    No full text
The LML dataset presented in this paper contains both categorical and continuous data for 7 meta-learning parameters: age, gender, degree of illusion of competence, sleep duration, chronotype, experience of imposter phenomenon and multiple intelligence. Convenience sampling and simple random sampling method are used to structure the volunteered anonymous online survey data collection project for LML dataset creation. Survey questionnaires are set to explore adult learners' (age over 18) meta-learning parameters. The responses from the 54 survey questionnaires contains raw data from 1021 current university students from 11 universities of Bangladesh. Mean and standard deviation for the participant's baseline attributes are given for scale parameters, and frequency and percentage are calculated for categorical parameters. Academic curriculum, courses as well as professional training materials can be reviewed and re-designed with focusing on the diversity of learners. How the designed courses will be learned by learners along with how they will be taught is a significant point for education in any discipline. As the survey questionnaires are set for adult learners and only current university students have participated in this survey, this dataset is appropriate for study andragogy and heutagogy but pedagogy. Ethics statements Ethical approval (Involvement of Human Subjects) were obtained from the Biosafety, Biosecurity and Ethical Clearance Committee, Jahangirnagar University (reference no. is BBEC,JU/M 2022/01 (18)). The dataset presented in this article is open for public access. It is mandatory to follow the correct citation guidelines when using this LML dataset. The ultimate focus of an enterprise is to earn handsome revenue for which different strategies are developed and used by the organizations. A big challenge which service organizations are facing is the factor of perishability where on one side they have to keep the customers happy and on the other they have to achieve their targets. Hotel industry is one of the most sensitive industries where customers are more time sensitive giving a good sign to the managers for maximization of revenue. By taking the advantage of the time, creative managers emphasize on the revenue/yield maximization. This study is conducted to explore the impact of creativity on yield management in hotel industry of Pakistan. Quantitative data approach was used and data was gathered through close-ended questionnaire by using stratified sampling technique from 128 professionals (sample size) working in five stars, four stars and three stars hotels in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Findings indicate that the overall creativity has a significant impact on yield management and creativity is likely to be emerged if employees are given a tension free environment, support by the management, rewards against successive creative ideas and opportunity for ideas sharing. Since hotel industry in Pakistan is undergoing a process of increased competition, therefore, the adoption and implementation of yield management is identified as a very essential tool for survival. It has also been observed that, for proper yield management implementation, hotel industry needs to focus on employees’ creativity

This is a research based thesis which focuses on market research in fast food restaurants. The main purpose of this research is to understand customer’s expectations in terms of services, menu items, and related ethical aspects. Another objective of this thesis is to evaluate the challenges for a startup restaurant based on market analysis of existing fast food market in capital region of Finland. The detailed study of different market research methods was performed to develop the market research methodology suitable for the fast food restaurant business. After thoroughly studying different market research methods, the research was divided into two levels: micro and macro. The micro level market research focused on the factors which can be controlled by the entrepreneur, while the macro level market research focused on the factors which cannot be controlled by the entrepreneur. For micro level market research, qualitative research approach was used to understand the factors which can help to attract the customers in fast food business. The non-participant observation method was employed to rate and record customer satisfaction for this purpose. This observation was performed in international fast food chain located in capital region of Finland. For macro level market research, quantitative and qualitative research approaches were used to understand the challenges for a startup restaurant. The PESTEL and Porter’s Five Forces analysis tools were used in this case. Market research results are quite encouraging for restaurant business in Finland during the past few years. The analysis of these results confirms that opening a fast food restaurant in the capital of Finland has good chance of success. The author recommends to include hamburgers in the menu and allow the customers to see the preparation process and customize the ingredients according personal choices

Tazkra )Autobiographical Accounts, Memoir) is such a literary form which presents the autobiography of the poets as well as their poetry. It is the progressive form of Diary. The art of Tazkra writing in Urdu was borrowed from Persian. Basically the art of Tazkra writing was started in the reign of Mir Taqi Mir and Khawaja Mir Dard. To analyse the educational, literary, ethical and civilized atmosphere of any society in a better way, it is necessary to assess the conditions and thought patterns of half of its population (females). Historians and Tazkra writers have written the autobiography and poetry of the male poets diligently but the female poetesses are almsot neglected or given partially importance. Some Tazkra writers have given special coverage to these poetesses. Muhammad Abdul Hayee is such a writer who wrote "Shamim-e-Sukhan" in which he assessed some poetesses

Associations of remote mental healthcare with clinical outcomes: a natural language processing enriched electronic health record data study protocol

    No full text
Introduction: People often experience significant difficulties in receiving mental healthcare due to insufficient resources, stigma and lack of access to care. Remote care technology has the potential to overcome these barriers by reducing travel time and increasing frequency of contact with patients. However, the safe delivery of remote mental healthcare requires evidence on which aspects of care are suitable for remote delivery and which are better served by in-person care. We aim to investigate clinical and demographic associations with remote mental healthcare in a large electronic health record (EHR) dataset and the degree to which remote care is associated with differences in clinical outcomes using natural language processing (NLP) derived EHR data. Methods and analysis: Deidentified EHR data, derived from the South London and Maudsley (SLaM) National Health Service Foundation Trust Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Case Register, will be extracted using the Clinical Record Interactive Search tool for all patients receiving mental healthcare between 1 January 2019 and 31 March 2022. First, data on a retrospective, longitudinal cohort of around 80 000 patients will be analysed using descriptive statistics to investigate clinical and demographic associations with remote mental healthcare and multivariable Cox regression to compare clinical outcomes of remote versus in-person assessments. Second, NLP models that have been previously developed to extract mental health symptom data will be applied to around 5 million documents to analyse the variation in content of remote versus in-person assessments. Ethics and dissemination: The SLaM BRC Case Register and Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) tool have received ethical approval as a deidentified dataset (including NLP-derived data from unstructured free text documents) for secondary mental health research from Oxfordshire REC C (Ref: 18/SC/0372). The study has received approval from the SLaM CRIS Oversight Committee. Study findings will be disseminated through peer-reviewed, open access journal articles and service user and carer advisory groups
