Light automation system in classroom / Muhammad Nabil Malip
The classroom is where the teaching and learning process takes place between lecturer and students in educational institutions. The classroom lighting systems play an essential role in maintaining the nature teaching for visual pleasantness and concentration of the teacher and students. However, most of the facilities are controlled manually, which causes inconvenience to users. The problem faced by FSKM is the light in the classroom always turn on even though the class is unoccupied. Thus, it will contribute to electricity wastage and high electricity bills every month. With the emerging of Internet of Thing (IoT), the project proposes the Light Automation System to reduce electricity waste. The system consists of two main components which is Passive Infra-Red (PIR) sensor to detect human motion produced and Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) to measure the intensity of light in the surrounding. By installing the two components, the light will switch on only when PIR detects motion produced and LDR detects the amount of light intensity in the surrounding area. However, when the PIR detects human motion but the LDR detect enough light intensity, the light will switch “OFF”. The objectives of this project are to identify the user requirement, design and develop the Light Automation systems in the classroom. The project scope is concentrated in the classroom of FSKM only. Programs language that will be used is python since python widely used on the Internet of Thing (IoT) programming. The platform that will be used to develop the system is Arduino IDE. This project used the Agile as the methodology approach to the development of Light Automation System. The Agile methodology consists of 6 phases, but for this project, it only requires four phases which is requirement, design, development and testing phase. Based on the result of user testing, it shows positive feedback from the user. In conclusion, Light Automation System may able to help FSKM in reducing the electricity wastage
Economical biomass cat litter using eggshell / Muhammad Nabil Ahmad Sukri
Most commercially produced clay cat litters such as bentonite clay cat litter nowadays have raised issues to pet owners since they are toxic, non-biodegradable and have no natural odor controlling features. Thus, a study to develop litter from biomass was carried out to produce a cat litter from biomass that is biodegradable, scoopable, odor control and economical properties in order to overcome those problems. In this study, biomass materials; eggshell were processed into cat litter formulations and the results were compared. Firstly, the eggshell were cleaned properly and dried to remove moisture content and grinded to reduce their particle size. Then, the grinded eggshells were then mixed with xanthan gum as clumping agent, sodium bicarbonate as deodorizer, and glycerol as dust retardant to form mixtures of cat litter. For the purpose of enhancing the adsorptivity of the cat litter and flushability, hydrogel is added into cat litter formulations. Two types of hydrogel were used into this eggshell cat litter where a superabsorbent (carboxymethylcellulose/starch hydrogel) and a consecutive hydrogel biochar product were added into 2 different samples of eggshell cat litter. The samples were tested to compare with all of those raw materials in terms of their clumping activity, absorption capacity and dust formation

During my six-month internship in the Licensing Department at Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB), I had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into municipal licensing operations and contribute meaningfully to the department’s functions. This experience enhanced my understanding of local government processes while enabling me to develop skills relevant to licensing administration and public service. As an intern, I was there for eligibility application processing and ensured adherence with various municipal regulations, accurate record-keeping in the department, and supervising different levels of verification of documents and standards. Luckily, I worked with peers and supervisors effectively because of participation in community outreach programs that serve as a guide for applicants while doing his/her licensing process. It was purely about the inquiries and resolutions of all issues pertaining to licensing. A person under this internship would have to master both verbal and written communication skills along with attention to detail, as the information most surely has to be accurate while remaining compliant with municipal regulations. Colleagues got involved in designing methods to ease workflow improvement and amendments to internal process updating that would end up trimming down the application processing turnaround time. Learning the ropes in the business was priceless, as I now understand just how critical licensing is to an orderly business environment and compliance in the community. In addition, my problem-solving skills were enhanced by this experience, and it will help me greatly in my future career. In short, my stay at the Licensing Department of MBJB was certainly informative and rewarding. I've learned many exciting things, inculcated skills in a practical context of use and purpose for my career goals, along with a culture to value the pivotal role of local government in community-based development
Development of can recycler vending machine / Muhammad Nabil Irfan Norisham
My project presents you a new way of recycling aluminium cans instead of throwing away without benefits. By using a pneumatic system and Arduino, customer can recycle their tin cans with a profit. People had been recycling tin cans from a long time ago using old method, with my machine, customers can earn money and make the job for the recycle centre easier by collecting crushed tin cans. This project also had been through research and development for its material, strengths, durability, material costings, thus resulting in an efficient and quality product for customers. This project will be going through some processes to complete the whole machine, which will be explained in the methodology part. Put on a nutshell, based on the developed system, authors discussed the pros and cons and points for each of the methods, processes, application so it works perfectly for the users and maybe would contribute to the communit

This small, home-based business is located in Puncak Alam, Selangor, and was established a few months ago in 2023. Design, analysis and fabrication of wire cutting machine / Muhammad Nabil Saeman
Nowadays, almost all of people out there use manual wire cutter to cut wires that are uses more energy than the automatic wire cutter. If use use the manual cutter for a long time, the probability for hand injuries is much higher. This project basically gave an initial theme that how we can approach to solve this kind of problems. In addition of that, a designated automatic wire machine is created which give more accuracy and reduces the human error, manpower, reliable work done and save the wastage of wire. This product can help reduce the time of cutting wires and produce better result. Basically, the function of this wire cutting machine are same with the manual wire cutter but with different features. Users must put input of number of wires and length of wires that need to cut. This automatic machine is fully electric and have microprocessors. It features LCD display for set up and its operation. There are three objectives in this project which are to design and develop an automatic wire cutting machine to achieve low cost cutting. A machine that are portable and easy to carry around can give benefits to people. Secondly, to help more people to cut wire accurately which will give them better finish of wires produced. Thirdly, to reduce the time of cutting wire which are faster than manually doing it
