Sesuai dengan aturan dinas jaga yang telah ditetapkan di atas kapal,
berdasarkan Collision Regulation 1972, STCW 1978 as amended in 2010
Regulation II/1, semua kapal wajib melaksanakan tugas jaga tersebut tanpa
terkecuali. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya tubrukan.
Keberhasilan pelayaran sampai di tempat tujuan dengan selamat tanpa mengalami
kecelakaan dan tepat waktu sangat tergantung kepada kemampuan dan kinerja
sumber daya manusia di atas kapal, khususnya perwira yang melaksanakan dinas
jaga.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur pelaksanaan dinas jaga
sesuai dengan aturan-aturan Collision Regulation 1972 dan Regulation II/1 dari
STCW 1978 as amended in 2010. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif yang
mengahasilkan data deskriptif, pelaksanaan dinas jaga dapat digambarkan secara
jelas dan nyata karena data diperoleh dari interview secara langsung serta
ditunjang metode kepustakaan yang memberikan gambaran lebih jelas mengenai
informasi yang disampaikan.
Hasil yang didapat penulis selama melakukan penelitian adalah pelaksanaan
dinas jaga di kapal yang belum terlaksana dengan baik. Masih adanya
penyimpangan prosedur dinas jaga sehingga kegiatan tugas jaga tidak berjalan
efektif. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang prosedur serah terima dinas jaga menurut
aturan internasional juga menjadi masalah utama bagi para awak kapal.
Pembahasan terhadap hasil penelitian adalah pelaksanaan tugas jaga yang harus
benar-benar diaplikasikan sesuai dengan STCW 1978 as amended in 2010. Selain
itu, penyampaian prosedur serah terima tugas jaga yang baik oleh perwira senior
juga menjadi salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki pelaksanaan dinas jaga.
Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tugas jaga di
atas kapal MV. DK02 telah sesuai dengan peraturan yang ditetapkan secara
internasional, namun dalam pelaksanaannya masih sering terjadi penyimpangan.
Hal ini dapat terjadi karena kekurangpahaman crew kapal terutama bagian deck
mengenai prosedur serah terima dinas jaga yang baik menurut aturan
internasional. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan peningkatan kualitas dinas jaga para
crew dengan memberikan informasi mengenai prosedur serah terima tugas jaga
yang benar sesuai dengan STCW 1978 as amended in 2010.

According to the Collision Regulation 1972,the STCW 1978 as amended in
2010 Regulation I/I, all vessels shall establish watchkeeping without exception.
This becomes an obligation to prevent collision between any vessels. A safe
voyage shall establish without any risk of collision depends on the ability and
performance of the human resources, especially officers who take the
watchkeeping.
The aim of this study is to find out procedure onf watchkeeping according to
the Collision Regulation 1972 and Regulation II/1 of the STCW 1978 as amended
in 2010. Qualitative research methods with a descriptive data result describing the
watchkeeping with a clear and real analysis. The data were obtained from a live
interview and supported by some literature which has large information.
Author find out that the watchkeeping implementation was not implemented
properly. There is still a lot of irregularities that happened in the watch so it
doesn’t work efficiently. A lot of crew has lack of knowledge about the procedure
based on international rules, it’s a big problem. The discussion in this study is
about the watchkeeping that should be allocated according to the STCW 1978 as
amended in 2010. In addition, a good submission of handover’s of watchkeeping
procedure is being one of the attempt to improve the implementation of
watchkeeping in the vessel.
The conclusion of this study is to indicate that the watchkeeping in vessel
MV. DK02 been appropriate with the international regulation, but there’s still a
little irregularity in its reality. It’s because of the lack of knowledge from the
crew, especially the deck crew about the handover’s of watchkeeping procedure
based on international regulation. Therefore, it’s necessary to make an
improvement in the crew’s duty by providing the information about the right
handover’s watch procedure based on STCW 1978 as amended in 2010

Effect of Salt Washing Process on Content and Iodium Stability of Salt. Salt washing process should increase the saltquality. It should clean the salt from sludge or clay and also reduce the impurity compound such as Mg, Ca and the reductorcontent. The objective of these reseach is to assess the effect of washing process on the content og hygroscopic impuritiescompound (Ca and Mg), and reductor content of salt. The research also investigate the water absorbing, pH, KIO3 contentas function of time to obtain effect of washing process on KIO3 stability in salt. The experiment result shows that the lowestcontent of Mg and reductor compound 0.016 % wt and 2.65 ppm respectively which is reached at the fi ne salt washingprocess using 27 % wt brine. The analysis of water content indicates an increase the Ca and Mg content, causing an waterabsorbtion in salt , However the effect on pH the is not clear.Keywords: Washing salt food, salt quality, iodium stabilit
ANALISIS IODAT DALAM BUMBU DAPUR DENGAN METODE IODOMETRI DAN X-RAY FLUORESCENCE
Iodat Analysis Content in Cooking Ingredients Using Iodometry and X-ray Fluorescence Methods. Salt iodization program using iodine fortification into salt method is the best method that is effective and economical to overcome the problems caused by iodine deficiency. However in, its development there are some issues clamed that the use of iodized salt is ineffective since iodine content reduces, even disappear when the salt mix with other cooking ingredients. In order to investigated the existence of iodine in cooking ingredients, a research applying iodometry and X-ray fluorescence methods was carry out. The result obtained by iodometry method showed decreases in iodine content in each ingredient, as chili was 75,5 %, ketumbar was 51,43 %, and pepper was 20.99 %. On the other hand, the X-rayFluorescence measurement showed the iodat deficiency in chili was 12.84 %, ketumbar was 6.42 %, and pepper was 1.14 %. The difference in the result of iodat deficiency can be caused by difference in principle and possessed by them. Iodometry only can analyze iodine in iodat form, while in cooking ingredients iodat may exist in various compound. X-ray Fluorescence can analyze iodat in some compounds so that the complicated matrix ingredient with not interfere the measurement.Keywords : iodat, iodometry, X-ray Fluorescence, salt, ingredien
