Some determinants of employee productivity / Nazihah Nasir
The productivity of office worker is very important in organization since it can increase the level of productivity every day. The study was conducted at Universiti Teknologi MARA Perlis. The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship of office productivity components which are comfort, office layout, interaction and distraction with productivity of office worker. The sample size of this research is 132 of office worker in Universiti Teknologi MARA. The researcher has been used Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0 to analyze the data and find the result by using the frequent distribution, reliability of measurement, Pearson correlation and as well multiple regression analysis. The finding of the study indicates that comfort and interaction are the most significant factors that will influence the productivity of office worker. Therefore, some of recommendation has been given for future improvement

Effect of leech therapy on body composition parameters / Nazihah Ahmad
Leech therapy treatment is one of the complimentary and alternative medicine
that has been categorized as one of the ancient method in treating diseases. Locally
unpopular this treatment still has its own believer that practices it for the sake of
bloodletting treatment that claims to be successful. Therefore, a series of study should
be conducted in order to prove the aforementioned claim by using the bioimpedance
analysis. Bioimpedance analysis is way of measuring the fat and fat free mass in much
more convenience way. This measurement is normally used by nutritionist as this
invasive method is very suitable to determine the health of a person which directly
affected by the composition of the fat in the body that can be further subdivide into
water, mineral and protein constituents. The result could be used to measure the
effectiveness of the leech therapy treatment as the readings and changes are taken into
consideration before and after the treatment. Thus, using engineering tools to analyze
the result can prove the effect of this therapy quantitatively
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Development of index of mixed dentition malocclusion / Najiyatu Nazihah Zakaria
Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are among the crucial components of comprehensive dental health care. Lack of data on the prevalence of malocclusion in the mixed dentition stage children underestimates the severity of malocclusion that can benefit from interceptive orthodontic. This research aims to determine the prevalence of malocclusion, and orthodontic treatment need amongst multi-ethnic Malaysian primary school children, and subsequently to develop and to test the validity and reliability of Index of Mixed Dentition Malocclusion (IMDM). It is a cross-sectional study with stratified random sampling based on the main ethnic composition. Clinical examinations were carried out, and study models were fabricated. The data collection was conducted at seven national primary schools in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. A total of 413 subjects (9-11 years old) were included in this study, and the data were analysed accordingly. The development of IMDM was carried out at the Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, with face and content validity being assessed using qualitative and quantitative methods. For the qualitative method, the IMDM draft was presented at two scientific meetings, whilst for the qualitative method, the face and content validity were determined according to the Content Validity Index (CVI) which comprised of item-level content validity index (I-CVI) and scale-level content validity index (S-CVI/Ave). Twelve assessors involved in assessing the face validity, while 8 panels of expert responsible in assessing content validity of IMDM draft. The validated IMDM was then undergoing validity testing, and the agreement was analysed using Fleiss Cohen Kappa test. Results show that the prevalence of malocclusion was high (76.0%) with the Class II predominating, while Class III was the least. There was no statistically significant difference between occlusal status to gender and ethnicity (p>0.05). Crowding was found to be the most predominant occlusal discrepancy (54.0%). Despite the high percentage of malocclusion, there was a low orthodontic treatment need as shown by the cumulative percentage of IOTN (DHC) grade 4 and 5 (30.5%). The Chinese ethnicity showed a significantly higher prevalence of definite need for orthodontic treatment compared to the other ethnicities with adjusted p=0.0007. On the other hand, early loss of deciduous second molar was frequently found in the Malay ethnicity (p=0.01). The qualitative validity of IMDM revealed that the IMDM draft required amendments. After modifying the IMDM draft, the amended IMDM showed an acceptable level of face and content validity with S-CVI/Ave: 0.87 and 0.86, respectively and excellent levels for both inter and intra-examiner reliability (Kappa = 1.00). In conclusion, this study provides information on the prevalence of malocclusion among Malaysian children, with subsequent development of validated and reliable Index of Mixed Dentition Malocclusion (IMDM)
Software defined networking based load balancer / Fatma Nazihah W. Hashim
As the number of network applications, devices and technologies used were increasing rapidly over the past years, resource control and network management are becoming challenging issues in maintaining network performance. Load balancing is crucial in order to allocate massive workload across many nodes in the network. Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a promising platform to build load balancer as it enables fast application deployment and delivery, thus reducing IT costs through policyenabled workflow automation. This paper focus on the design of a SDN based server load balancing application that will handle traffic load flowing into the system. The completed system is simulated on POX controller, an OpenFlow switch and three set of network topologies consisting the same number of hosts but different number of clients. Results show that round robin based load balancer yield better average response time and network bandwidth utilization, but shows^ tradeoff in the aspect of CPU utilization
