Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Loyalty at Young Insurance Company ( Nilar Win, 2025)
This study intends to analyze the service quality, customer satisfaction, and
customer loyalty at Young Insurance Company. The major goals of the research are to
explore the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction and to assess the effect
of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Young Insurance Company. To
accomplish these aims, the main data for this research are acquired from the responsible
people of Young Insurance Company’s customer and also from 85 respondents who claim Young Insurance Company’s goods by utilizing the structured questionnaires using a simple random sample technique. The secondary data were collected from published websites, journals, various magazines, previous researches and other online sources. According to the results of the regression analysis, timeliness, responsiveness, and empathy have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, while customer satisfaction strongly influences customer loyalty. reliability and assurance, though positively perceived, were found to have less impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Organizations should prioritize enhancing empathy, optimizing timeliness, and improving responsiveness to strengthen customer satisfaction and foster loyalty. By focusing on these strategic areas, organizations can build stronger customer relationships, increase policy renewals, and improve their market position in a competitive insurance industry
EDUCATION-JOB MISMATCH AND EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION (Ma Nilar Win, Nov, 2019)
The objectives of the study are to identify the education-job mismatch of employees and to analyze the effect of education-job mismatch on employee satisfaction of global treasure bank in down town area of Yangon. In this study, 160 graduated employees were selected by using convenience sampling method. This study was based on descriptive statistics method. And Pearson’s correlation analysis and regression analysis were used. This study includes two types of education-job mismatch as independent variables vertical mismatch and horizontal mismatch where dependent variable is employee job satisfaction. According to survey results, 75 of respondents out of 160 employees are facing with education-job mismatch. This study showed that there is negative relationship between education-job mismatch and employee job satisfaction. Vertical mismatch directs to dissatisfaction more than horizontal mismatch. When recruiting, company’s HR department should take a consideration for the relevant education of employees. Moreover, a graduated employee should select a job that fits with specialization of their degree to promote job satisfaction level.
Quantitatve Analysis of Forest Structure in the Middle Part of the Goktwin Area, Northern Shan State
The present study deals with the assessment of quantitative structure and
floristic composition of forest in Goktwin area, northern Shan State. A
total of 72 tree species representing 51 genera and 28 families were
analyzed in the study area. Importance Value Index (IVI), ShannonWiener
(H) index, Simpson (D) index, Shannon-Wiener evenness (E)
index were calculated. Shorea siamensis (Kurz.) Miq. (Ingyin) is found
to be one of the ecologically dominant species contributing highest (IVI)
(24.82%) with relative density (6.74%), relative frequency (3.25%), and
relative dominance (14.83%). The diversity indices of Shannon-Wiener
(H) and Simpson (D) value for tree species were 5.401, 0.965, shrubs
were 3.062, 0.828, and herbs were 4.228, 0.931 respectively. ShannonWiener
evenness (E) index for trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants were
0.875, 0.804 and 0.90. All the diversity indices pointed out that the study
site is floristically high diverse
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
PERSONALIZED TRAVEL RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM BY USING USER-BASED COLLABORATIVE FILTERING METHOD
The huge amount of data in mobile business processes and physical limitations have increased the importance of personalization process. Recommendation system can aid users in discovering information or items in a personalized manner. Personalization constitutes tailoring a service or a product to accommodate specific individuals. The users are flooded with so much of choices that it is hard for them to find appropriate and suitable information in tourism field. Personalized travel recommendation system can help customers in travel planning because it may be so complicated and confusing to process a lot of information on the travel sites. Collaborative filtering method compares the user’s past ratings with those of other users (neighbors) to find users with similar preferences. Highly rated items by these neighbors will be recommended. In this research, the system suggests personalized travel locations to users based on their rating profiles and interests by using user-based collaborative filtering method
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
