No full textThe industrial training of BA240 program for the semester of March – August 2024 is six months starting from 1st March – 9th August 2024. The industrial training was at the Retail Space and Non-Resident Management Unit in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Permatang Pauh, Pulau Pinang.
From the training, I was able to gain experience by completing tasks given besides working with staff in the office. The tasks given were very helpful to be good at critical thinking and work competently. The staff was also very friendly and always ready to guide me upon completing the tasks.
Besides, throughout the industrial training, I was learned to develop communication skills among the staff and with the top-level management staff. The skills of conveying a message clearly and listening attentively to obtain the right instructions were able to be developed and enhanced.
Moreover, working in an organization allowed me to learned the importance of great teamwork. Great teamwork is formed when everyone in the team understands their roles and can implement the roles or responsibilities with full commitment. Teamwork also requires tolerance and consideration among the team members to make the given specific task a success.
Lastly, I also acknowledge that time management is an important lesson learned during industrial training. It is a need to manage time well by planning to ensure all tasks are done and nothing can be missed. This is essential for high productivity and to be able to perform excellently even in hectic working surroundings

Al-Quran is a gift to all human beings, even linguists cannot edit the verses of Al-Quran because they are unique. In addition, through strong religious beliefs can also form good morals and personality. Religious life is also called piety which is the highest level as a Muslim. It is achieved through the practice and appreciation of high religion based on true understanding. However, lately there have been many crime incidents and social symptoms that have occurred among young people and religious people, especially in Kelantan. This study aims to identify the relationship between the appreciation of Islamic studies among the youth of Kelantan and the occurrence of social problems by using a geographical information system (GIS). The basis of learning and mastery begins with the study of the Quran. Al-Quran is very important because it serves as a guide in everyone's life. However, the level of appreciation can also be influenced by the environment. This study involved 250 respondents covering all districts in Kelantan. Questionnaires are distributed through social media such as WhatsApp and Telegram. As for the crime case report data, it is used in this study for the purpose of detecting crime hotspots in an area. The results of the study show a positive relationship between the appreciation of Islamic studies and social problems. Population location distribution maps and hotspot maps are also produced
Entrepreneurial attributes and the mediating role of psychological capital on entrepreneurial intention among hospitality students in Malaysian public higher education institutions (PHEIS) / Nur Azah Farhana Mohamed Fadzil
Get PDFStrengthening entrepreneurship education by cultivating entrepreneurial values to enhance the marketability of graduates is considered relevant as a strategy to improve the employability of hospitality students in public higher learning. Aligned with the issues, the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education has endorsed entrepreneurship education in all higher education institutions as an initiative to encourage students to enrol in entrepreneurship courses and activities. Therefore, this study investigates entrepreneurial attributes and the mediating role of psychological capital on entrepreneurial intention among Malaysian hospitality students. A quantitative study was implemented via an online survey in five (5) Malaysia's Public Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs), which then resulted in a final sample of 297 respondents. An established self-completed questionnaire was collected. Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) software was used to analyse the obtained data structuring through probability sampling, using a simple random sampling technique. This study indicated that the dimensions of entrepreneurial attributes and psychological capital significantly influence students' entrepreneurial intention. Findings also revealed that psychological capital as the positive psychological development of an individual allows education providers to ensure students obtain the necessary attributes to function effectively. This verifies that psychological capital affects individuals in learning entrepreneurship, which can be emphasised by the PHEIs in preparing the students to be more confident for future entrepreneurial careers

As a computation and learning paradigm, they are presented as a different modeling approach to solve complicated problems. They have been used to solve complicated practical problems in various areas, such as accounting and business, engineering, medical and healthcare, geological and energy. They have also been applied for modeling, identification, prediction and forecasting. ANN have been extensively employed in numerous fields. They are not programmed in the conventional procedure but they are trained using data exemplifying the behavior of a system. This paper presents various applications of neural networks used in various studies. The applications of neural networks could be grouped in three major categories: (1) designing and modeling; (2) identification and evaluation and (3) prediction and control. Published literature presented in this study indicate the potential of ANN as a useful tool in various discipline for many industries. This paper will be very much useful to the researchers and professionals to find out the relevant references related to ANN and current studies related to it
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
