    The morality issues always colored human life from the changing of time. The basic principle of morality is identically with character or ethics. These terms have similar meaning, those are; habit, character, and disposition. The morality always refers to good and bad aspect of someone, whether he is an adult or a child. In Islam, child’s morality does not only inform good aspect, but also bad aspect in his behavior. Thus, the important thing is how to show Islamic education toward the child. Therefore, he/she can apply goodness in his life, so that he gets benefit for himself.     Pondok pesantren merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan berbasis islam yang ada di Indonesia, yang di dalamnya mengajarkan berbagai macam  pelajaran  keagamaan  mengenai  islam  dan  sebagai  salah  satu  lembaga yang berperan banyak dalam pendidikan moral dan akhlak yang mulia bagi para santri didalamnya. Pondok pesantren yang ada di indonesia memiliki sejarah yang unik dan mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri dibandingkan dengan pondok  pesantren  yang   ada  di  negeri lain. Memaknai Istilah Pondok Pesantren. Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah : 1) Memahami sejarah singkat dan perkembangan pondok pesantren di Indonesia. 2) Memaknai karakteristik dan tujuan serta umsur-unsur pendidikan pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan islam di Indonesia. 3) Memahami sistem pembelajaran pondok pesantren di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan eksistensinya yang semakin bertahan dan memperoleh pengakuan dan variasinya yang semakin bertambah, telah mengantarkan pada kesimpulan bahwa pesantren mempunyai karakter plural, tidak seragam dan tidak memiliki wajah uniform. Pluralitas pesantren ditunjukkan antara lain dengan tiadanya sebuah aturan pun baik menyangkut manajerial, administrasi, birokrasi, struktur, budaya, kurikulum dan apalagi pemihakan politik.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    The purpose of this study is to describe and test the effect of the application of inquiry and discovery models on the learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History in MTs. As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang. This type of research is an ex-post facto research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students in MTs As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang. Sampling was done by random sampling of 66 students. The results of the study found the effect of applying the inquiry model of 21.4% and discoveri of 5.1% on the SKI learning outcomes. The effect of inquiry and discovery models on student learning outcomes in Islamic Cultural History subjects at MTs. As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang by 21.5%. while the remaining 78.5 percent is influenced by other factors

    Variations on the Author

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Muhammadiyah dan NU merupakan organisasi sosial Islam mainstreamdi Indonesia  yang  telah  berdiri  sebelum  Indonesia  merdeka.  Kedua  organisasi  ini menggerakkan pembaharuan  pemikiran  Islam,  dakwah,  sosial,  kesehatan  dan pendidikan. KH. Ahmad Dahlan merupakan seorang pendiri Muhammadiyah. Dibidang pendidikan, Muhammadiyah melakukan modernisasi pendidikan islam di Indonesia. Dengan menyempurnakan kurikulum pendidikan islam dengan memasukkan pendidikan agama islam ke sekolah umum dan pengetahuan sekuler ke sekolah agama. kebangkitan Islam di Indonesia pun juga diwarnai dengan pemikiran KH.Hasyim Asy’ari pendiri NU yang berbeda dengan KH.Ahmad Dahlan. Bangkitnya pemikiran KH.Hasyim Asy’ari adalah ingin tetap mempertahankan tradisionalisme, akan tetapi juga menghendaki perubahan yang lebih baik dalam pendidikan Islam Indonesia  Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu 1) untuk mengkaji Pemikiran KH. Ahmad Dahlan dalam bidang Pendidikan Islam 2) untuk mengkaji Pemikiran KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dalam bidang Pendidikan Islam3)untuk mengetahui  Relevansi Pemikiran KH. Ahmad Dahlan dan KH. Hasyim Asy’ari terhadap Pendidikan Islam.Hasil  penelitian  ini mengungkapkan   bahwa walaupun berbeda pandangan namun memiliki relevansi pemikiran yaitu mengharapkan agar umat Islam tidak sekedar mempuni dalam ilmu agama saja tapi juga mempuni dalam ilmu-ilmu umum.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
