Smart Safety Light is the title of the project Due to accidents at the junction therefore blinking hazard light came as idea. Basically it will display ‘STOP’ when motion detector at the left or right side of the main road detects any movement. The project uses orange LEDs because of its high brightness which suits the aim tobe caution to drivers. Infrared sensor (PIR) is use in order to delects motion. The project takes an inspiration from the original system which is traffic light and some modifications have been made such as displaying ‘STOP’ instead of regular traffic light and will only be display when motion is detected. The system is very effective because it does not need high power consumption or required monitoring of worker except when the maintenance work which is few times a year. The project uses batteries as a main power supply which in 5-12V range

The distances of hesitant fuzzy to solve MCDM problems by using VIKOR Method / Muhammad Faiz Zul Haziq Mohd Farish, Shazawani Shariff and Nurul Nadia Farhana Amran
VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenja (VIKOR) has been used to interpret distinct types of multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problems in crisp and fuzzy sets. There are many researchers have used this method since it provides the best alternatives by examining differ scopes and weights of the criteria. MCDM usually refers to make decision for problems that have conflicting criteria. This problem frequently happened in daily life. In this paper, we focus on solving MCDM problems by using three different distances in the hesitant fuzzy set, which are Hesitant Normalized Manhattan distance, Hesitant Normalized Hamming distance and Hesitant Normalized Euclidean distance. We proposed the VIKOR method to solve the ranking in MCDM problems. Firstly, we determine the decision makers' risk preferences to extend the length of the shorter Hesitant Fuzzy Element. After that, we calculate the three distances by using the extended Hesitant Fuzzy decision matrix. Next, the distances are then applied to the VIKOR method to compare the ranking of multi-criteria decision making (MCDM). Later, the optimal solution of the MCDM problems can be obtained if the conditions have been fulfilled. The results from two examples of secondary data obtained shows that Hesitant Normalized Manhattan distance and Hesitant Normalized Hamming distance produce reliable solution to solve MCDM problems
ILMU MUKHTALIF AL-HADIS DAN METODE PENYELESAIAN HADIS MUKHTALIF
Hadis Nabi Muhammad Saw menduduki nomor urut yang kedua didalam sumber
informasi tentang hukum Islam.
yang belum dijelaskan didalam Al-Qur’an.
perilaku Nabi Muhammad SAW. Sebagai utusan Allah SWT. seperti yang telah
diterangkan di dalam Al-Qur’an : “Dan tidaklah Yang diucapkannya itu (al-Qur’an)
menurut kemauan Hawa nafsunya. (Ucapannya itu) tiada lain hanyalah Wahyu yang
diwahyukan kepadanya”. (QS. AnNajm : 3-4).
An Introductory Study of Ijtihad Al-Rasool ﷺ by Nadia Sharif Al-Omari
The biography of the Prophet ﷺ is a subject that has been extensively written about since the first century of Hijra, continues to be written about today, and will undoubtedly remain a topic of scholarly and devotional interest in the future. This subject holds religious, academic, historical, and contemporary significance, prompting Muslim scholars of every era to contribute to its exploration. Alongside men, women have also engaged in writing on this subject to express their devotion and love for the Prophet ﷺ. From ancient to modern times, women have played their part in this field, and while their contributions are fewer in comparison to men, their numbers are steadily increasing in modern times. Women have also explored various aspects of the Prophet's ﷺ biography in the Arabic language. One notable work in this context is "Ijtihad Al-Rasool" authored by Nadia Sharif Al-Omari. This book uniquely combines the principles of Islamic jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh) with the life of the Prophet ﷺ, analyzing whether the Prophet ﷺ engaged in ijtihad (independent reasoning). The author meticulously presents evidence supporting her conclusion that the Prophet ﷺ did indeed engage in ijtihad. This article provides a research-based and analytical study of her book. It begins by discussing the biographical details of the author, followed by an introduction to the book. Subsequently, the writing style of the author and the nuanced insights within her work are critically examined. Finally, the findings and recommendations of the study are presented.
Colorimetric Detection of Heavy Metal Ions Using Green Synthesized Silver Nanoparticles from Kaempferia Galanga Rhizomes Extract
Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) is a vast developing area of research due to its cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness. In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were rapidly synthesized by treating silver ion (Ag+ ion) through a simple and green route using Kaempferia galanga rhizome extract which can act simultaneously as a reductant and stabilizer. The colour of AgNPs solutions were observed and UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to validate the presence of AgNPs in the solution. The result shows that 4% (w/v) of plant extract, 0.01 M concentration of silver nitrate (AgNO3), 72 hours incubation time and 1:3 ratio of plant extract to AgNO3 are the most suitable concentration where the colour of solution change from pale yellow to dark brown and UV-Vis spectroscopy showed a peak in the range of 400-500 nm which is the typical absorption spectrum of AgNPs. Then, characterization of AgNPs was done using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) where a spherical shape can be seen and more than 58 % weight of silver particles were detected to be in the solution. The synthesized AgNPs were used for colorimetric detection of 12 types of heavy metal ions, namely Mn2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, Co2+, Fe3+, Fe2+, Al3+, Cr3+, Cd2+, Pb2+, Hg2+, and Cu2+ with 1 mM concentration and the results showed a colour discoloration ranging from brownish to greenish for Fe2+ while no obvious colour changes for other heavy metal ions. The UV-Vis spectra also show obvious peak changes for Fe2+, Fe3+ and Hg2+. Further testing was carried out to detect the sensitivity of the synthesize AgNPs towards the selected heavy metal ions in lower concentration. No obvious changes in colour of solution for all three heavy metal ions were observed but UV-Vis spectra shows that 0.4 mM was the lowest concentration that are able to be
detect by the AgNPs
Mineral Extraction in Bangladesh: Some Fundamental Reform Suggestions
This paper proposes some fundamental reforms of the way the extraction of minerals are managed in Bangladesh. It suggests a Mineral Management Initiative that consists of three components: (i) the creation of Mineral Oversight Committee, (ii) the establishment of a Mineral Revenue Program, and (iii) a comprehensive Mineral Capacity Building Program. The purpose of the Mineral Oversight Committee (MOC) would be to oversee all decisions of Petrobangla’s Board of Directors as well as to monitor all major transactions of Petrobangla, including especially the use of mineral revenues and royalties. The establishment of a Mineral Revenue Program (MRP) is proposed to ensure that the revenues and royalties from the extraction of Bangladesh’s minerals will accrue to all the people of Bangladesh, while a comprehensive Mineral Capacity Building Program (MCBP) would provide specialized resource and management training.Bangladesh, mineral extraction, natural gas, oil, management
Shortening harvest interval, reaping benefits? A study on harvest practices in oil palm smallholder farming systems in Indonesia
CONTEXT: Smallholders are responsible for a large share of global palm oil production. Yet, in Indonesia, the main palm oil producing country, smallholders’ yields remain low. Better management practices, including short harvest interval (HI, the number of days between two harvest rounds), could help to raise smallholder yields. However, at present, HI is long in smallholder fields and the drivers underlying this phenomenon are poorly understood. OBJECTIVE: We explored agronomic, socio-economic, and institutional factors that underlie harvesting practices in independent oil palm smallholder farming systems in Indonesia to assess scope for sustainable intensification through shorter HI and reduced harvest losses. METHODS: Combining methods from agronomy and anthropology, we followed harvest interval of 950 farmers in six representative locations across Indonesia via farmer diaries over a period of two years to establish a correlation with yield. To quantify this relationship, we conducted post-harvest field measurements, and to explain which underlying factors impact HI we did qualitative interviews and surveys. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS: The HI of smallholders in our study ranged from 10 to 39 days (average: 17-d). Half of the farmers followed long HI (>16-d). Key factors impacting HI include annual fresh fruit bunch (FFB) yield, total palm area per farmer, trusted labor availability, plantation accessibility, and FFB price. Farmers responded to low yield by prolonging HI to increase labor productivity and optimize labor and transportation costs. SIGNIFICANCE: This study contributes to a better understanding of the relation between HI and yield in smallholder farming systems, by uncovering how socio-economic and institutional factors sometimes override agronomic considerations. Long HI can potentially lead to harvest loss from loose fruits and missed bunches, and reduce oil quality from overripe bunches. However, to obtain the benefits of shorter HI requires collective action and incentives along the supply chain to streamline the harvest and sale process.Fil: de Vos, Rosanne.
