Application of AIoT in Smart Retailing and Consumer Insights
Rapid developments in technology are causing a revolution in retail. In order to remain competitive and enhance the shopping experience for customers, retailers are utilizing new technologies. These technical advancements are helping retailers to stay ahead of the competition, retailers are increasingly using Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) to help them comprehend the millions of data points that are present in their stores and transform them into useful information that will enable them to align the business more quickly and effectively for the required changes. At a staggering CAGR of 21.8%, the smart retail market is expected to rise at a quick pace, from roughly 140.6 billion by 2030. This chapter illustrates how retail establishments can benefit from a potent digital transformation experience through the combination of AI & IoT (AIoT). Additionally, this chapter explores the advantages, difficulties, and prospects of AIoT in consumer insights and smart retailing, emphasizing its influence on the direction of the retail sector
The Influence of Al-Ghazzali's Rationality in Islamic Education
This research is motivated by the need to understand the contribution of Al-Ghazzali's thought in Islamic education, particularly regarding the concept of rationality that integrates reason and revelation. Al-Ghazzali's rationality is considered crucial in addressing the challenges of the modernization of Islamic education, which demands a balance between spiritual and intellectual values. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of Al-Ghazzali's rationality on curriculum development, learning methods, and character formation in Islamic education. The method employed is qualitative research with a library research approach, focusing on content analysis of various relevant primary and secondary sources. Data were collected through documentation techniques and literature studies from books, journals, and scientific articles related to Al-Ghazzali's thought and Islamic education. Data analysis was conducted inductively by grouping main themes that illustrate the relationship between Al-Ghazzali's rationality and Islamic educational practices. The findings indicate that Al-Ghazzali's rationality plays a central role in building the foundation of holistic Islamic education, harmonizing reason and revelation. His thought encourages the use of reflective learning methods and an integrative curriculum that combines religious sciences with general knowledge, while also emphasizing character formation based on Islamic values. In conclusion, the application of Al-Ghazzali's rationality enriches modern Islamic education by balancing the intellectual and spiritual aspects of students. Recommendations for further research include conducting empirical studies to test the direct implementation of Al-Ghazzali's thought in contemporary educational contexts and comprehensively evaluating its impact on the quality of education and student character
The role of 6G in green energy generation
This chapter explores the potential impact of 6G technology on green energy generation. It outlines the benefits of using 6G in energy generation systems and discusses how 6G-supported edge computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can revolutionize clean energy generation. It also highlights the role of 6G-based edge computing and AI in smart grids (SGs), and how they can optimize renewable energy generation and management. Additionally, addresses the security challenges that IT-based SGs face and how 6G technology can make them safer and more reliable. Furthermore, the chapter introduces the concept of peer-to-peer (P2P) communication, which is another powerful technology supported by 6G. Finally, it combines the various 6G-supported technologies discussed into a comprehensive SG called the Energy Internet (EI). Overall, this chapter offers insights into the potential of 6G technology to enhance the efficiency and environmental friendliness of energy generation systems, paving the way for greener for a greener and more sustainable energy future
Pharmacoinformatics approach for investigation of alternative potential hepatitis C virus nonstructural protein 5B inhibitors

It is a highly variable virus, having a rapid reproduction and evolution rate. The variability of genomes is due to hasty replication catalyzed by nonstructural protein 5B (NS5B) which is also a potential target site for the development of anti-HCV agents. Recently, the US Food and Drug Administration approved sofosbuvir as a novel oral NS5B inhibitor for the treatment of HCV. Unfortunately, it is much highlighted for its pricing issues. Hence, there is an urgent need to scrutinize alternate therapies against HCV that are available at affordable price and do not have associated side effects. Such a need is crucial especially in underdeveloped countries. The search for various new bioactive compounds from plants is a key part of pharmaceutical research. In the current study, we applied a pharmacoinformatics-based approach for the identification of active plant-derived compounds against NS5B. The results were compared to docking results of sofosbuvir. The lead compounds with high-binding ligands were further analyzed for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters based on in silico absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity (ADMET) profile. The results showed the potential alternative lead compounds that can be developed into commercial drugs having high binding energy and promising ADMET properties. Keywords: hepatitis C, NS5B inhibitors, molecular docking, AutoDock Vina, ADMET, sofosbuvir, phytochemical
