    Electricity is very important in our life. PT. PLN (Persero) is a State Owned Corporations (BUMN) that is active in service field of electricity matters. The main duty of PT. PLN (Persero) is to provide the electricity for the entire Indonesian requirement. In order to reduce the cost of electricity productions which increases more and more, PT. PLN (Persero) incites the program of electricity saving program which does not only involve the staff of PT. PLN (Persero) but also all its customer. Public Relations Officer as a staff of PT. PLN, which is as a bridge between company and customers, has a big role in succeeding this program; they are giving information and direction to the stakeholders by using direct and indirect socialization, maintaining the good relationships with stakeholders and making the good cooperation with press and media, either printed or electronic as one of channel in conducting the role of Public Relations. The efforts of Public Relations division of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Surakarta in succeeding electricity saving program are through two ways. They are direct communication and indirect communication. Direct communications is in the form of face-to-face communication between public Relations of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Surakarta and customers, while indirect communication is through socialization by mass media and by external publication The electricity saving program should be socialized more and more by Public Relations of PT. PLN (Persero) because it is not only for the existence of company, but also for the continuing of human life in the future and we should succeed this program if we do not want the supply of electricity lost

English Diploma Program of Faculty of Letters and Fine Arts, Sebelas Maret University. This report is written based on the observation conducted by the writer in LTI Surakarta by doing her job training. The purpose of this final project is to describe the roles of Public Relations Division in LTI Surakarta. The roles of Public relations division in LTI Surakarta are divided into two categories. They are: (1) the internal, and (2) the external roles. The writer did some jobs with the Manager Marketing of LTI Surakarta by helping the Manager Marketing to finish his job like did the lobbying and solving complaints to gain the informations reported nin this report. The internal roles are the roles conducted by Public Relations Division to increase the performance of company by conducting their plans. The internal programs of Public Relations of LTI Surakarta are addressed to the internal public; they are officers including the public relations officer. Meanwhile, the external roles are the roles of Public Relations Division to increase the performance of company by conducting the programs addressed to the external publics as stake holders of LTI Surakarta. The external public includes other companies, government and official, press media, and advertising agency. From the discussion, the writer concludes that Public Relations Officer has conducted its roles, either internal or external roles. However, the company’s decision which placed one person to hold double jobs for the Public Relations Officer and Manager Marketing was not really effective because both of them had different focus. Public Relations tends to create and maintain the relationship and cooperation with public without ignoring the goals of company, while marketing is only focused on the selling of products of the company to get profit. Thus, the writer gives suggestion to the company to recruit more officers to hold each position in organization to get the optimal result

    ABSTRAK Haris Munandar (2024) : Komunikasi Pendidikan Multikultural Perspektif Al-Qur’an (Analisis Tafsir Al- Munir Karya Wahbah Az- Zuhaili) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi pendidikan multikultural dalam al-Qur‟an. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakan (library research). Teknik analisis data menggunakan content analisys. Hasil penelitian ini dapat ditemukan ayat-ayat tentang komunikasi pendidikan multikultural dalam kitab tafsir Al-Munir. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil yang terdapat pada ayat Al-Qur‟an tentang pendidikan multikultural, antara lain: QS. Al-Hujraat ayat 13, QS. Ar-Ruum ayat 22, QS. Yunus ayat 99 dan QS. Al-Mumtahanah ayat 8. Terminologi komunikasi yang ditemukan menggunakan istilah: qaulan ma’rufan, qaulan balighan, qaulan layyinan, qaulan maisuran, qaulan sadidan, dan qaulan kariman. Sedangkan multikultural dalam Al-Qur‟an menggunakan istilah: Syu’uban (keberagaman suku), Qaba’ila (keberagaman bangsa), Lisanan (keberagaman bahasa) dan lawnan (warna kulit), dan Addin (agama). Internalisasi komunikasi pendidikan multikultural dapat dilakukan dengan cara: pertama, pendekatan kontekstual. Kedua, pengembangan keterampilan komunikasi lintas multikultural. Hasil penelitian ini dapat ditemukan ayat-ayat tentang komunikasi orang tua dan anak dalam Al-Qur‟an. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil yang terdapat pada QS. Yusuf ayat 4-5, QS. Huud ayat 41-43, QS. Luqman ayat 13-19, QS. As-Shaffaat ayat 100-102. Terminologi orang tua komunikasi dalam al-Qur‟an antara lain: qaulan ma‟rufan, qaulan balighan, qaulan layyinan, qaulan maishuran, dan qaulan sadidan. Sedangkan terminologi anak antara lain: walad, ibn, dzurriyyah, ghulam dan thifl. Bentuk komunikasi pendidikan orang tua dan anak dari persfektif Al-Qur‟an berbentuk komunikasi verbal dengan menggunakan metode : tausiyah, amtsal dan diskusi. Konten komunikasi pendidikan orang tua dan anak dari persfekrif AlQur‟an antara lain: ridha‟, khauf (takut) dan raja‟ (harap), akidah, birr walidain, creative thinking (berpikir kreatif) dan akhlak mulia yang terdiri dari: shalat, takwa dan sabar.     Globalization has become one of the most widely used buzzwords of the late twentieth century and the early twenty-first century. People discuss them with passion, concern and sometimes disappointment. Globalization takes numerous forms, from wider coverage of trade to deeper foreign direct investment and from broader technology dissemination to larger migration of labor. Despite the hype and excitement, globalization from economic point of view simply means economic integration. In this thesis, new results are provided on properties and implications of economic integration concerning distribution of produc tion, relative growth, income inequality and exchange rates dynamics. In this section the relevance of the research is emphasized and the structure of the thesis is described.Vanuit een economisch gezichtspunt betekent globalisering simpelweg economische integratie. Kapitaalmarktintegratie blijkt niets te veranderen aan de inkomensverdeling, in zowel kapitaal exporterende als kapitaal importerende landen. Munandar stelt dat economische integratie leidt tot een situatie waarin het aandeel in de totale productie van elk lid van een geïntegreerde economie gelijk zal zijn aan zijn aandeel in de voorraad productieve factor van de geïntegreerde economie. Hij verwacht dat op lange termijn de inkomensongelijkheid bij iedere generatie zal afnemen door nivellering van de lonen. Bovendien geeft Munandar door middel van een aantal los van elkaar te lezen essays de mogelijkheid om een blik te werpen in de 'black box' van globalisering
