Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textAnglická anotace The theological work of Jan Valerian Jirsík Jan Hamberger This thesis deals with the theological work of the Czech 19th century author Jan Valerián Jirsík (1798-1883). Its first part consists of an introduction into the Czech historical context of the 19th century and the life of the author. Its second part presents a survey of the literary-theological work of Jirsík in three life phases: the first phase is demarked by his activity as chaplain and vicar, the second phase by his editorial activity for Casopis pro katolické duchovenstvo (trans. Magazine for catholic clergy) and the last phase by his pontifical years in the diocese of Southern Bohemia. His literary work is divided by theme into various periods, shortly described and characterized. The last and major section of this thesis deals with the most comprehensive and renown work of Jan Valerián Jirsík - Populární dogmatika (trans. Popular doctrine). This pivotal work of theologian Jirsík is discussed at large and analyzed by tractate, both apologetic and dogmatic. The main emphasis is given on the concept of sacrifice - the study analyzes comparisons of Jan Palach to archetypes of Jesus Christ and young martyrs. She deals with comparison of Palach to Jan Hus and analyzes Palach's funeral as a part of tradition of Czech public funerals - quiet national demonstrations. Analytická část obsahuje geografickou, demografickou, ekologickou a socio-ekonomickou analýzu mikroregionu a jeho vybavenost sociální a technickou infrastrukturou. Výsledky šetření jsou transformovány do SWOT analýzy. Stěžejní projektová část obsahuje na základě teoretických poznatků a provedených analýz vizi a strategické cíle mikroregionu, které jsou dále rozvrženy do opatření a dvou projektů.The diploma thesis called Development project of the micro-region Novy Dvur is focused on strategic planning and strategic management that are used for implementation of the projects and programmes of the micro-region development. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts: The first part is theoretical one and it deals with the regional policy theory, analytical methods to find out a potential of the area and strategic management tools. The analytical part contains geographical, demographical, environmental and social and economic analyses of the micro-region and data concerning social and technical infrastructure. The results of investigation are presented in the SWOT analysis. No full textCílem předložené diplomové práce je analyzovat možné ohrožení území Nový Jičín se zaměřením na mimořádnou událost s únikem chladicího media amoniaku z jednotlivých zimních stadionů. Teoretická část práce se zaobírá základními pojmy, příslušnou legislativou, analýzou a hodnocením rizika závažné havárie, nebezpečnými chemickými látkami a přípravkami, haváriemi nebezpečných látek a jejich vlivem na životní prostředí. Dále analyzuje havarijní plány a zimní stadiony. Praktická část je zaměřena na obecnou charakteristiku a analýzu území Nový Jičín a v něm vybraných měst. Experiment je zaměřen na modelování úniku zmíněné nebezpečné látky pomocí softwarového programu TerEx. V práci je dále uveden výsledek průzkumu informovanosti obyvatelstva v okolí daných zimních stadionů, navržen list typové činnosti integrovaného záchranného systému pro jednotky požární techniky a pro velitele zásahu. V neposlední řadě zhodnocení skutečností a navržení opatření na eliminaci rizik.The aim of this thesis is to analyze the possible threat for Novy Jicin region. It is focused at extraordinary incident due to the coolant leak of ammonia from the winter stadiums. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts, the relevant legislation, risk assessment and analysis of fatal accident, dangerous chemical substances and preparations. This thesis explains accidents cause by dangerous substances and their effects on the environment. It analyzes emergency plans and winter stadiums. The practical part is focused to characteristics and analysis region of Novy Jicin and its selected towns in general The experiment is focused on modeling the release of that dangerous substance. A software program TerEx is used for this purpose. The paper also shows the result of public survey how are inhabitants in the surroundigs of the stadium informed. The list of type aktivity of integrated rescue system for the fire equipment and for its commander is proposed as well. Last but not lest, the evaluation of the facts and proposed measures how to eliminate risks are involved in this thesis.Ústav chemieobhájen
