This study aims to gain an understanding of the external and internal conflicts in the novel's main character and presents the results of research material for learning materials in schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of a structural approach. The data in this study is a literary text which includes external and internal conflict in the novel Macan Kertas. Data collection techniques with techniques of documentary studies by way of reviewing literature becomes a source of research data. Based on data analysis, novel Macan Kertas discusses external conflict is a conflict with the main character Ma'am barrel, the market administrator, officer and head of the Department of Market Management, hired thugs and Lutfi husband. Not only that there is also an internal conflict the main character is feeling sad, angry, disappointed, anxious, upset, regret, fear, happy, surprised, worried and wonder. The result is expected to be a reference for the development of subsequent research that want to study novel by Budi Anggoro with another theory. Would be much better reader works Budi Anggoro understand the context in these work, so bring meaning conveyed author

Pranoto, Anggoro Jati. 2016.The Effect Implementation Of Watch Keeping With Safety Of CrewOn MT. MATINDOK When Berthing At The Port. Minithesis. Deck Department, Program of Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. Adviser: I Capt.Ilham Ashari, M.M., M.Mar., II Agus Hendro Waskito, M.M., M.Mar.E. With the background of the analyzed accident data Maritime Safety Committee note that the accident caused by human error of ± 80%, the authors attempt to lift it into a minithesis entitled " The Effect Implementation Of Watch Keeping With Safety Of CrewOn MT. MATINDOK When Berthing At The Port. ". Especially with the restrictions on the scope of the location of the problem that we encountered during the preparation of this paper is expected to give an idea of the negligence of wachkeeping when ship berthing may endanger the safety, the role of the elements associated and procedure or procedures department precautions for the safety of the crew in the port, should be appropriate Standing Order and the STCW 2010 for the realization of a good watch keeping and the safety of crew can be kept. In a theoretical basis, the author describes things related to watch keeping at the port, due to negligence of watch keeping caused by a lack of awareness and negligence in performing watch keeping and how prevention and treatment procedures on board with regard to its human resources. Performance and the success rate of the crew in carrying out watch keeping at the time the ship berthing at the port is influenced by several factors. The factors among others are from the man himself, the influence of equipment that does not support, and the factors of the work environment. As for the wedge to the third factor is affecting the level of their productivity in doing all of the work on the boat. In analyzing the data and research shows exposure writer general description object of research and the process of handling of the problems arising from the implementation of the agency in case that is not in accordance with the procedures applicable on the ship in accordance with the observations and author interviews with stakeholders in field, and then we compare it with the existing procedures. Finally, the author can infer the elements in the case of irregularities implementation services in detail and determine the success of the implementation of the handling of watch keeping applicable on the ship. The use of composite materials with natural fiber reinforcement (CMNFR) has experienced rapid development in the automotive industry to apply synthetic materials that are expensive and not environmentally friendly. Biocomposite is a composite consisting of a polymer matrix and natural fiber reinforcement. Natural fiber materials are used as a substitute for conventional non-renewable reinforcing materials. This study uses the vacuum-assisted resin infusion (VARI) process to fabricate composites using woven kenaf and jute from natural fiber. The Taguchi experimental design method with L273 as an orthogonal array matrix was used in this research to obtain the optimum CMNFR fabrication parameters. Response Surface Methodology is used to obtain the optimal response value based on microstructural analysis. The factors used were NaOH treatment (4, 6, 8 wt%), water absorption test (6, 12, 24 hours), and fiber type (KF, JF, KF-JF). The study’s results found a combination of optimization of CMNFR manufacturing parameters using RSM, namely, A1B1C2 with a mean material strength of 0.241 J/mm2 (impact strength) and a combination of A1B3C1 parameters with a mean material strength of 94.8650 MPa (flexural strength). It was also found that the presence of contaminants and voids harmed the mechanical properties

Optimization of innovation features in mobile-based attendance application

Improved Human Resources Performance can be realized in the employee’s absence. The sophistication of technology to accommodate the absence is the use of a Mobile-Based Attendance Application. Attendance can be used to measure employee performance. One of the measuring tools in measuring performance is the Key Performance Indicator (KPI). KPI values can be obtained from the Mobile-based Attendance Application, as currently implemented by an IT Company. But in its development, there is a shortage on the application features of Daily Attendance, Leave, Report Recaps Attendance and Report Recaps Leave. The value engineering method with the Analytical Hierarchy Process is used in this paper to obtain prioritized alternatives in the development of application feature updates. The results of the research show that the alternative with the largest percentage is owned by Alternative IV (45.6%). These results indicate that this alternative can be used as a recommendation for renewal of attendance application features on IT Company. Alternative IV shows optimal results such as the realization of application feature requirements for users, consumption of fewer workdays for 1-2 days, low costs, easy-to-understand feature design, and uncomplicated programming techniques

This study aims to analyze the engagement of the Instagram account @mamitoko and @mamitoko_store which influence Brand Awareness, by observing 3 (three) elements in analyzing social media interaction, such as creator-related features, contextual features, and content features. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by conducting interviews with users. The author used the Miles and Hubberman model and tested the validity of the data using the source transulation technique. The results of this study show that the Instagram account @mamitoko and @mamitoko_store have an admin who manages social media. Based on the author's analysis, the engagement of @mamitoko_store is not optimal. Soft-selling content is more attractive to visitors, besides that visitors are more interested in educative content,  detailed information content, and interactive content

Several studies on the acquisition of quantification (Musolino 1998, Musolino, Crain and Thornton, 2001, Lidz and Musolino 2001) have shown that 4- to 6-year-old children differ systematically from adults in their ability to assign inverse scope to ambiguous sentences like (1) and (2). (1) The Smurf didn’t catch two birds (2) Every horse didn’t jump over the fence Using the Truth Value Judgment Task (Crain and McKee 1985, Crain and Thornton 1998, Gordon 1996), these authors found that adults were able to assign either reading of (3) and (4) to sentences like (1) and (2), respectively.1 (3) a. There are two birds that the Smurf didn’t catch (two> not) b. It is not the case that the Smurf caught two birds (not> two) (4) a. Not every horse jumped over the fence (not> every) b. No horses jumped over the fence (every> not) Four and five-year-old children, however, systematically rejected the inverse scope readings (3a/4a) of the quantificational expressions t w
