Role of entrepreneurial orientation in developing entrepreneurial competencies: contingent influence of environmental turbulence / Muhammad Hanif ... [et al.]
Entrepreneurship has an integral role in the development of the country’s economy. In achieving firm success, the role of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and entrepreneurial competencies (EC) is an important mechanism to explore. In this study, a model was developed to examine the consequential influence of EO on ECs and environmental turbulence (ET) as a moderator. The population of the study were entrepreneurs from different industries in Pakistan. Based on the Resource-Based view (RBV) and Giessen Amsterdam Model (GAM), a survey of 600 entrepreneurs was conducted to collect data and 422 valid responses were analyzed using Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP). Results suggest a significant influence of EO on EC. ET also has a significant moderating role on the aforementioned relationship. Further, this study concluded that in times of higher ET, firms with an EO have a good chance of survival. In this respect, entrepreneurs are advised to develop and maintain an EO. Policy makers are encouraged to provide support to entrepreneurs during times of high environmental turbulence. Future studies can look at the role of market orientation on EC, as further explore the role of E
Service innovation and service innovation performance: A study of banking services
This study empirically examines the relationship between service innovation and service innovation performance. Typology of service innovation (SI) based on new service offering/product (NSO), new service process (NSP) and new service business model (NSBM)is tested for their likely effect on service innovation performance (SIP) of banks from a developing country context in the face of business environment (BE) characterized by dynamism and competitiveness. It uses quantitative data gathered through cross-sectional self-administered survey questionnaire on a 5 -point Likert-type scale from a sample of 220 managers from the banking organizations to predict the impact of service innovation on service innovation performance. Data are analyzed through SPSS-19 and Amos-18 by means of bivariate correlation and regression. Results indicate a strong impact of multi-dimensional service innovation on service innovation performance. Each dimension of service innovation significantly predicts service innovation performance. Business environment theorized in terms of competition and uncertainty fails to moderate the relationship between service innovation and service innovation performance. In this way, this study offers many valuable insights in the field of service innovation and performance management areas which can be valuable to several stakeholders such as researchers, practitioners and policy makers in developing and implementing optimum service innovation strategies to augment and synergize performance of their services

When technology-based learning is the only option : evaluating perceived usefulness of social media
During unusual times involving discontinued face to face sessions in formal education settings, mobile learning (m-learning) involving social networking sites has become a popular alternative since students are always in possession of handheld electronic devices. When connection through technology was the only option due to social distancing in current pandemic, students who were already active extensive users of social networks found online learning as a new way of getting formal education. The objective of this study was to explore how the state of student’s behavioral intention for social media based online learning is driven by external factors like subjective norm and self-efficacy. To fulfill this aim, this study uses a quantitative approach to study the factors that mediate the decision behavior of students towards social media employed as a learning platform and use of m-learning involving social networks. A sample of management science students (n= 255) from four universities participated in the research. Analysis of data suggested that subjective norm and self-efficacy were significant predictors for student participation in e-learning initiatives involving social media and networks. The proposed serial mediation model revealed that self-efficacy and perceived usefulness in that order were playing a positive significant role in student use of social networking for learning. No significant differences were observed between either gender when self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, and use of social media in education were considered. © 202

O Islão na conjuntura política internacional
A presente investigação procurou fazer uma análise da simbiose do Islão real,
especificamente, abordando as verdadeiras e reais temáticas do Islão
propriamente dito. A
algumas interpretações erradas e falsas do Islão real.
