The experience gained both in eastern medicine, traditional medicine so directly sponsored and proposed approaches are necessary to ensure patient care and specialist massage. Обобщен опыт, наработанный в восточной медицине, в традиционной медицине и непосредственно авторами, предложены подходы, необходимые для обеспечения здоровья пациента и специалиста по массажу.     Thermally excited flow in a microsized liquid crystal cavity

    Nonmechanical pumping has been investigated as a liquid crystal device, based on the interplay between the structure of liquid crystal phase (director field), velocity field, heat flow and electric field. The mesogen occupies a homogeneously-aligned liquid crystal (HALC) cavity, delimited by two infinitely long, charged horizontal and coaxial cylinders. A uniform heat flow is applied radially, from the inner cylinder to the outer (colder) one, kept at a constant temperature; the radially directed electrostatic field results from the two electric double layers, i.e. shielding cylindrical layers that are naturally created within the liquid crystal (LC) near a charged surface. Calculations, based on the appropriate nonlinear extension of the classical Ericksen–Leslie theory, show that, under the influence of the uniform heat flow, the HALC material starts moving in the horizontal direction. After switching off the heat flow, the HALC material settles down to rest, and the temperature field across the LC cavity finally drops to the value imposed on the outer (colder) boundary. As for the nematogenic material, we have considered the HALC cavity to be occupied by 4-n-pentyl-40-cyanobiphenyl, and investigated the role of the bounding cylinders in the evolution processes of both the velocity and the thermomechanical shear stress tensor component to their equilibrium distributions across the cavity, for one heating regime and a number of anchoring conditions

Gorbachevskogo Ministry of Health of Ukraine"   Summary In carrying out morphological analysis of oscillograms right and left shoulder asymmetry state of the peripheral circulation is registered in each of the 31 surveyed. Severity of asymmetries was different. It depended on the evaluated criteria and individual patients. The smallest asymmetry been registered at the study duration ripple rising parts (25%), the largest - the downlink (44% surveyed). Other criteria difference was smaller. . . However, two persons were registered significant deviations from normal parameters studied. They must be urgent in-depth examination. Keywords: arterial oscilloscopes, electronic blood pressure meters, morphological analysis of arterial waveforms.   Резюме При проведенні морфологічного аналізу осцилограм правого і лівого плеча  асиметрія стану периферійного кровообігу зареєстровано  у кожного із 31 обстежених. Ступінь проявів асиметрій була різною. Вона залежала від оцінюваного критерію та індивідуальних особливостей обстеженого. Найменшою асиметрія реєструвалась при вивченні тривалості висхідної частин пульсації, (у 25%), найбільшою  – низхідної (у 44%  обстежених).  За іншими критеріями різниця була меншою. . . Проте, у 2 осіб  було зареєстровано значні відхилення досліджуваних параметрів від норми. Вони підлягають терміновому поглибленому обстеженню. Ключові слова: артеріальна осцилограма, електронні вимірювачі артеріального тиску, морфологічний аналіз артеріальних осцидлграм.   Резюме Сравнительный анализ состояния сосудов левой и правой верхней конечности с использованием информационной технологии морфологического анализа артериальных осциллограмм. При проведении морфологического анализа артериальных осциллограмм правого и левого плеча 32 обследованных (без жалоб на состояние здоровья)  асимметрия периферического кровообращения  зарегистрирована у каждого из них. Степень проявления асимметрий была разной. Она зависела от критериев, подлежащих оценке и индивидуальных особенностей обследуемого.  Менее выраженной она била при оценке длительности восходящей части пульсации  (у 25%), наиболее – нисходящей (у 44%   обследованных). По другим критериям разница оказалась меньшей. Однако, у 2 лиц зарегистрированы значительные отклонения от нормы. Они подлежат срочному углубленному обследованию. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University”   Summary The reaction vessel shoulder on the compression at rest and after exposure to varying factors makes it possible to assess the state of the neuro-endocrine regulation of the cardiovascular system by the level of functioning of the autonomic nervous system, the functional capacity of the heart, a reflex reaction of the cardiovascular system, the state channel peripheral vessels (tone , elasticity, permeability), the activity of emergency response mechanisms for compression (baroretseptorni, hemoretseptorni, reflex ischemia) and others. The results make it possible to improve information diagnostics of the cardiovascular system by analyzing arterial waveform, registered in the measurement of blood pressure using, time analysis in each patient. Keywords: information technology, time analysis of arterial oscilogram.   Резюме Реакция сосудов плеча на компрессию в состоянии покоя и после воздействия разнохарактерных факторов дает возможность оценить состояние нервно-эндокринной регуляции деятельности сердечно-сосудистой системы, уровень функционирования вегетативной нервной системы, функциональную способность сердца, рефлекторную реакцию сердечно-сосудистой системы, состояние русла периферических сосудов (тонус , эластичность, проходимость), активность механизмов срочной реакции на компрессию (барорецепторной, хеморецепторного, рефлекс на ишемию) и др. Полученные результаты дают возможность повысить информативность диагностики состояния сердечно-сосудистой системы путем анализа артериальной осциллограммы, зарегистрированной в процессе измерения артериального давления с применением, временного анализа у каждого пациента. Ключевые слова: информационные технологии, временной анализ осциллограмм.   Резюме Застосування інформаційної технології часового методу аналізу артеріальних осцилограм для вивчення адаптаційних механізмів організму. Реакція судин плеча на компресію у стані спокою та після впливу різнохарактерних факторів дає можливість оцінити стан нервово-ендокринної регуляції діяльності серцево-судинної системи, рівень функціонування вегетативної нервової системи, функціональну здатність серця, рефлекторну реакцію серцево-судинної системи, стан русла периферійних судин (тонус, еластичність, прохідність), активність механізмів термінової реакції на компресію (барорецепторні, хеморецепторні, рефлекс на ішемію) тощо. Отримані результати дають можливість підвищити інформативність діагностики стану серцево-судинної системи шляхом аналізу артеріальної осцилограми, зареєстрованої у процесі вимірювання артеріального тиску із застосуванням, часового аналізу у кожного пацієнта.     Chapter 37. Prospect of Creating a Virtual Reality System with Feedback for the Correction of the Patient’s Psychological State Based on the Results of the Analysis of Arterial Pulsations Registered during Blood Pressure Measurement Using the Oranta-AO Information System

    Introduction: Nowadays, the timely diagnosis of anxiety levels and its psychotherapeutic correction is an important issue. Objective: To investigate the impact of video imagery of “sound of water” on vegetative balance for the purpose of creating a virtual reality system for psychological rehabilitation. Materials and Methods: 80 students aged 18-23 were examined before and after 5 minutes of viewing the video composition “sound of water.” As an audiovisual influence, a patient rehabilitation module with virtual reality was integrated into the medical information system Oranta-MIS. The cardiovascular system, autonomic nervous system, and their regulatory mechanisms were studied using proposed methods through time and spectral analysis of arterial oscillations (AO). The level of personal anxiety was determined using the method of C.D. Spielberger, and the degree of neuroticism was assessed using G. Eysenck's method. Results: Some strong correlation links were observed between the level of personal anxiety and indicators of heart rate variability, reflecting the state of sympathetic and parasympathetic branches of the autonomic nervous system. These correlations have allowed us to the predict a person's stress level. A positive and calming impact of viewing “sound of water” compositions on the state of the autonomic nervous system and the psycho-emotional status of the subjects was registered. Conclusions: The application of “sound of water “ listening within virtual reality systems with biofeedback is effective and can be helpful in controlling the anxiety levels and conducting psychotherapeutic correction. The analysis of arterial oscillations in a virtual reality setting could serve as a marker in assessing a person's psycho-emotional state.Chapter 37.     Introduction: The concept of integrative medicine is a combination of Western medicine and natural medicine, including Eastern medicine. Accordingly, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is becoming increasingly widespread in the world as an alternative. Objective. The purpose of our study was to determine the interdependence between organs when they are exposed to the five elements. Hypothetically, the element of “Water” was identified with a video image of a stream flowing, “Fire” with a video image of flames burning, and “Metal” with a video image of bells sounding. Materials and Methods: During the study, a group of seventy practically healthy people was examined. The study were divided into four groups. The first group included indicators taken at rest (baseline), without any external influences. The second group included indicators taken after a five-minute video clip of water flowing in a stream, which was identified with the element of Water, the third group included flames in a fireplace, which was identified with the element of Fire, and the fourth group included bells ringing, which was identified with the element of Metal. Results: Visual analysis of oscillograms. In the oscillogram registered before the experiment, at the beginning of the oscillogram, there is a large number of small oscillations, which disappear after listening to the musical composition “Water” for 2 minutes. This tendency was observed in all the identified cases. The figure shows the Fourier transform decomposition of arterial oscillograms of patient B (21 years old), before and after listening to an audiovisual composition with a recording of water flowing in a stream for 2 minutes. Are shows that the main frequency spectrum that was sensitive to listening to a musical composition with a recording of water flowing in a stream for 2 minutes ranged from 6 to 14 Hz (Alpha and Theta rhythms). Summarizing the results of the influence of the factors noted above made it possible to conclude that the reaction of the cardiovascular system, even in the case of a relatively similar initial state and the influence of the same factors, is not unambiguous, which objectively confirms the need for further research. Conclusions: The element of Metal (watching the video clip of the Bell) affected the meridians LI, LV, PC, which are inherent in the corresponding elements of Metal, Fire and Wood. This influence also caused negative changes in the indicators M1, M2, M3, M4, M6, M7. However, there was no effect on Water. As a result, 100 variants of decision trees were built. In each of them, an algorithm for differentiating the states of patients in the initial state and after viewing three multimedia compositions (“Water,” “Fire,” “Metal”) is proposed. The presence of a group of indicators with strong correlations and cases of significant correlation recorded synchronously in ECG and AOG confirms the validity of the indicators proposed for AOG analysis and their interpretation. This enables the validation of the proposed methods for AOG analysis by the authors.Chapter 36.
