Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Analysis of services provided in international bus transportation

The aim of this work was to acquaint readers with the requirements for the operation of international bus transport in the Czech Republic and Germany and to evaluate the quality of services provided by the carrier Flixbus s.r.o. on international routes. The evaluation was based on a questionnaire survey of 100 respondents and the results show pitfalls that prevent companies from improving their market position. In the end, specific recommendations are formulated for the company, which could be the basis for stabilizing the development of passenger demand and increasing customer satisfaction with the quality of the company's services compared to its competitors.
Remote work has become very popular all over the world. Nevertheless, the military conflict in Ukraine has affected entrepreneurs in a new way. This dissertation focuses on the role of coworking spaces as centers of support and sustainability for Ukrainian entrepreneurs during the war. The paper explores how coworking spaces adapted to the war conditions, what assistance they provided to the surrounding community and a list of changes that occurred during the war. Qualitative research using semi-structured interviews was used to achieve the objectives. The study involved 8 coworking owners and the founder of Coworking Association of Ukraine. This study showed the high adaptability of coworking centers in Ukraine during the war. With a drop in the number of clients due to mobilization and relocation, coworking centers introduced flexible rates (hourly, daily) to survive. Despite increased security costs (bomb shelters, generators), they became support centers, offering free places to victims and helping volunteers.vojenský konflikt na Ukrajině zasáhl podnikatele novým způsobem.

Summary
The article discusses the problem of medical students theoretical knowledge improvement that will significantly improve their clinical knowledge. The main factors that determine medical students’ positive motivation to study are considered. The authors prove that both theoretical and clinical disciplines teaching integration is possible as a result of complex approach to students teaching that will result in students’ knowledge survival on the higher courses. Leading role belongs to the theoretical departments which workers by writing textbooks and manuals, creating teaching multimedia programmes, using exact control and students' knowledge evaluation will provide the necessary motivational component of students’ further teaching on clinical departments. The integrated approach contributes to future profession single picture formation, motivates students to theoretical and clinical disciplines deep study. The future doctors teaching process reforming at Odessa National Medical University General and Clinical Pathological Physiology Department is given as an example.
Authors guesses that new methodical methods of working with students in the practical work introduction, the change in the technology of teaching, the modification of the educational process, the approximation of theoretical knowledge to the patient's bed, the greater students interest in the positive end-goal - a correct diagnosis and cure of the patient - will allow to optimize the educational process and improve the quality of students’ training.

Cognitive modeling of financial and economic provision of quality activation of higher education
Ostapenko V. Cognitive modeling of financial and economic provision of quality activation of higher education / V. Ostapenko, V. Tyshchenko, O. Rats, O. Omelchenko // Financial and Credit Activity: Problems of Theory and Practice. – 2021. – Vol. 5. – No. 40. – Р. 345-354. – Режим доступу до ресурсу: https://fkd.net.ua/index.php/fkd/article/view/3336/3372.The article develops and substantiates the need to determine the causal links
between concepts that contribute to the quality of higher education. The lack of motivation for
radical reform of higher education is still hampered by attempts to use the successful international
experience of the process of building a full-fledged system of quality assurance in the provision of
educational services. The aim of the article is to develop a model for identifying causal links
between the concepts of financial and economic support, which contribute to improving the quality
of higher education. A system of concepts of the internal state and macro-environment of financial
security has been formed, which has a positive or negative impact on the intensification of higher
education. A fuzzy cognitive map of the impact of financial and economic support on improving the
quality of higher education has been built. Scales and criteria for providing a qualitative assessment
of the impact of the concepts of financial and economic support for the intensification of higher
education in accordance with the introduced linguistic sets are calculated on the basis of the
trapezoidal number method. The concepts of internal state and macroenvironment for activation of
higher education are defined. The negative impact on the level of public spending on education and
opportunities for access to ICT, which constrains the prospects for development and realization of
the potential of participants in the higher education process, has been proved. The negative impact
on the quality of higher education on the migration of students to study abroad has been identified,
as access to higher education is almost unlimited due to significant government procurement and
relatively low cost of contract education, and the return on higher education is relatively low.
According to the simulation results, in order to intensify higher education, it is necessary to focus
on the quality of teachers, provide opportunities for development, competence development,
obtaining a higher level of qualification, which includes postgraduate and doctoral studies and
academic degrees. Currently, an important priority of the European innovation system is the
formation of the European Research Area. That is why there is a need to find effective mechanisms
to influence the quality of research and innovation, which is represented by the number of
publications / patents / CAT, investment and innovation projects, grants. Support for these concepts
will provide an opportunity to unleash scientific and innovative potential, have a high social status
in society and will improve the quality of educational services provided
Challenges and Benefits of Cooperation of International Teams in a Global Corporation
Leadership and collaboration of work teams, this has been a repeatedly discussed topic in professional life. In today's globalized world, where borders are fading, and individuals can work with anyone, from anywhere, team leadership and collaboration have taken on an international dimension. This form of collaboration brings numerous benefits, but it also brings challenges that both, the work team and its leadership, must address. This thesis addresses the issues of challenges and benefits associated with the collaboration of international teams in a global environment, from the perspective of team managers. The theoretical part of the work focuses on the characteristics of international teams, cultural diversity, and communication and collaboration within international teams. The practical part aims to explore the experiences of selected managers in leading international teams. Specifically, it examines the forms of collaboration within international teams, the cultural aspects of this cooperation, including experiences in leading diverse cultures. Additionally, the study investigates tools used for communication and collaboration and, the actual benefits and challenges of collaborating within an international team in a global society. Qualitative research in the form of in- depth interviews was conducted to gather the necessary data. These interviews provided detailed information and insights from respondents with extensive experience in leading international teams. The research findings can serve as an inspiration for managers of such teams or entire companies operating (or aspiring to operate) in a global environment
Mean flow generation by Görtler Vortices in a rotating annulus with librating side walls
Longitudinal libration of the cylinder side walls of a rotating annulus in the supercritical regime induces a centrifugally unstable Stokes boundary layer which generates Görtler vortices only in a portion of a libration cycle. We show for the first time that these vortices propagate into the fluid bulk and generate an azimuthal mean flow which is retrograde (prograde) over the outer (inner) cylinder side wall. Direct numerical simulations (DNS) are carried out and Reynolds-averaged equations and kinetic energy budget of mean and fluctuating flow are used as diagnostic equations to discuss the generation mechanism and scaling behavior of the azimuthal mean flow in the fluid bulk
Multivariate Polarimetric Bistatic Clutter Statistical Analysis
This paper deals with the analysis of simultaneously collected co- and cross-polarized bistatic sea-clutter returns with special emphasis on their representation as a Spherically Invari-ant Random Process (SIRP). The study is conducted by using appropriate testing procedures involving the complex envelope of the measured data that provide both first- and higher-order compatibility conditions. The results highlight that the SIRP model is a good candidate for the representation of bistatic coherent clutter, and usually the coherence time of the SIRP texture is longer than that in the monostatic case.Green Open Access added to TU Delft Institutional Repository 'You share, we take care!' - Taverne project https://www.openaccess.nl/en/you-share-we-take-care Otherwise as indicated in the copyright section: the publisher is the copyright holder of this work and the author uses the Dutch legislation to make this work public.Microwave Sensing, Signals & System
