Wonogiri adalah 57 tahun.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

The Application of the Contextual Learning Model to Improve the Understanding on the Concept of Physical Environment Changes of the Subject Matter of Natural Science of the Students in Grade IV of State Primary School of Mojorejo 02 in the Academic Year of 2009/2010. Skripsi: The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, October 2010. The objective of the research is to improve the understanding on the concept of physical environment changes of the subject matter of Natural Science of the students in Grade IV of State Primary School of Mojorejo 02 in the academic year of 2009/2010.through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model. The research used a classroom action research design. It was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were the 21 students in Grade IV of State Primary School of Mojorejo 02 in the academic year of 2009/2010. The data of the research were gathered through observation, documentation, and test. The observation aimed at investigating the activities of the teacher and the activeness of the students in the learningprocess with the Contextual Learning model. The data of the research were analyzed by using an interactive analysis consisting of three components, namely: datareduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. Based on classroom action research in 2 cycles with the application of contextual learning model in teaching science in fourth grade elementary school students Mojorejo 02 can be made conclusions as follows: 1. The results of the research show that the application ofthe Contextual Learning model can improve the understanding on the concept of physical environment change of the subject matter of Natural Science of the students in Grade IV of State Primary School of Mojorejo 02 in the academic year of 2009/2010. This can be seen from the results of learning and increasing student mastery include (a) an increase in average student learning results obtained from the scat initial state until the final condition of 32.86% (baseline average value 57.67, in the first cycle the average value is 67.57 and the second cycle of the average value 76.62), (b) an increase in students 'mastery of the prior action until the final condition of 143.9% (percentage of students' mastery learning in the initial conditions 33.33%, on the first cycle of66.67% and the percentage of student 's second cycle 80.95%). 2. The application of Contextual Learning model can improve the activity of physical environment change of the subject matter of Natural Science of the students in Grade IV of State Primary School of Mojorejo 02 in the academic year of 2009/2010. Subjects viewed with the increased activity of fourth grade students is on the first cycle the number ofstudents who are active as much as 10 or 47.62% in cycle I increase to 14 students active or 66.67%in cycle II

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
