Human Resource Management Practices , Employee Satisfaction, and Employee Performance in Myawaddy Bank (Tin Myo Win, 2024)
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to examine how employee performance and
satisfaction at Myawaddy Bank are impacted by HRM practices. The primary
objective of this research is achieved by the use of both primary and secondary data.
This study makes use of regression analysis, descriptive statistics, and the quantitative
research approach. The sample size that results from Yamane's (1973) sample size
selection is 300. Respondents are chosen using an online survey that distributes a
structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale, utilizing a basic random sample
technique. The findings of the investigation indicate that employee happiness is
influenced by human resource planning, recruiting and selection, training and
development, and performance assessment procedures. This research examines the
relationship between employee performance and satisfaction. Based on these findings,
Myawaddy Bank should focus refining recruitment processes, ensuring fair and
competitive compensation packages, enhancing performance appraisal systems, and
investing in comprehensive training and development opportunities. Regular
monitoring and adaptation of HRM Practices based on these insights lead for
sustaining and enhancing these relationships on employee satisfaction and employee
performance over time

Get PDFThis research aims to identify influencing factors on customer satisfaction and analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty of AYA Bank Mobile Banking products. This study is conducted on 100 customers out of total 200,000 active users from Myanmar. From the findings of the study, it is evident that service quality and technology factor have significantly positive effect on customer satisfaction of mobile banking service of AYA Bank. Findings also show that customer satisfaction is positively significant to customer loyalty. This study recommends that AYA Bank need to improve information quality of Mobile Banking Application while need to maintain existing service quality and enhance system technology as per customer requirement. Therefore, bank is not only able to retain existing customers but also to capture new customers. Bank also needs to do proper customer segment to identify satisfy customer and offer other product (e.g., home loan) to convert them as loyal customer
A Study on Awareness of Personal Protective Equipment in Workplace ( Case Study: Zaykabar Industrial Zone) ( Aung Myo Win, 2024)
Get PDFThis study investigates the current situation of voluntary and governmentsupervised
industrial safety management activities in the Zaykabar industrial zone,
with a particular focus on the awareness and implementation of Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE). The necessary data is collected from 150 factories in the Zaykabar
industrial zone. Using a descriptive method, the study reveals that most industrial
enterprises have established basic safety elements such as policies, objectives,
procedures, and reporting mechanisms. The effectiveness of tripartite management
activities, involving the government, employers, and workers, in preventing accidents
is widely recognized. Employers commonly provide safety facilities and maintain
equipment, though regular safety meetings and PPE training sessions. Nearly all
industries possess necessary permits and undergo annual inspections by relevant
regulatory bodies. It is also found that, even though they use boilers in their
production processes, some businesses do not have boiler licenses. The study
highlights the need for improved awareness, consistent training, and enforcement to
enhance PPE use to meet the overall safety in Yangon’s industrial sectors
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
