Poetry of Simon Jenko in the fourth and fifth class of primary school
No full textSimon Jenko, a poet and storyteller - also called the poet of Sorško polje - is one of the most important poets in the period between France Prešeren and literary modernism in Slovenia. The main goal of my dissertation was to get to know his life and to present his poetry in the second educational period. I was interested in children's reactions that I got during my teaching in class and through pupils' written tasks. I have also established the representation of the poet in the syllabus, school readers and school reading. I have found goals in the syllabus that can be realised with the use of the song Po slovesu.
In the first chapter I presented Jenko`s life and work in detail. Furthermore, I described the literary period in which he was creating and its characteristics that can be seen in the poet's works. I defined the concepts of poetry, narrative prose and young adult poetry in detail. Stages of school poetry interpretation and principles of literary communication in the class were listed and described as well. In the empirical part I dealt with the song Po slovesu in the fourth and fifth class of primary school. In this dissertation I also included a lesson plan and the analysis of work in the class. I have come to the conclusion, that the poet is not represented in the syllabus, school readers and school reading, but the children accepted him well, as a local author

No full textThe article is about monuments erected to the memory of Simon Jenko (1835–1869) the author of the lyrics for the unofficial Slovene anthem "Naprej, zastava slave!". The reading society in Kranj of which members were numerous friends and acquaintances of Simon Jenko, took care of a solemn funeral of Jenko, sent his literary heritage to the Slovenska matica in Ljubljana, and gave initiative for the poet’s (half public) tombstone, which was solemnly unveiled in the year 1873 at the cemetery in Kranj. At its sixtieth anniversary in 1923, the Reading society in Kranj placed a memorial plate on the house in which Simon Jenko passed away. In 1929, his compatriots raised a memorial in Podreča on the place of Jenko’s birth house. At the hundredth anniversary of Jenko’s birth in 1935, a grand solemnity was arranged at the memorial. The memorial was renewed in 1955 when the poet’s bust statue was raised as well.Članek govori o spominskih obeležjih pesnika Simona Jenka (1835–1869), avtorja besedila za neuradno slovensko himno "Naprej, zastava Slave!". Čitalnica v Kranju, v katero je bila včlanjena vrsta prijateljev in znancev Simona Jenka, je poskrbela za slovesen Jenkov pogreb, poslala njegovo literarno zapuščino Slovenski matici v Ljubljano in dala pobudo za pesnikov (napol javni) nagrobni spomenik, ki je bil slovesno odkrit leta 1873 na pokopališču v Kranju. Ob svoji 60-letnici leta 1923 je kranjska čitalnica postavila spominsko ploščo na hišo, v kateri je Simon Jenko umrl. Leta 1929 so v Podreči na mestu nekdanje Jenkove rojstne hiše postavili spomenik njegovi rojaki. Ob 100-letnici Jenkovega rojstva 1935 je bila ob spomeniku prirejena velika slavnost. Does the orbit-averaged theory require a scale separation between periodic orbit size and perturbation correlation length?
No full textUsing the canonical perturbation theory, we show that the orbit-averaged theory only requires a time-scale separation between equilibrium and perturbed motions and verifies the widely accepted notion that orbit averaging effects greatly reduce the microturbulent transport of energetic particles in a tokamak. Therefore, a recent claim [Hauff and Jenko, Phys. Rev. Lett. 102, 075004 (2009); Jenko et al., ibid. 107, 239502 (2011)] stating that the orbit-averaged theory requires a scale separation between equilibrium orbit size and perturbation correlation length is erroneous. No full textV diplomski nalogi sem preučila področje knjige in poezije, predvsem področje neklasičnih knjig poezije. Poezija nam omogoča bolj osebi stik z besedilom in globljo povezavo tudi na čustveni ravni. Ker lahko vsak bralec besedilo interpretira po svoje, je diplomsko delo moja lastna interpretacija prebrane¬ga. Besedilo je avtorsko delo mojega očeta, kar je že od začetka predstavljajo večji izziv. Moj namen je bil ustvariti knjigo poezije, ki ne sledi klasičnim merilom oblikovanja oziroma naši predstavi, kakšen izgled mora knjiga imeti. Z barvami in postavitvijo besed sem želela poudariti občutke, ki jih besedilo izraža. Cilj je bil razgraditi posamezne pesmi na besede in jih nato ponovno sestaviti v drugačno celoto z isto vsebino.
Projekta sem se najprej lotila z raziskavo področja. Z branjem in analizo posameznih pesmi sem določila osnovne parametre oblikovanja. Sledil je razvoj praktičnega dela diplomske nalo¬ge, kjer sem se, na podlagi predhodnih ugotovitev, ukvarjala predvsem z oblikovanjem. Ključnega pomena je bilo določiti osnovne parametre knjige, ki so omogočili lažje in natančno delo. Vzporedno z oblikovanjem posameznih strani je potekala še izdelava avtorskih ilustracij. Končni izdelek je fizična knjiga z naslovom Nekoga moram imeti.In my thesis I studied the field of books and poetry, especially the field of non-classical books of poetry. Poetry allows us to have more contact with the text and a deeper connection on an emotional level. Since each reader can interpret the text in their own way, the thesis is my own interpretation of what has been read. The text is my father’s copyrighted work, which was a bigger challenge from the start. My intention was to create a book of poetry that does not follow the classical criteria of design or our idea of what a book should look like. With the colors and the layout of the words, I wanted to emphasize the feelings that the text expresses. The goal was to break down individual songs into words and then reassemble them into a different whole with the same content.
I first started the project with research in the field. By reading and analyzing individual poems, I determined the basic desi¬gn parameters. This was followed by the development of the practical part of the diploma thesis, where, based on previous findings, I was mainly engaged in design. It was crucial to determine the basic parameters of the book, which made it easier and more accurate to work. No full textKnjiga Sclavorum regnum duhovnika Dukljanina je prva znana zgodovinska knjiga južnih Slovanov. Kot pomemben kulturni spomenik črnogorske srednjeveške kulture zavzema posebno mesto, zato je treba pri njeni obravnavi pojasniti zgodovinski kontekst njenega nastanka, rabo pisave in oblikovanje rokopisa ter primerjati vpliv Vzhoda in Zahoda na grafično oblikovanje v tedanji Črni gori. Nadaljnji korak ponovnega oblikovanja knjige omogoča precej avtorske oz. oblikovalske svobode, kar se odraža v odstopanju od srednjeveškega kanona pri izdelavi rokopisov. Tako namesto srednjeveških ilustracij delo temelji na digitalnem ilustriranju in sodobnih pristopih v oblikovanju knjig.Priest of Duklja‘s Sclavorum Regnum is the first known written historical book of the South Slavs. As an important cultural monument of the Montenegrin Middle Ages, it represent a special place. Thus, it was necessary to thoroughly explain the historical context, the use of alphabets, typography and writing systems, and the graphic design of the manuscript. To compare the influence of the West and the East on graphic design in Montenegro at the time. The very approach to redesigning the book gives a certain author - designer freedom. That freedom is used to break the medieval canon during the creation of the manuscript. Thus, instead of medieval illustrations, we use digital illustrations and a contemporary way of book design
Students' attitudes to multi-day field trips: school field trip and scout camp
No full textCilj istraživanja je saznati mišljenje učenika o prednostima i nedostacima škole u prirodi i izviđačke kolonije. Istraživanje je provedeno na učenicima četvrtih i petih razreda osnovne škole koji su sudjelovali u školi u prirodi i na izviđačkoj koloniji za poletarce i pčelice. Za prikupljanje podataka koristio se anketni upitnik.
Dobivenim rezultatima pokazano je da postoji statistički značajna razlika u zadovoljstvu ispitanika između aktivnosti škola u prirodi i izviđačka kolonija te je izviđačka kolonija prikupila više glasova. Proveden test o proporciji koji pokazuje da postoji statistički značajna razlika u udjelima ispitanika iz pojedinih izviđačkih udruga. Najviše ispitanika dolazi iz Družine izviđača „Golub mira“ iz Zagreba, dok je značajno manji broj ispitanika iz ostalih izviđačkih udruga. Provedenim testom o proporciji nije pronađena značajna statistička razlika u udjelima među spolovima. Prema dobivenim rezultatima obzirom na ocjene aktivnosti prema interesima učenika, ispitanici su većinom jako zadovoljni ponuđenim aktivnostima koje se najčešće provode u školi u prirodi i na izviđačkoj koloniji. Igre na otvorenim prostoru i večernje aktivnosti prikupile su najbolje ocjene učenika, dok najmanje interesa iskazuju prema karaokama i štafetnim igrama. Ispitanici su većinom jasno izrazili svoja mišljenja o prednostima i nedostacima obje višednevne aktivnosti. Veliku važnost pridaju organizaciji i trajanju aktivnosti, zanimljivosti sadržaja i međuljudskim odnosima. Uz pomoć otvorenih pitanja prikupljeni su prijedlozi učenika za približavanje sadržaja planiranih aktivnosti njihovim interesima s ciljem povećanja zadovoljstva i sudjelovanja učenika na višednevnim aktivnostima. Iz sveukupno dobivenih rezultata može se zaključiti da izbor aktivnosti ima utjecaj na zadovoljstvo učenika te se potiču daljnja istraživanja sličnog sadržaja.The aim of this paper is to examine the attitudes of students about the advantages and disadvantages of school trips and scout summer camps. This research was conducted on the 4th and 5th graders of elementary school that participated in a school field trip or a scout summer camp. For the purposes of collecting data, the author used a questionnaire.
The results obtained show a statistically significant difference between the two activities: a school field trip and a scout summer camp, where the scout summer camp proved to be a bigger success among the students and got more votes. The questionnaire offers a statistically significant difference between the numbers of examinees according to the scout group they belong to. Most of the examinees belong to a Scout group from Zagreb, called “Golub mira”, while a significantly small number of them belongs to other scout groups. The questionnaire presented no significant difference in results between male or female examinees and their answers. Analysing the results that present the ranking of the activities according to their interests, the examinees were pleased with the activities offered on a school field trip or a scout summer camp. Activities that got the majority of the votes were outdoor games and evening activities, while relay games and karaoke proved to be the least popular. The examinees offered their opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of both types of multi-day activities. They stressed the importance of the organization and duration of each activity as well as their popularity and the amount of social interaction. For the purposes of improving satisfaction and participation of students according to their personal interests, the author used open-ended questions in order to collect students’ ideas and suggestions. Having in mind the results obtained, the choice of the programme activities planned has a great influence on the satisfaction of students and motivates them to explore such areas further in life
Dyeing with avocado peels for personal brand
No full textNamen diplomskega dela je bil dopolnitev nove kolekcije lastne blagovne znamke Yummi Apparel z naravno obarvanimi izdelki in sicer s pomočjo avokadovih olupkov.
V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena blagovna znamka Yummi Apparel, njena vizija, ciljna skupina ter celostna podoba. Raziskovala sem pomen znamčenja ter temeljne karakteristike, ki po mnenju avtorja Philipa Kotlerja doprinesejo k uspešnosti znamk. Izpostavila sem nekaj manjših znamk, ki dosegajo uspehe tudi v času, ko trg preplavlja hitra moda in obravnavala nekaj možnih razlogov za to.
V nadaljevanju je predstavljeno barvanje z avokadovimi olupki ter vloga avokada v sodobnem življenju.
Rožnati odtenki, ki jih daje barvanje z avokadovimi olupki so bili povod za to, da dopolnim novo kolekcijo črnega spodnjega perila z naravno pobarvanimi izdelki. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela sem raziskovala barvanje, da bi pridobila paleto izbranih rožnatih odtenkov in testirala njihovo obstojnost na pranje. Na podlagi ugotovitev sem se tako lotila barvanja embalaže ter platnenih torb, ki so vizualno dopolnile linijo spodnjega perila in omogočile, da celotna kolekcija sovpada s tipičnim znamčenjem Yummi Apparel.The purpose of the thesis was completing new collection from Yummi Apparel personal brand with naturally dyed products, dyed with avocado peels.
The theoretical part consists of Yummi Apparel brand introduction, it’s vision, target audience and corporate identity. Additionally, I explored the meaning of branding and main characteristics that author Philip Kotler defines as part of successful brands. Referring to a few small brands, I pointed out some possible reasons to why they are successful despite fast fashion currently dominating the market.
Furthermore, I explored dyeing with avocado peels and role of avocado in modern life.
Pink color that can be achieved with avocado peels was the motive to complete new collection of black lingerie with naturally dyed items. In the practical part of the thesis I explored dying to produce a pallet of selected pink shades and also tested color fastness to washing. Based on the results, I proceeded with dyeing the packaging and tote bags that visually completed the lingerie collection and achieved a look that coincides with typical Yummi Apparel branding
