Pin’SZ is a partnership business owned by Nurizzati Binti Azar Firdaus and Syaza Binti Soaib. Before we start the business, we register with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), Go-Ecommerce and MyENT certificate. Without this registration, our business would be categorised as non-legal business, so it is very important, especially for those who want to start a business. We use social media platforms, like Facebook, to promote our information so that everyone is aware of Pin’SZ's business. The exact day that we introduce our business on Facebook by publishing the teaser post is 8th June 2022. This business sells ‘petite’ but strong magnetic pins that go well with trendy accessories. Our magnetic pins are available in a variety of colours, shapes, and sizes. From basic shapes to flower designs that will capture the attention and heart of our customers. Additionally, magnetic pins also can be fashionable and enhance a person’s appearance while they are wearing a hijab. Our magnetic pins are not expensive and are affordable to everyone. We put two pins for RM10 and let them choose the designs and colours. In general, our target market consists of women, teenagers, or people looking for a gift for a loved one or a self-reward for themself. It truly depends on their preferences and purposes. We are also focusing on women’s issues concerning their precious hijabs. The most common issues that a woman faces are when her hijab is not really secure in its place, their hijabs are ruined by normal needle pins as they leave a hole when you constantly poke it at the same place leaving a huge and thorn hijab, and it is difficult to find a suitable pin to match with their outfit. Therefore, it is our primary reason why we want to introduce this business to the precious ladies out there because we want to help women in these types of dilemmas and possibly solve it. We are sure that our business is well known by everyone and the demand of our product increases day by day

Handling stockist management was difficult because it had to be done quickly and effectively, however, the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the entire journey. Every work taught me a lot, and I learned fresh skills and knowledge as a result. It has been an interesting adventure since my managers entrusted me with a real job and complete control of the stockists. Throughout this report, it includes the task I did throughout the internship, analyzing the company’s SWOT and did some research on how to make improvement in each of the SWOT elements with some recommendations. The SWOT analysis covers the most important information about the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Finally, during the internship period, I got the opportunity to experience various events that are joined by Tudungruffle. Hence, from those events, I did observations and made connections with new people to expose myself to this working world. The aim of microfinance is to help the poor and lower income group to get funds for their business activities and to improve their lives. Usually, the loans given are very small, in short term period, no collateral needed and required weekly repayment. However, repayment problems become the main obstacle for the microfinance institutions to continue providing microcredit services. Therefore, this paper tries to review the repayment problem of microcredit services offer by Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) in Melaka and what factor contribute to this repayment problem. This is important to make sure that any problem regarding repayment problem can be settled at the early stage to reduce the number of non-performing loan in BSN Melaka. To get this information, I make an in-depth interview with manager and staff of BSN Melaka. Close monitoring of and a close relationship with borrowers appear to be important for early detection of any problem. Another aspect that may be important is building up loyalty and developing reliability among members. A close and informal relationship with borrowers may also help in monitoring and early detection of problems that may arise in non-repayment of loans

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    No full text
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

The data collection was conducted at the Core Zone, one of the two zones in the MWHS. According to the research methodology, to avoid any ICH neglected, 100% of the building use was surveyed and inventoried. The total number of buildings in the Core Zone area is 815. The major findings are; (1) ICH in Melaka World Heritage Site is threatened, and there are ten (10) major issues occurred in management of the ICH on behalf of state parties. The purpose of this paper is to explore the benefits of implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation in the construction industry. Building Information Modelling (BIM) has emerged as a revolutionary technology in the construction industry, transforming the way projects are designed, constructed, and managed. This abstract explores the numerous benefits of BIM implementation in the construction industry. BIM facilitates the creation and management of a digital representation of a building or infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, enabling improved collaboration, enhanced visualization, and efficient decision-making. The construction industry in Malaysia faces challenges in BIM adoption due to lack of consensus, cultural barriers, cost concerns, technological obstacles, and limited case studies. The adoption rate is low, and cost is the primary challenge. The industry is still in its early stages, with traditional processes preferred and interoperability issues affecting BIM implementation. Technological barriers, such as hardware and software risks, resistance to change, and investment in training, further impede BIM adoption. A survey by the Construction Industry Development Board revealed that only 17% of Malaysian construction industry respondents had experience with BIM. Addressing these challenges and promoting BIM diffusion within construction organizations is crucial for successful BIM adoption in Malaysia
