The research that the author conducted aims to determine the moral intelligence of students at the State Elementary School 1 Benteng Ciamis, to determine the efforts of teachers to develop the moral intelligence of students at the State Elementary School 1 Benteng Ciamis, to find out the obstacles in developing the moral intelligence of students at the State Elementary School 1 Benteng Ciamis. The research method used in writing is a qualitative approach. Qualitative research (Qualitative research) is a study aimed at describing and analyzing phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually and in groups. The collection technique carried out by the author is observation, interviews, documentation.
The results show that education is an effort to improve the quality of the young generation of a nation that can bring positive changes in the functions and goals of individuals to national. In line with the purpose of implementing education, it is not only to give birth to an expert in a particular field, but education is strived to make everyone have good character and behavior so that he always places himself in an environment of society, nation and state in accordance with existing rules and norms (Utami et al., 2017).This research was conducted at SDN 1 Benteng for grade VI students on January 6- 20 January 2020. The data collected in this study was from a student's moral intelligence questionnaire, and student learning outcomes in the form of test scores in April of the 2019/2020 school year in five subjects. The students' main subjects are PKN, Indonesian Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences. Research results that have been obtained by researchers are described in detail for each variable. The discussion of variables is carried out using qualitative data, meaning that the processed data is in the form of numbers or scores which are then interpreted qualitatively. Variable data that will be described in this study are (1) variable data A, namely moral intelligence and (2) variable data B, namely learning outcomes.

Vocabulary is basic element to learn a language and to make a communication with another people. It is impossible to learn English if students are lack of vocabulary. In the contras, the students’ vocabulary at SMP Negeri 01 Sungkai Selatan was still low, and to solve this problem the writer used Personal Vocabulary Notes (PVN) technique. Personal Vocabulary Notes is planning for making students work in a group in improving their vocabulary. PVN is planning for making students work in a group in improving their vocabulary. Then, in this research, the objective there was significant influence of using PVNtoward students’ vocabulary mastery at the first semester of the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 01 Sungkai Selatan in 2020/2021 academic year.
The methodology of this research was quasi experimental design. The writer did three steps in conducting this research: pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The population of this research was the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 01 Sungkai Selatan. The sample of this research was chosen by doing cluster random sampling technique. The sample consisted of two classes, one as a experimental class and another class as a control class. The treatments were held in three meetings 2x40 minutes for each meeting. The design used pre-test and post-test to find out students’ vocabulary test. After giving the post-test, the writer analyzed the data by using independent samples test.
Based on the statistical analysis, there wasa significant influence of using the PVN Techniquetowards students’ vocabulary mastery in the narrative text at the first semester of the tenth grade of SMP Negeri 01 Sungkai Selatan in the academic year 2020/2021. The significant influence can be seen from Sig. (2- tailed) of the equal variance assumed in the paired sample test table where the Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.142. It was higher than α=0.05 and it means that Ho is rejected and Hα is accepted.

The Effect Of Using Logan Avenue Problem Solving Heuristic Learning Model On Students’ Reading Achievement
No full textThe objective of this study was to investigate the effect of using logan avenue
problem solving heuristic learning model on students’ reading achievement. This
research was conducted at SMA Negeri 21 Medan, Jl. Kramat Indah Kecamatan
Medan Denai, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara in the academic year 2019/2020. An
experimental research design in the descriptive quantitative method applied in this
research. By using simple random sampling two classes, X IPA 1 and X IPS 1
were chosen as the sample. The experimental class, X IPS 1 with 34 students was
taught by using logan avenue problem solving heuristic learning model, and 34
students in X IPA 1 as the control class was taught by using conventional model.
The data obtain were analyzed by using t- test formula. The result of data analysis
showed that ( 2.27) was greater than was (1.998) at α = 0.05
and dk = 66. It mean that based on the fact final hypothesis that H was rejected
and H was accepted. It concluded that there was a significant effect of using logan
avenue problem solving heuristic learning model on students’ reading
achievement
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
