No full textKajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti konseptual Norsiah Abdul Gapar yang terdapat dalam tiga puluh dua cerpen yang diterbitkan sepanjang 1984 sehingga 2012. Semua cerpen ini merupakan cerpen-cerpen yang diterbitkan dalam antologi cerpen Hidup Ibarat Sungai (1987), antologi cerpen Bunga Rampai Sastera Melayu Brunei (1984), antologi cerpen Awan Putih Berarak Damai (1988), Kumpulan cerpen Tsunami Di Hatinya (2009) dan lima buah cerpen dalam majalah Bahana terbitan Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Brunei sepanjang tahun 2010 sehingga 2012. Teori Konseptual – Kata Kunci yang diperkenalkan oleh Mohamad Mokhtar Abu Hassan telah diaplikasikan dalam kajian ini. Dengan menerapkan Teori Konseptual - Kata Kunci ini, sebanyak 32 cerpen dianalisis untuk mengenal pasti konseptual Norsiah Abdul Gapar berhubung dengan konsep kemiskinan dan konsep perjuangan. Hasil daripada kajian yang dijalankan, membuktikan bahawa pengaruh penghasilan karya-karya Norsiah Abdul Gapar itu dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang Norsiah Abdul Gapar terutamanya dalam perkara-perkara yang berhubung dengan konsep kemiskinan dan konsep perjuangan. Dalam konsep kemiskinan, bentuk kemiskinan itu dikaitkan dengan kemiskinan yang berbentuk fizikal. Manakala, dalam konsep perjuangan, perjuangan itu dikaitkan dengan perjuangan kaum wanita. Justeru itu, konseptual Norsiah Abdul Gapar itu banyak dipengaruhi oleh unsur-unsur ekstrinsik seperti latar belakangnya, pendidikan, budaya, kerjayanya, kepercayaannya, pengamatannya, ideologinya dan sudut pandangannya sebagai seorang penulis wanita. Secara kesimpulannya, teori Konseptual - Kata Kunci ini berjaya menganalisis konseptual Norsiah Abdul Gapar melalui karya-karyanya

Effects of Listening to Al Kauthar Verse on Brain Physiology
Get PDFThis paper investigates the outcomes of a preliminary research brainwaves reaction when listening to Al-Khauthar. Quantitative electroencephalogram machine (EEG) was used to observe and record the brainwave activities while listening to Al- Khauthar. Findings shows that the dominant brainwave during listening to Al- Khauthar is Delta with 27.97 MV . In addition, the findings obtained from the data collected; it show that all brain regions which are Prefrontal, Frontal,Occipital, Post-central, Parietal and Temporal lobe are involved. Delta waves helped to stimulate the growth hormone and repair the brain cells or tissues. To conclude, listening to Al- Khauthar brought about calmness and relaxation to body and mind. Listening to the verse might stimulates the production of growth hormone and melatonin that control our sleep and wake up activites and consequently our relaxation
Unsur Dendam Watak Wanita Dalam Novel `Misyar` Karya Norsiah Abd Gapar
Get PDFNaratif seperti novel menjadi hambar tanpa adnya konflik. Konflik berperanan untuk menggerakkan plot dan jalan cerita sesebuah karya. Karya novel pasti mengandungi pelbagai konflik yang ingin dikemukakan oleh penulis. Konflik-konflik tersebut terhasil daripada perilaku watak-watak di dalam sesbuah novel. Dalam novel Misyar (2018) karya Norsiah Abd Gapar mengemukakan konflik yang tercetus daripada watak-watak utama. Watak-watak utama tersebut adalah golongan wanita yang memiliki unsur dendam. Akibat menyimpan dendam wata-watak utama wanita ini menonjolkan keperibadian yang tidak wajar. Oleh yang demikian, kajian ini akan meneliti unsur dendam watak-watak utama wanita yang mendorong berkeperibadian demikian yang menjadikan konflik sehingga menjadi tunjang dalam menggerakkan plot novel Misyar (2018). Unsur-unsur dendam ini berhubung kait dengan keperibadian indivegou termasuklah watak-watak utama wanita dalam novel ini. Justeru, kajian ini sesuai untuk mengaplikasikan pendekatan psikologi dikemukakan Sigmund Freud iaitu psikoanalisis. Pendekatan psikoanalisis Freud ini memperlihatkan peringkat peringkat dorongan iaitu ego, ego dan superego terhadap tindakan indivegou. Berdasarkan peringkat-peringkat ini konflik-konflik berpunca dari unsur dendam watak utama wanita dalam novel ini juga akan diperbincangkan. Hasil kajian ini merumuskan adanya perkaitan di antara kedua-dua unsur dendam watak utama wanita dan diakhiri dengan kesan yang berlainan. Sekaligus, novel Misyar (2018) merupkan karya Norsiah Abd Gapar yang berbeza daripd karya-krya seblumnya kerana novel ini tidak menampilkan mendepankan hak golongan wanita.

A study on public awareness of VSAT service from TM / Norsiah Santong

One major problem among the members of such groups is the long term lack of awareness of the activities in remote sites. In this paper we discuss the importance of awareness in distributed product development projects. I am zooming down the product to TMVSAT a satellite product provided by Telekom Malaysia as a product that involved in this paper. TMVSAT is "Telekom Malaysia Very Small Aperture Terminal" and the term refers to any fixed satellite terminal that is used to provide interactive or receive-only communications. VSATs are used for a wide variety of telecommunications applications, including corporate networks, rural telecom, distance learning, telemedicine, disaster recovery, board communications, transportable "fly-away" systems, and much more. VSATs are becoming increasingly popular, because they are a single, flexible communications platform that can be installed quickly and cost effectively to provide telecom solutions for consumers, governments and corporations. They have been in use for more than 10 years and, with more than 500,000 systems operating in more than 120 countries, VSATs are a mature and proven technology. TMVSAT networks provide rapid, reliable satellite transmission of data, voice, and video to an unlimited number of geographically dispersed sites or from these sites to headquarters. User with a satellite network, there are no routers and no switches - nothing between the user and the source of the information, except the sky. There are no physical limitations in terms of geography or distance to make deployment difficult or too expensive
Design and development of noise detector at hangar aircraft training organisation / Norsiah Sukardy
Get PDFHearing problem is one of the most common disabilities among personnel at hangar. They are exposure to high noise from the aircraft engine, ground power unit (gpu), auxiliary power unit (apu), machinery, towing vehicles and rivet machine. Many of the posts have high noise levels, and particular ratings have high exposure. These are especially for the peak level of sound emission. If results of higher risk can be identified, then prevention precaution can be focused. Duty as technician, skill students, instructors, engineers and pilot ratings are at high risk for hearing loss, this study looked at medical hearing test records for nearly 100,000 enlisted AM personnel over the period of 2004 to 2017. Investigation on these matter have been done by doing analysis and study through survey and questionnaires . Collection of questionnaires from five (5) major hangar in Selangor are used to investigate the underlying hearing impairment. The design and development of Prototype Noise Detector has been created to assess the effect of this invention to reduce early hearing problems. Excessive hearing senses may persist and other problems due to noise can be overcome
