No full textTema diplomskega dela so knjige, ki so nastale izpod peresa večkrat nagrajenega nizozemskega pisatelja Guusa Kuijera. Zbirko njegovih nagrad krasi tudi najprestižnejša nagrada za otroško in mladinsko literaturo na svetu Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. V svojih knjigah na zanimiv in razumljiv način ruši tabuje in nas uči, da ljubezen vedno pomaga.
Diplomsko delo je teoretično, sestavljeno iz dveh delov.
V prvem delu diplomskega dela je na kratko predstavljena teorija realistične mladinske proze. Teme, ki jih pisatelj opisuje v svojih delih, uvrščamo v tabu teme, zato se v diplomskem delu na kratko posvetim tudi temu. Predstavljen je življenjepis in bibliografija Guusa Kuijera. Nekaj besed pa je namenjenih tudi nagradam.
V drugem, pomembnejšem delu diplomskega dela, je analiziranih šest mladinskih pripovedi Guusa Kuijera, ki so prevedena v slovenski jezik, in sicer Knjiga vseh stvari (2008) in pet knjig o enajstletni deklici Polleke, Naj ljubezen gori kot plamen, amen (2006), Raj je tukaj in zdaj (2009), Ko sreča trešči kot strela (2010), Čez obzorje z vetrom na morje (2011) in Ej, moje ime je Polleke! (2012). Predstavila in analizirala sem morfološke značilnosti omenjenih literarnih besedil (književni prostor, književni čas, pripovedovalec, snov, tema, motiv, zgradbo zgodbe, opis literarnih likov).
V zaključku diplomskega dela sem potrdila oziroma ovrgla hipoteze, ki sem si jih zastavila v uvodnem delu diplomskega dela.The subject of this diploma thesis are books written by the awarded Dutch author Guus Kuijer. Guus Kuijer was also awarded with the most prestigious award in children\u27s literature, the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. His books break taboos in an interesting and comprehensible way, and teach us that love always helps.
The thesis is theoretical, comprised of two parts.
The first part of the thesis contains a short presentation of the realism in children\u27s literature. The themes, described in his works are classified as taboo subjects, that is why the thesis also focuses on taboos. Also presented is the biography and bibliography of Guus Kujier, a successful and prolific author. The thesis also focuses on his awards.
The second part of the thesis, contains the analysis of six youth stories by Guus Kuijer translated into Slovene, Knjiga vseh stvari (2008“The Book of Everything”) and five books about an eleven-year old girl Polleke, Naj ljubezen gori kot plamen, amen (2006“Voor altijd samen, amen”), Raj je tukaj in zdaj (2009“Het is fijn om er te zijn”), Ko sreča trešči kot strela (2010, “Het geluk komt als de donder”), Čez obzorje z vetrom na morje (2011“Met de wind mee naar zee”) and Ej, moje ime je Polleke! (2012“Ik ben Polleke hoor!”). I presented and analysed the morphological features of the mentioned literary texts (literary space, time, narrator, matter, theme, motive, structure, description of characters).

Interprofessional Oral Healthcare Education: Changing Attitudes and Teamwork

321076.pdf (Publisher’s version ) (Closed access)Good collaboration between dental hygienists and dentists is essential for future-proof oral healthcare, especially as care demands become more complex and staff shortages increase. This dissertation explores how interprofessional education in a Student-Run Dental Clinic, a student-led learning workplace, contributes to such collaboration. The results show that learning in an authentic practice setting with real patients enhances understanding of each other’s roles, fosters positive attitudes, and strengthens trust in collaboration. Four mechanisms explain the success of interprofessional education: responsibility, enthusiasm, safety, and feeling ready. These mechanisms help students feel engaged, motivated, and valued, which in turn improves their interprofessional collaboration skills. At the same time, differences in status and unspoken expectations, the ‘hidden curriculum’, may hinder collaboration. To ensure lasting impact, it is important that students experience sustained well-guided interprofessional learning in practice. Implications of Social Practice Theory for Sustainable Design
No full textSustainable design faces challenges at a scale and level of complexity that are ill at ease with design’s mainstream focus on products and users. Recently, social practice theory has been suggested as a promising theoretical framework to inform new ways of designing. In social practice theory, practices – socially shared entities such as cleaning, cooking and playing – are taken as the fundamental unit of analysis. So far, however, design research in this area has been scattered and varying strongly in its interpretations of the implications of a ‘practice-orientation’. HyperLTL Satisfiability Is Σ11 -Complete, HyperCTL∗ Satisfiability Is Σ21 -Complete
No full textTemporal logics for the specification of information-flow properties are able to express relations between multiple executions of a system. The two most important such logics are HyperLTL and HyperCTL∗, which generalise LTL and CTL∗ by trace quantification. It is known that this expressiveness comes at a price, i.e. satisfiability is undecidable for both logics. In this paper we settle the exact complexity of these problems, showing that both are in fact highly undecidable: we prove that HyperLTL satisfiability is Σ11 -complete and HyperCTL∗ satisfiability is Σ21 -complete. These are significant increases over the previously known lower bounds and the first upper bounds. To prove Σ21 -membership for HyperCTL∗, we prove that every satisfiable HyperCTL∗ sentence has a model that is equinumerous to the continuum, the first upper bound of this kind. We prove this bound to be tight. Finally, we show that the membership problem for every level of the HyperLTL quantifier alternation hierarchy is Π11 -complete

More disposable than ever? Consequences of non-removable batteries in mobile devices
No full textMobile devices like smart phones, tablet computers and ultraportable laptops are experiencing rapid worldwide market growth and have relatively short lifespans. Recently, embedded (non-removable) batteries were introduced that cannot be replaced by consumers. This study traces the environmental and social consequences of the introduction of embedded batteries throughout the value chain: from the original equipment manufacturers, to the users of mobile devices, to the repair, refurbishment and end-of-life recycling companies. It shows that the introduction of embedded batteries was mainly technology and design-driven, that original owners are hardly aware of embedded batteries (unless they seek to prolong the life of their phones), that embedded batteries have contributed to a thriving but mostly unauthorized repair and refurbishment market and finally that recyclers have difficulties removing the batteries. From a social and environmental sustainability perspective, reintroducing removable batteries is preferable, but the study shows this may not be feasible and examines alternative options.Design EngineeringIndustrial Design Engineerin
