Desa Buruan, Kecamatan Penebel, Kabupaten Tabanan. Ritual ini sempat punah dan
direkonstruksi oleh Kader Pelestari Budaya Kabupaten Tabanan pada tahun 2014. Riset
dilakukan selama 4 tahun dan menghasilkan sebuah peniruan ritual Joged Nini dengan tahapan
ritual yang terdiri dari Mendak Duwasa Nini, Ngider Bhuana, Ngunggahang Duwasa Nini,
Mawewangsalan, Majejogedan, dan Anjali. Joged Nini adalah suatu perpaduan kesenian yang
harmonis dari penggunaan mantra, mudra, dan yantra, yang diaplikasikan dalam bentuk lagu
pengiring, gerak tari, dan penggunaan sarana upakara berupana Duwasa Nini. Pasca rekonstruksi,
terjadi kesenjangan antara ekspektasi dan realita dari hasil rekonstruksi tersebut. Pada realitanya
adalah hasil rekonstruksi ini tidak dapat berjalan sebagaimana yang diharapkan karena beberapa
faktor, tulisan ini akan mengamati ekspektasi dan realita Joged Nini dari kepercayaan
masyarakat, sistem mata pencaharian hidup, peralatan dan teknologi, kesenian, ilmu pengetahuan,
sistem kemasyarakatan dan organisasi sosial, dan upaya sosialisasi yang belum maksimal.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan tekhnik wawancara, studi
pustaka, dan dokumentasi, sehingga memunculkan pertanyaan “apa penyebab tidak
berkembangnya hasil rekonstruksi Joged Nini?”
