No full textNilai-nilai sangat dibutuhkan dalam sebuah organisasi, dengan nilai-nilai yang terinternalisasi dengan baik akan berefek baik saat organisasi dalam keadaan “status quo” dalam pengambilan keputusan dan menghadapi permasalahan kompleks yang sedang dihadapi. Universitas Katolik Musi Charitas (UKMC) merupakan Perguruan Tinggi (PT) hasil merger tiga sekolah tinggi. Permasalahan terhadap penanaman nilai-nilai CHAMPION di UKMC akan terlihat dalam hal sikap individu civitas akademika karena keberagaman latar belakang dan nilai-nilai yang telah tertanam.
Proses penanaman nilai dapat dilakukan dengan beragam cara yang sejalan dengan strategi organisasi. CHAMPION sebagai profil kualitas sumber daya manusia yang hendak dibangun. CHAMPION adalah akronim dari Charity (cinta kasih dan kemurahan hati), Humanity (berorientasi pada kemanusiaan), Altruism (mengutamakan kepentingan orang lain dan rela berkorban), Managerial capacity (kemampuan manajemen), Persistent (berdaya juang, gigih, tangguh), Integrity (jujur, disiplin, bertanggung jawab), Open minded (Terbuka dan berwawasan luas), Novelty (menyukai ide-ide baru, kreatif, inovatif).
Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) mengevaluasi pelaksanaan/internalisasi nilai-nilai CHAMPION di UKMC. 2) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kurang optimalnya internalisasi nilai-nilai CHAMPION. 3) merancang strategi untuk mengoptimalkan proses penanaman nilai-nilai CHAMPION. Secara umum proses pemecahan masalah mengikuti langkah-langkah yaitu: (1) Formulate the problem. Dari hasil indentifikasi internalisasi nilai-nilai CHAMPION di Perguruan Tinggi saat ini, kekurangan nilai CHAMPION tersebut (dilihat dari aspek C, H, A, M, P, I, O, N). (2) Analyze the problem. Pencarian akar masalah dari penanaman nilai dan menyatakannya dalam (hipotesis) pernyataan masalah. (3) Search for alternative solutions. Spesifikasi desain program-program terpilih untuk meningkatkan nilai-nilai yang kurang. Pengembangan program x yang terintegrasi. Benchmarking (meniru bentuk program di PT lain) dilakukan jika memungkinkan untuk mempercepat proses. Beberapa alternatif bentuk program yang baru diharapkan dapat di hasilkan agar memenuhi standar/keinginan CHAMPION yang telah dirumuskan. (4) Decide among the alternative solutions. Pemilihan dilakukan untuk desain final dari beberapa alternatif program yang dihasilkan dari langkah sebelumnya dan (5) Specify the solution. Hasil program yang menjadi pilihan untuk direkomendasikan dan akan dibuat untuk direalisasikan oleh PT yang bersangkutan beserta assessmentnya

With this connection, students and faculty can access the network like the Internet through a wired network with a PC computer terminal in the room at the computer lab or laptops that they also have location-campus around the Technical High School Musi Palembang. Based on observations by researchers that the students of Engineering College of Musi has many uses hotspots (Wi-Fi) to be able to do the job classes, establish social networks and also to access things outside of education.
The research data obtained directly by the author through observation and questionnaires point rating scale with 1 (one) to 5 (five) provided to respondents as much 82 people who serve as research samples. STT Musi also use the internet as a means to publicize itself to the wider community. STT Musi has a website that can be accessed by school academic community by using desktop computers or mobile devices, but accessing from mobile devices are much less effective because FST STT Musi 's website doesn't support mobile devices. To solve the existing problems, the author designed a mobile-based version of STT Musi's using waterfall model software development methodology and Unified Modelling Language (UML). The programming languages used in system development are PHP and HTML, together with MySQL as the database. User can access the system through GPRS, WAP, WML, or X-HTML-MP supported mobile devices.
