Design and structural analysis of prayer chair / Muhammad Fikri Hashim
Full text linkThe aim of this prayer chair's design is to offer a solution for muslims who have experiencing some physical disabilities or old aged to perform their solah. Changes in dietary habits and sedentary lifestyle of Malaysian resulting to increased prevalence of chronic diseases amongst the Malaysian further inspired to materialize with this idea. This research project will focus on designing a prayer chair using CATIA and analyzing its structural performance using finite element software, i.e. ANSYS. Data for initial design stage were obtained from previous studies on the anthropometry dimensions of older Malaysians. From here, selection of the data emphasized on the seat design requirements such as sitting shoulder height for seat back lateral support, buttock to popliteal length for thigh support and sitting hip breadth for cushion width. These data were then translated into prayer chair using CAD software, CATIA V5R18. Foldable concept was adopted in this prayer chair design in meeting easy handling and storing. The structural analyses were performed using ANSYS software to determine the deformation and Von Mises Stress. Analysis were done based on the simulated result obtained from the ANSYS software and compared against the minimum load requirement for this prayer chair design as benchmark in the previous studies done by other researchers. The researcher makes this new product due to ease parent nowadays and increases the level of parent’s observation towards their children. This new creation product produced according to a problem arises among the parents in this current time, and also from the market survey that has been conducted by the researcher via the questionnaire distributed. 20 number of respondent were giving a good response towards this study in helping the researcher gain good information related. This new product was based on the existing product which is a camera, but in this study, it has been innovated by the researcher idea and become a ‘Smart Baby Sleep’. Target market were consists of parents which is the one that is needed help in order to manage and monitor their children during the night. Challenge faced by parents nowadays are a little bit harder due to this couple need to work in the morning while in the night they have to manage and monitor their children. Since many parents stated that they have to stay awake during the night to let their baby sleep tight. This new product was created and innovate to lessen their burden

So, for this purpose, I got the opportunity to research company which manufactured the same product that I want to develop, which is Pensonic Holdings Berhad, currently based in Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang. For the first part of the project report, the general data of the company has been collected. Information is gathered through many sources as well. In the second part of the report, contains the particular subject study. The objective of the project is to work on the background of the company, products and services that Pensonic provides. Next, the study of the technology to manufacture the home electrical appliances, as well as business, marketing and operational strategy used by the company to promote their products which is for me quite interesting. Besides that, I analyzed the strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of this company by using SWOT analysis. So, from the needs and demands of the existing consumers of this company, I analyzed and find solutions to overwhelmed and to fulfil their needs and making new innovation in New Product Development task. So lastly, we need to know that the goals indicate what a business unit wants to achieve. So, every business must plan a strategy for accomplishing its goals which consists of an advertising strategy and effective management

Operasional Dan Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) terhadap profitabilitas pada
Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia Pada Masa Covid-19. Jenis penelitian adalah
kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Bank Umum Syariah di
Indonesia. Metode pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive
sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 perusahaan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan

User perception and satisfaction towards facilities of private highways in Malaysia / Muhammad Fikri Jamari
Full text linkThis thesis is about a study of user perception and satisfaction towards facilities of highways in Malaysia. In this study, there are three highways concessionaire companies chosen as a case study which LATAR Expressway, Guthrie Corridor Expressway and LEKAS Expressway. User of highways will be the key to succeed this study where the questionnaires will be distributed to them and most of information will be asked for them and there are interview of officer in-charge at highway concessionaires companies. Issues that always arise involving highway-care related facilities are provided by the highway concessionaire. Then, there are issues of upgrading the facilities of North South Highway along the highway with cost of RM41 million and issues of safety where which highway users complained about the facilities that not functioned well and others issue which brings to the making of this study. This study was conducted to identify the facilities provided by the highway concessionaires which are not all the same highway facilities. For example, LEKAS Expressway and Guthrie Corridor Expressway have laybys while LATAR Expressway not has laybys and other facilities. Then, there are results of user perception and satisfaction where this results shows the best highways and their reputations on how they handle their facilities and properties to ensure the satisfaction of user of their highways and by referring these results of users perception and satisfaction, there are recommendation provided to ensure the highways can kept their reputation and performance to the maximum. Lastly, how the highway concession company manages their properties. They need to fulfill all the requirements outlines by authorities which are Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and need to maintain and upgrade the facilities based on the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure that users that use their facilities will satisfy and not bear any problems. Optimization of turning operation toward surface quality using Response Surface Methodology (RSM) / Muhammad Fikri Mohamad Fuad
Full text linkTurning operation plays significant role in manufacturing industry especially to fabricate machined parts. Meanwhile surface quality is one of the important aspects to measure the performance of lathe machine. This research experimentally investigated the effect of turning parameters which are feed rate, cutting speed and depth of cut toward surface roughness and machining time by using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Central Composite Design (CCD) was chosen to design 15 set of experiments for 3 continuous factors. The mild steel was chosen as work material and had been turning under hot facing operation on conventional JET Lathe machine. The cutting tool used for this experiment was Tungsten Carbide insert. The experimental results were analyzed using a statistical Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and developed mathematical model for surface roughness. With accuracy of 94.3% by compared experimental and theoretical data, the model can be verified as valid. The results indicate that feed rate give most influence factor to the surface roughness rather than cutting speed and depth of cut. Furthermore, for optimize condition, maximum cutting speed, minimum feed rate and depth of cut can increase the surface quality of machined parts. In addition, the analysis also generated the relationship between cutting parameters and machining time. It is show that the feed rate and cutting speed influenced the machining time
Antiproliferative activity from various fraction chloroform extract of muntingia calabura / Muhammad Fikri Musa
Full text linkThe aim of the present study is to determine the in vitro antiproliferative activity of chloroform extract of Muntingia calabura leaves (CEMC) and its fractions against human acute myelocytic leukemia (HL-60), human lung adenocarcinoma epithelial (A549) and human breast adrenocarcinoma (MCF-7) cell lines using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-il)-2, 5-diphenil tetrazolium bromide (MTT) kit assay. The diluted ranges of extract were added to each well and the final concentrations of the test extracts were 1.56, 3.13, 6.25, 12.50, 25.00, and 50.00 µg/ml. CEMC possessed antiproliferative activity only against HL-60 with an IC50 of 41.25 µg/ml with no effect seen against normal fibroblast (3T3) cell line. Fractionation of CEMC yielded eleven (11) fractions whereby only 3 fractions, namely F2, F4 and F5 fractions showed antiproliferative activity on the cancer cell but do not inhibit the proliferation of 3T3 cells, thus, indicating its safety. F2 was effective against MCF-7 (IC50 of 9.75 µg/ml), HL-60 (IC50 of 12.50 µg/ml) and A549 (IC50 of 31.20 µg/ml); F4 was effective against HL60 (IC50 of 11.25 µg/ml), A549 (IC50 of 37.07 µg/ml) and MCF7 (ICso of 46.00 µg/ml) and; F5 exerted antiproliferative activity against HL-60 (IC50 of 11.25 µg/ml) and A549 (ICso of 49.50 µg/ml). In conclusion, CEMC possess potential anticancer activity that needs to be further explored
