Fenomena Celebritism di Twitter, Analisis Semiotika Trending Topic (Dibimbing oleh Muh Nadjib dan Muhammad Farid) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena pemanfaatan Twitter di Indonesia dan untuk menganalisis trend celebritism dalam pemanfaatan Twitter. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil capture Trending Topic selama dua bulan. Objek penelitian yakni status yang mengandung celebritism pada trending topic yang ada di Twitter. Metodologi penelitian ini bersifat eksplanatif Data primer dikumpulkan dengan mengcapture teks Trending Topic di Twitter selama masa penelitian dan data sekunder dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka dan observasi. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan dipaparkan secara kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Twitter di Indonesia memang ramai digunakan, sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup atau life style masyarakat urban namun kurang informatif dan merepresentasikan eksistensi dan citra diri (virtual identity) di dalamnya. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap bahwa Trend Celebritism dalam pemanfaatan Twitter tergambarkan dari besarnya presentasi keberadaan status-status trending topic kategori non informatif dibandingkan dengan kategori informatif. Banyaknya status non informatif didominasi oleh teks-teks kehampaan, konsumerisme, idola dan selebriti, yang muncul dari budaya yang dilatari oleh globalisasi, media massa, modernitas, determinisme teknologi dan semiokapitalisme. (C) Halaman : vii+83 (D) Kata kunci : Kecelakaan Pesawat, Hukum Pengangkutan (E) Isi : Pada tanggal 5 September 2005, pesawat Mandala Airlines dengan nomor penerbangan 091 mengalami kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan kematian 100 orang yang terdiri dari penumpang dan awak pesawat, serta 49 orang dari area lokasi jatuhnya pesawat. Sebanyak 41 orang penumpang dan masyarakat di lokasi kejadian juga menderita luka-luka sebagai akibat kecelakaan pesawat Mandala 091 dan kebakaran setelah jatuhnya pesawat. Para penggugat sebagai korban kecelakaan Mandala 091 tetap mengajukan tuntutan kepada Boeing Company walaupun pihak Mandala Airlines sebagai pengangkut telah memberikan ganti kerugian kepada korban. Gugatan yang diajukan adalah gugatan perbuatan melawan hukum. Para penggugat mendalilkan bahwa tergugat telah lalai dan produk yang dihasilkan oleh Boeing Company memiliki cacat produk. Apakah Putusan Nomor 187/Pdt.G/2009/PN. JKT.PST dalam kasus Suhendro Cs. V. Boeing Company sesuai dengan sistem hukum penerbangan Indonesia? Penulis meneliti masalah tersebut dengan menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan didukung hasil wawancara sebagai data tambahan. Dalam Putusan Nomor 187/Pdt.G/2009/PN. JKT.PST Majelis Hakim telah menerapkan prinsip tanggung jawab berdasarkan kesalahan sehingga hal ini tidak sesuai dengan prinsip tanggung jawab mutlak yang terdapat dalam sistem hukum penerbangan Indonesia maupun prinsip praduga bertanggung jawab (presumption liability) dengan pembuktian terbalik yang terdapat pada undang-undang perlindungan konsumen. pelayanan terhadap pemohon dengan sebaik-baiknya. Akan tetapi proses
pengolahan data pelanggan masih secara manual dimana staff bagian pelayanan
pelanggan menginput data pemohon dengan menggunakan kertas sehingga
memperlambat dalam pengelolaan data maupun dalam pembuatan laporan.
Aplikasi layanan pemasangan listrik baru berbasis dekstop pada PT PLN (Persero)
AREA PAMEKASAN PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR dibuat menggunakan alat
permodelan perancangan sistem yang penulis gunakan adalah flowmap, diagram
konteks, data flow diagram (DFD), dan kamus data sedangkan alat yang digunakan
untuk perancangan basis data adalah normalisasi, relasi tabel dan entity relationship
diagram (ERD). Perangkat lunak pendukung yang penulis gunakan adalah
Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 dan Microsoft SQL Server 2014. Aplikasi layanan
pemasangan listrik baru berbasis dekstop yang dibangun merupakan solusi yang
diharapkan agar dapat mempermudah dalam proses pengolahan data pemohon,
tidak adanya kesalahan dalam perhitungan biaya pasang baru listrik dan
memudahkan dalam pembuatan laporan serta menghindari keterlambatan
penyampaian laporan dan kehilangan data.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

A novel is a literary work created by an author through his feelings and understanding of human life's problems. This novel tells the story of a character named Santiago; even though he is old and lives alone, he still has a strong determination. This study is conducted to get a description in line with the resiliency of an old fisherman with some values that make him have bravery and integrity.
This research analyzes, how is the reflection of Santiago’s live values in The Old Man and the Sea?
This research was designed using the library research method. Data collection is carried out through observation and documentation. The material collected is in the form of empirical data sourced from books, journals, results of official and scientific research reports, and other literature supporting this research's theme. Readliterature as a reference to find information. When reading research material, readers must dig deeper into it to find new ideas related to the research title. By making and processing the research notes. All material that have been read, is then processed or analyzed to obtain a conclusion of thes a research report. The author uses content analysis to analyze sentences from the novel The Old Man and the Sea to get an idea of Santiago's life values.
The results of this research show that with life values, a person will have good and accurate guidance in facing all obstacles and challenges in life. A person who has life values will be more focused in living his life. Santiago has a different life from others, and everyone has values. Some values that exist in every human life include social, cultural, religious, psychological, and educational values. Those who maintain these values will be able to give meaning to their lives. And inspires someone to focus on positive thinking. This role reflects Santiago's life values in The Old Man and the Sea. Santiago can apply these five life values, and as human beings, people should keep themselves with good things, such as cooperation, helping each other, making friends with other people, and helping others. And hinders one from thinking about others and creates positive vibes
