Nasir Shehzad is a notable literary figure of the 20th century. He wrote down many books: “Kon Dais Gyo,” “Pukarti Rahee Bansi, andd "Ban Bas." He not only wrote the prefaces of his own books but also the books of his contemporaries. Nasir Shehzad creates a unique pleasure with his style of narration in the prefaces. The book and the author are introduced by him in a good manner. In these prefaces, a glimpse of his literature, ideas, and personality is also seen. He has written prefaces only on poetry genres. Along with songs, ghazals, and poems in these poetry genres, he has shed light on the tradition and narration of coffee and couplets in the form of a preface. The main purpose of the preface is to make the contents of the book clear in such a way that the person interested in the subject is drawn to read it because it makes the outline of the book clear to the reader, which makes the reader interested in the study. The prefaces of Nasir Shahzad meet this standard to a great extent. In this article, effort is made to analyze his preface writing in detail. Reference: 1. Food items detection and recognition via multiple deep models

    No full text
We address the problem of food items detection and recognizing different food categories in images. Given the variety of food items with low inter- and high intraclass variations and the limited information contained in a single image, the problem is known to be particularly hard. In order to achieve better detection and recognition capabilities, we propose a joint use of multiple classifiers trained on features extracted via multiple deep models using different fusion techniques, including an early and two different late fusion schemes, namely induced order weighted averaging and particle swarm optimization based fusion. Moreover, we assess the performance of different deep models in food items detection and recognition. Experimental evaluations are carried out on two large-scale benchmark datasets, demonstrating better results for the proposed approach

Nowadays, Travel Recommender Application is becoming increasingly popular to promote and support the tourism industry. A Travel Recommender Application allows user to get knowledgeable travel recommendations via an artificial intelligence based engine. Most of the Travel Recommender Application that is accessible at the moment centers on the pretravel planning like booking flight tickets and hotel. Therefore, tourists may find it problematic to gain information during their tour. Especially for business travelers as they are usually under time constraints and regularly need a precise and instant information. In this project, we propose an on-tour travel recommender application. Our solution allows tourists to gain exact and instant information during their tour. In order to give recommendations, we used a rule-based decision mechanism that consist a set of if-then rules, a set of facts and an interpreter. Recommendations are given according to the rules constructed. Results gathered from the analysis prove that this Travel Recommender Application provides precise information. In conclusion, this Travel Recommender Application can successfully provide recommendation to users

Towards Divine Economics: Some Testable Propositions

Throughout the human history, the religion has remained a fundamental feature of social construct and human behaviour. Religious orientation plays important role in shaping human perceptions about economic and non-economic activities. With few exceptions, religion has remained an un-explored area in economics. For most economists, narrative and metaphor have no place in a rational choice theory, which is a wrong belief. In fact, any approach that considers behavioural laws satisfying the criteria of objectivity, reproducibility, and refutability is scientific and falls in purview of rational choice framework. A few studies, however, do exist on economics of religion under rational choice concerning to households, groups, and entire “religious markets”. [Becker (1976); Iannaccone (1988, 1990, 1992, 1993); Mack and Leigland (1992)]. Rosenberg (1985) presents discussion of the limitations of neoclassical economic theory due to its reliance on exogenous differences in taste and preference. It is argued that these limitations cannot be circumvented by findings and theories in other disciplines (e.g., psychology), because any measurement of preferences must begin with neoclassical assumptions about rationality. The alternative to tasteendogeniety advanced by [Becker (1976)] is found to only circumvent the usual difficulties if “stable preferences” notion is interpreted as needs. Further advancement is not taking place because of the important heterogeneous variables, which have yet received little attention from economists. Such variables may be found in attitudes and values acquired by consumers in variety of social and religious environments.

Research reported in this paper is a research on “Factors that Leads to Bankruptcy in Malaysia”. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship of credit card rate, medical debt rate and personal debt rate to the number of bankruptcy recorded in Malaysia. The research used Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) in order to find the relationship among those independent variables to the number of bankruptcy cases in Malaysia. The quarterly rates were collected from quarter 1 in 2006 to quarter 2 in 2013.The result of this study show that credit card and medical debt have significant relationship to the number of bankruptcy. As conclusion for the studies shows that the credit card, medical debt and personal debt become are factors that contribute to the number of bankruptcy

Implementation of KH Ahmad Dahlan's educational thoughts in the merdeka curriculum

    Get PDF
This research aims to see how the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan are implemented in the kurikulum merdeka that is being promoted by the government through KEMDIKBUDRISTEK. The research method used is a literature review where the author collects data on the educational thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan, independent curriculum and discusses how it is implemented. The results of the study show that the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan are implemented in the independent curriculum in several aspects including: in the education system, namely the integration of religious and Scientific knowledge curricula, in the aspect of educational goals, namely the formation of students who are religiously knowledgeable and intelligent in insight and scientific views which are reflected in the Pancasila student profile, in terms of technical implementation, namely indications of pending development of educational implementation, in terms of learning methods namely contextual learning which is reflected in intracurricular and cocurricular learning models on independent curriculum. In addition to these four aspects, both KH Ahmad Dahlan and the concept of independent curriculum focus on developing students both individually and socially. The implication of this research is the formation of educational institutions that truly become an answer to the needs of students in facing the development of time, not just schools as a formality to get a diploma. As for educators, they should be more open-minded so that they are ready to develop and ready to become a solution for student development
