A Comparative Analysis of Mental Health in Humayun Ahmed's Nondito Noroke and Debi
Humayun Ahmed is a prominent author from Bangladesh, widely read for his ability to blend surrealism within the boundaries of middle-class families in Asian households. Nondito Noroke (In Blissful Hell), was the first-ever work of the author published in the 1970s. The plot revolves around a lower-middle-class family struggling to make ends meet. Rabia, the twenty-two-year-old, female character is the eldest daughter of the family. She suffers from an unexplained mental disability that restrains her duties and allows her to lead a carefree life. Her carelessness ultimately pushes her to death while her family suffers from a deep personal loss that claims three lives. On the other hand, Debi (Goddess) portrays the psychic powers of Ranu, the seventeen-year-old protagonist suffering from Hysteria Schizophrenia. Her extraordinary sensory perceptions of hearing a voice without an external stimulus raise her to the position of a medium for “Debi” to communicate with the human world. This paper attempts to conduct a comparative analysis between Rabia and Ranu through the lens of feminist psychoanalysis and trauma theory, where the former is an oppressed and rejected individual who is constantly pulled apart by the expectation of the conventional society on the norms of gender roles. At the same time, the latter is idolised as a Goddess for her ability to foretell the future. The significance of this research lies in understanding the pattern of mental health in the context of women's development from a South-Asian perspective
APLIKASI WAV PLAYER PADA PERANCANGAN POWERBANK SEBAGAI CHARGER LAPTOP
WAV PLAYER APPLICATION ON THE POWERBANK DESIGN
AS THE LAPTOP CHARGER
DEBI PUTRI UTAMI
ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING PROGRAM
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL
POLYTECHNIC STATE OF SRIWIJAYA
The final report entitled WAV Player application on The Powerbank Design as the laptop charger. The author aims to create a source of mobile electrical energy, it can be taken anywhere and used anytime. The design of Powerbank laptop designed for use WAV player application to issue a variety of sounds as an indicator, this Powerbank is equipped with an LCD and LED as an indicator of Powerbank capacity. WAV Player application sound through the speakers, in the design of this Powerbank there are 3 sounds cast by WAV player through the speakers, the sound has changed formats from MP3 to WAV format in accordance with the specifications that can be read by WAV player and has been adapted to a program that could read by the microcontroller. WAV sound to be emitted by the player through the speakers is "charging complete" means the capacity to Powerbank already full, "charging ready" means Powerbank can be used to charge the laptop, "charging not ready" means Powerbank could not be used and should be immediately recharge. This Powerbank uses the microcontroller ATMega8 to organize the work of WAV Player, LCD, and LED. Keywords: Powerbank,WAV Player, LCD, LED, Microcontroller, ATMega8, Battery

Categorical Perception of Color is Restricted to the Right Visual Field in Korean Speakers Who Maintain Central Fixation
A previous study (Roberson, Pak & Hanley, 2008) demonstrated that Korean
(but not English) speakers show Categorical Perception (CP) on a visual search
task for a boundary between two Korean colour categories that is not marked in
English. Moreover, fast Korean responders showed CP only in the right visual
field while slow responders showed CP in both visual fields. The present study
used eye-tracking to demonstrate that those responders who maintained fixation
on a central point showed CP only in the right visual field. Responders who
moved their eyes to search for targets showed the effect in both visual fields.
These results support that CP in this task is mediated by processing in the left
hemisphere. This research was supported by an Economic and Social
Research Council Grant (RES/221527) to the first author and by a Korea Research
Foundation Grant funded by the Korean Government (MOEHRD) (KRF-2006-352-

Wedding Culture of Urang Serawai Sintang
This article describes the urang Serawai bride culture in Sintang District, West Kalimantan. The description was carried out because the author was interested in seeing the form of bride culture in Muslim communities living in remote areas which is far from the center of Islam. The data used in this paper is based on interviews with cultural actors and observations of wedding activities in 2015, coupled with own experience as part of the Serawai community. In the Urang Serawai bride culture there is a series of activities. In the activity, it shows the elements of Islam, such as reciting the Koran, prayer, barzanji, hadrah, etc.; and there are local elements, for example, seen in parade, nopen, janur, etc. Through the bride culture, it appears that Islam and local culture are side by side, filling in the space and function of each
