No full textValue of Passenger Car Unit or commonly known as PCU value is a value that is given to any vehicle that is classified into heavy vehicles, light vehicles (passenger car) and motorcycles. The value of passenger car unit on Indonesia Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) set up in 1997 is based on a study conducted from 1980-1990 in several cities in Indonesia At the time of the study, the traffic conditions are very different to the current traffic conditions. That affects of difference traffic conditions are the composition of traffic, traffic regulations, traffic density, traffic discipline and the presence of mass transit, so that the results of traffic analysis do not always correspond to reality as there are anomalies in the determination of the level of road service (Najid, 2014). As well the incompatibility of the capacity value which is considered due to the incompatibility value of Passenger Car Units (PCU). Evaluation PCU become very important to get the value of traffic parameters into compliance with actually occur. In accordance with the traffic density is higher actually, then it is necessary to study for evaluation against PCU current value and the need to approach or to get the value of PCU more in line with current traffic conditions. Data collected at two cities, those are Bandung and Semarang. Based on analysis found PCU’s value that got from survey have difference but not all significantly with PCU value in IHCM

This trait can be seen among peers and among close friends. This study was performed to inject sarcastic nature into Totan’s character and The Author in the theater Setor-P. Totan’s character is one of the main characters in this theater. Sarcastic nature can enhance and highlighting Totan and The Autor’s character in this play. I used The Stanislavski System to get a clear picture of how sarcastic it is served. Application of this nature is done in the training process until the last stage. The findings can be seen after researchers understand the meaning of sarcastic and implement itself into the character that will be played. The concept of this play is naturalism and as an actor, I used indicators and methods of the System

Based on the observation, there are some factors that driven this research to be conducted in term of the factors that influence employees’ absenteeism. The factor chosen are tenure and flexible working hours/schedules. The research was conducted within the time frame from February 2017 until June 2017. The total number of questionnaires distributed to the respondent is three hundred (300), however, only two hundred and twelve (212) were returned. Based on the result of the study, all the factors have a relationship between the employees’ absenteeism which means all factor have their own influence on employees’ absenteeism

Get PDFThe changes of the structure of the power system, size, and complexity have increased the important of LFC. For this reason, this research studies the controller aspect of LFC by using the Fractional Order Integral-Derivative (FOID) controller or IλDμ Controller. In order to obtain the best controller parameter values for LFC, Firefly Algorithm (FA) and Chaos Firefly Algorithm (CFA) are used. This project analyzes the performance of the algorithms based LFC in three power system area. The primary objectives of LFC are to maintain frequency and minimize power interchanges with neighboring control areas. These objectives are met by measuring a control error signal called the area control error (ACE), which calculates the real power difference between generation and load. In this project, the integral of time multiply squared error (ITSE) as the objective function is used on the ACE. The model of the system is designed using Matlab software to carry out simulation studies. Step input load deviation is injected to the system at designated location and the optimization of ramp rate, speed regulation and the IλDμ parameters are carried out. The frequency deviation and tie line power changes characteristics are analyzed to observe the system performance. The maximum overshoot, settling time and ITSE value is also recorded and compared. Result shows that the CFA is the best optimization method due to its robustness and consistency. The project can be further improved by tuning the controller using other optimization techniques and including other physical constraints
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
