Beliau merupakan Tokoh Warisan Kebangsaan Orang Hidup (WAKOH) - Boria. Temubual ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui, peranan ketua kumpulan Boria Omara serta perjalanan kehidupan beliau dan juga sumbangan yang telah diberikan kepada masyarakat. Temubual ini telah dijalankan secara bersemuka (face-to-face) dengan beliau. Tarikh temubual tersebut adalah 30 Mei 2023 pada 10.12 pagi hingga 1.50 petang. Tuan Omar Bin Md Hashim telah dianugerahkan sebagai Tokoh Warisan Kebangsaan Orang Hidup (WAKOH)- Boria yang disampaikan oleh Jabatan Warisan Negara. Selain itu, beliau juga telah menerima kunjungan daripada Menteri Besar Pulau Pinang, Y.A.B (Yang Amat Berhormat) Tuan Chow Kon Yeow telah membuat kunjungan hormat kepada Tokoh Warisan Kebangsaan Orang Hidup (WAKOH) - Boria, Tuan Omar Bin Md Hashim. Because of that, this useful device which called “Electronic Pot Lifter” is created. This device technology is included in home category, but it also can be used in industry. The purpose of this project is to avoid the risk of getting back pain, especially for the older people and people with disabilities. This project is used to lift and move pots from one place to another place in a flat surface. In addition, this project uses three transwheels to move. The circuit of this project is divided into two, namely motor driver and controller. The motor driver circuit is used to control the movement of the wheels and gripper. A wireless PS2 controller is used to transmit signals to control the movement of the device. The device can lift up to ten kilogram pots. The device is able to grip and lift the pots from one place to another. Besides, it also has the ability to move forward, back, right, left, clockwise rotation, counterclockwise rotation, 30 °, 150 °, 210 ° and 330 °. No full textOld shop house is one of the country's history that is very valuable. The effects of historical relics such as old shop house can be used as reference material for future generations. Old buildings can give us a sense of impressed and makes us want to know more about the people and culture that produced it. The effects of changes in the facade of the building is also an issue that is rarely highlighted as many think local communities are not aware of the benefits of a monument, or a historic building located in the area Accordingly, this paper discusses the façade deterioration of the old shop houses and architecture style that are used in old shop houses at Ipoh. The facade deterioration have a major impact on the performance and condition of the building, stabilization and structural features of the building. The approach used in this study is the observation in the study area and also used questionnaires to identify issues and problems that exist in the study area.. Therefore, based on these conditions, the study of the facade of the building and the role of conservation measures put forward and give the best recommendation in solving the problem because it gives visual impact to the formation of the image of a city

No full textAbstract: This article explores the progressive style of Islamic education and education philosophy initiated by Omar Muhammad at-Toumy Asy-Syaibani. In conducting the exploration, the author uses a qualitative literature research method with the primary source of the book Falsafatu at-Tarbiyah al-Islamiyah by Omar at-Toumy. The results of this paper are a progressive style in the concept of Omar's Islamic education philosophy, including (1) the concept of Tawazun (balanced) and I'tidal (proportional) applied by Omar in formulating the philosophy of Islamic education accommodating the characteristics of progressivism in education in general and at the same time providing a new color in Islamic progressivism. Omar's concept of tawazun was poured into seeing reality, seeing the process of humans getting knowledge, and sources of knowledge and knowledge that are considered valid. (2) Emphasizing individual and societal change for the better, (3) The philosophy of Islamic education is following the community environment's realities (environmentalism) and can be practiced, not utopian ideas. (4) The philosophy of Islamic education is dynamic (dynamic) which can be changed at any time according to the demands of the times (5) Humans (education subjects) as creatures (natural realities) are the best according to Islamic teachings and have intelligence (instrumentalism) as natural resources and potential in solving all problems in the world, besides that he can prosper or take advantage of all the potential that exists in his life (6) The principle of justice and equality in society (students). A progressive style can be seen in (1) The existence of practical and realistic concepts in Islamic education, not only dwelling on information and theory, (2) According to him, an educator must maintain the differences that students have. , given that students have different potentials. (3) The goals of education are also very dynamic, they are adapted to the times, and (4) The curriculum in Islamic education must also be dynamic and flexible with the times.

Animated education resources (AEdoR) on Dato’ Bahaman for form two history subject / Muhamad Firdaus Hj Omar
No full textHistory subject in school is often viewed as difficult subject by students. In year 2013, history has been made a core subject in Malaysian secondary schools and a compulsory subject to pass for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Examination. This increases the challenges for the teachers to prepare good learning materials to teach and capture student’s interests. With the advances of information communication technology, especially in the field of interactive multimedia, teaching and learning opportunities has become more accessible and interesting. In this research, an animated historical topic was designed and developed to enhance the secondary student’s understanding of a historical topic on Dato’ Bahaman. This Animated Educational Resources or also known as AEdoR, was designed and developed based on a historical figure, in history topic for form two (2). This animated movie is 15 minutes in duration and it captures the essence of the content for the topic. Using a preliminary multiple case study approach through a design and developmental research, six (6) experts in the areas of history education, animation and instructional design participated in the design and development process. Sixty (60) secondary school students also viewed the animation and gave feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of learning history through animation. The studies conducted shown that AEdoR was able to enhance the teaching and learning of history through an animated multimedia and thus increases student’s interest to learn about Malaysian history. The researcher hoped to develop more related topics through AEdoR as a complete animated educational resource on Malaysian History
Work status congruence, work-related attitudes, and satisfaction with worklife balance of services employees in Malaysia / Muhamad Khalil Bin Omar
No full textThis study tested whether the relationship between work status congruence and
work-related attitudes (i.e., job satisfaction and affective commitment) is mediated by
satisfaction with work-life balance. The study also examined the extent to which job
satisfaction mediates the relationships between work status congruence and affective
commitment, as well as between satisfaction with work-life balance and affective
commitment. All measures were adopted from the work of past authors. The items were
altered slightly to reflect the references to all non-standard work arrangements (e.g.
part-time, temporary, and contract) and life domains apart from family only (e.g.
leisure, study, recreation, travel, social, community, and hobbies).
This study was conducted using the survey method and 893 services employees
in Malaysia participated in this study. The IBM SPSS Statistics 18.0 was used to
perform the item-total correlations analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA),
reliability test, correlation analysis, independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of
variance (ANOVA). The IBM SPSS AMOS 18.0 was also used to test the hypotheses of
this study. The SEM analysis showed that work status congruence had direct and
indirect effects (i.e. via the mediating role of satisfaction with work-life balance) on
employees’ work-related attitudes (i.e. job satisfaction and affective commitment).
At the same time, work status congruence and satisfaction with work-life
balance were found to have direct and indirect effects (i.e. via the mediating role of job
satisfaction) on employees’ affective commitment. The findings suggested that the
employees’ congruent preferences for work status, schedule, shift and hours could
influence their affective commitment through the mediating roles of their satisfaction
with their work-life balance and their overall jobs. In other words, this study affirmed
that when employees were working on their preferred work staffing and scheduling

arrangements, they would be satisfied with the balance between their work and nonwork
interactions, in terms of their overall jobs; in turn they would be affectively
committed towards their organisations.
This study is the first in Malaysia to highlight the importance of work status
congruence in positively predicting employees’ satisfaction with work-life balance and
simultaneously operationalised it among both standard and non-standard employees.
Further, extending the applicability of the discrepancy theory conceptualised as workstatus
congruence in overcoming the discrepant findings in previous under-developed
studies of work-life balance, this study also extended conception of work-family
balance by verifying the satisfaction with work-life balance as the mediating mechanism
in the relationship between work-status congruence and work-related attitudes.
Furthermore, this study attested a unitary measurement of satisfaction with
work-life balance, thus, contributed towards the body of knowledge of work-life
balance that lacks theoretical studies and conclusive measurement. Therefore, this study
provided empirical evidences for both researchers and managers to make references in
terms of the importance of employees’ congruent preferences of work-life balance
policies, such as non-standard staffing and scheduling arrangements in determining
employees’ work-life balance, job satisfaction and affective commitment. Taken
together, this study proved that non-standard employment is not a sub-standard
employment as long as its implementation is in accordance to employees’ preferences

Laluan motosikal di lebuhraya adalah satu pembinaan yang baru di negara Malaysia. Pada masa sekarang ini hanya Lebuhraya Persekutuan dan Lebuhraya Shah Alam yang menyediakan laluan motosikal ini. Disamping itu juga, pada masa sekarang belum ada garis panduan penyediaan laluan motosikal di lebuhraya. Kemudahan asas mahupun awam seharusnya disediakan di laluan motosikal, dengan tujuan agar penunggang motosikal akan merasa selesa apabila menggunakan laluan motosikal. Sebagai salah satu usaha agar kewujudan sesuatu laluan motosikal tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan maka suatu perancangan yang teliti perlu diperkenalkan. meminati mahupun menggemari akan ikan air tawar ini memandang mereka seiama ini
disogokkan dengan kenikmatan ikan air masin sahaja. Di samping itu juga, pasaran untuk
pengeluaran ikan air tawar ini menunjukan perkembangan yang agak memuaskan.
Sebagai menyahut seruan kerajaan yakni mengurangkan pergantungan import
terutamanya daripada sumber protein ikan, maka telah wujudnya pusat pembenihan serta
penternakan ikan air tawar yang diusahakan sepenuhnya oleh Bumiputera yang diberi
nama Syarikat Megaqua Sdn.Bhd.
Dalam Dasar Pertanian Negara (DPN), akuakultur telah dikenalpasti sebagai
industri utama di dalam sektor pertanian. Pada tahun 2010, pengeluran akuakultur
dijangka mencapai 350,000 metrik tan dimana sebanyak 115,721 tan metrik datangnya
dari perusahaan ikan air tawar. Selebihnya adalah hasil pengeluaran daripada sumber laut
dan udang air tawar. Maka dengan ini pengeluaran benih yang mencukupi adalah amat
perlu supaya industri ini dapat berkembang sejajar dengan keperluan negara
