Semakin tingginya tingkat persaingan, proses modernisasi sektor kewirausahaan yang semakin cepat dan kurangnya kemampuan untuk menyikapi kondisi tersebut berdampak terhadap keberlangsungan usaha yang dijalankan oleh pelaku UMKM Warung Kopi di Kota Medan. Maka, studi mengenai Pengaruh Modernitas Sikap Kewirausahaan Terhadap Keberhasilan UMKM di Kota Medan perlu dilakukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik wirausaha pelaku UMKM warung kopi di Kota Medan, menganalisis tingkat modernitas sikap kewirausahaan pelaku usaha warung kopi di Kota Medan, menganalisis tingkat keberhasilan usaha warung kopi di kota medan. menganalisis pengaruh modernitas sikap kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan UMKM warung kopi di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 36 UMKM warung kopi binaan dinas koperasi dan UKM Kota Medan. Metode interval kelas skala likert digunakan untuk menganalisis tingkat modernitas sikap kewirausahaan dan keberhasilan UMKM Warung Kopi di Kota Medan, teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling-Parsial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan perhitungan interval kelas pada skala likert tingkat modernitas sikap kewirausahaan dan keberhasilam usaha memiliki nilai dengan kategori tinggi. Uji t dan p value menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan antara Modernitas Sikap Kewirausahaan dengan Keberhasilan UMKM warung Kopi di Kota Medan.     53 HalamanPenelitian ini menganalisis tentang asimetri harga gula dan peramalan harga gula pada tingkat produsen dan konsumen di provinsi Sumatera Utara. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data harga gula di tingkat produsen dan konsumen dari januari 2019 sampai desember 2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis ini yaitu Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) dan ARIMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transmisi harga gula di tingkat produsen terhadap harga gula di tingkat konsumen bersifat asimetris pada jangka panjang dan simetris jangka pendek. Sedangkan transmisi harga di tingkat konsumen terhadap harga di tingkat produsen bersifat asimetris pada jangka panjang dan jangka pendek. Hasil peramalan harga gula pada tingkat produsen dan konsumen di provinsi Sumatera Utara mulai januari 2023-desember 2023 menunjukkan terjadi kenaikan harga pada setiap bulannya. This study analyzes the sugar price asymmetry and sugar price forecasting at the producer and consumer levels in North Sumatra province. The data used in this study is sugar price data at the producer and consumer level from January 2019 to December 2022. The method used in this analysis is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) and ARIMA. The research results show that transmission of sugar prices at the producer level to sugar prices at the consumer level is asymmetric in the long term and symmetric in the short term. Meanwhile, price transmission at the consumer level to prices at the producer level is asymmetric in the long term and short term.     The purpose of this study was to determine whether defoliation, a condition of stress caused by Choristoneura fumiferana herbivory, induces a disturbed pathologic condition in presumably normal tissue produced by the affected balsam fir trees. Techniques used in this investigation included dry weight determination, light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and biochemical and physical analyses.Terminal branch sections that contained shoots with buds and needles were cut from the upper crown on opposite sides of the tree. Collections were made from several previously selected trees in Vermont during April, June and July. The collected materials were labelled, placed in plastic bags and returned to the laboratory for histological and electron microscopic studies. The shoots derived from buds of stressed trees were shorter and produced fewer needles than shoots derived from equivalent position in nondefoliated buds. Unlike July-collected buds, the April buds did not exhibit distinct apical meristem zonation. The ultrastructural study of defoliated April-collected buds differed from nondefoliated buds, in that nondefoliated buds, were very active prior to bud burst and shoot elongation. This activity was indicated by the substantial increase in the number of Golgi-associated vesicles, several large vacuoles with heavy electron dense granular inclusions, abundant rough endoplasmic reticulum, proplastids and cell plate formation. Defoliated bud cells, unlike the nondefoliated bud cells did not contain a high population of cells exhibiting Golgi-associated rich regions, mitochondria, and apparent ce 11 p 1 ate formation. The absence or reduced presence of these metabolic indicators, in defoliated Aprilcollected buds suggest that the defoliated buds are metabolically disturbed. The eventual elongation of shoots of reduced length and number of needles as observed in June-collected buds indicates that activity was not completely inhibited in defoliated buds. The smaller bud size in defoliated balsam fir could also mean that prior accumulation of substances by the bud was effectua1 in that bud development may have been delayed.     108 HalamanTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalis sistem pemasaran pasar kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara menggunakan pendekatan structure, conduct and performance untuk: (1) Menganalisis struktur pasar kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. (2) Menganalisis perilaku pasar kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. (3) Menganalisis marjin dan farmer’s share petani agar diketahui kinerja pasar kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis struktur pasar yang dilihat dari pangsa pasar, konsentrasi pasar dan hambatan masuk pasar. Analisis perilaku pasar dilihat dari saluran pemasaran dan marketing mix 7P (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physicale evidence). Analisis kinerja pasar dilihat dari bagian marjin pemasaran, farmer’s share dan efisiensi pemasaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, struktur pasar kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara menunjukkan pangsa pasar pada tingkat petani sebesar 0,76%, pedagang pengumpul 16,66% dan pedagang besar 82,63% pada tingkat petani dan pedagang pengumpul pasar bersifat persaingan sempurna, sedangkapa pedagang besar bersifat pasar oligopoli ketat. Konsentrasi pasar pada tingkat petani dengan nilai CR4 sebesar 76,70%, pedagang pengumpul dengan nilai CR4 sebesar 71,07%, dan pedagang besar (PKS) dengan nilai CR4 sebesar 100% pada konsentrasi pasar pada tingkat petani dan pedagang pengumpul pasar bersifat oligopoli ketat, sedangkapa pedagang besar bersifat pasar monopoli. Sementara itu untuk nilai MES pada tingkat petani yaitu sebesar 49,43%, pedagang pengumpul sebesar 24,80%, sedangkan untuk pedagang besar yaitu sebesar 100% sehingga bisa dikatakan bahwa hambatan masuk pasar tinggi. Perilaku pasar kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara dapat dilihat dari saluran pemasarannya, saluran pemasaran hanya ada satu. Ada beberapa lembaga pemasaran yaitu petani, pedagang pengumpul dan pedagang besar (PKS). Kemudian dapat dilihat dari marketing mix 7P, pada pemasaran kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara sesuai dengan kesepakatan yang dibuat oleh petani, pedagang pengumpul dan pedagang besar. Analisis kinerja pasar (Market Performance) kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara menunjukkan terdapat 3 jalur pemasaran dengan margin yang berbeda. Total marjin tertinggi terdapat pada saluran pemasaran III yaitu sebesar Rp. 3.880/Kg, semakin banyak lembaga pemasaran yang terlibat maka semakin tinggi marjin pemasaran dan semakin rendah bagian petani. Saluran pemasaran yang paling efisien adalah saluran pemasaran I (petani-pedagang besar). The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance marketing system for the smallholder oil palm market in North Labuhanbatu District using a structure, conduct and performance approach to: (1) Analyze the structure of the palm oil market in North Labuhanbatu District. (2) Analyzing the behavior of the people's palm oil market in North Labuhanbatu District. (3) Analyzing farmer's margin and farmer's share in order to know the performance of the people's palm oil market in North Labuhanbatu Regency. The data analysis method used in this study is the analysis of market structure as seen from market share, market concentration and barriers to market entry. Analysis of market behavior seen from marketing channels and marketing mix 7P (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence). Analysis of market performance seen from the marketing margin, farmer's share and marketing efficiency. Based on the results of research conducted, the structure of the smallholder palm market in North Labuhanbatu District shows a market share at the farmer level of 0.76%, 16.66% for collector traders and 82.63% for wholesalers at the farmer level and market collectors are perfect competition , while large traders are tight oligopoly markets. Market concentration at the farm level with a CR4 value of 76.70%, collector traders with a CR4 value of 71.07%, and wholesalers (PKS) with a CR4 value of 100% at market concentration at the farmer level and market collectors are strictly oligopoly , while large traders are monopolistic markets. Meanwhile, the MES value at the farm level is 49.43%, for collectors is 24.80%, while for wholesalers it is 100% so that it can be said that the barriers to market entry are high. The behavior of the people's palm oil market in North Labuhanbatu Regency can be seen from its marketing channels, there is only one marketing channel. There are several marketing institutions, namely farmers, collectors and wholesalers (PKS). Then it can be seen from the 7P marketing mix, in the marketing of smallholder oil palm in North Labuhanbatu Regency in accordance with the agreements made by farmers, collectors and wholesalers. Analysis of market performance (Market Performance) of smallholder oil palm in North Labuhanbatu District shows that there are 3 marketing channels with different margins. The highest total margin is in marketing channel III, which is Rp. 3.880/Kg, the more marketing agencies involved, the higher the marketing margin and the lower the farmer's share.     132 HalamanTujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat bagaimana analisis rantai nilai cabai merah di Desa Sidodadi Ramunia Kecamatan Beringin dengan Mnggunakan analisis pemetaan (mapping), tatakelola (governance), dan peningkatan (upgrading) rantai nilai cabai merah. Cabai Merah (Capsicum annuum L.) yang merupakan salah satu komoditas strategis yang diperhtikan oleh pemerintah berkaitan dengan budidaya hingga pasca panen. Sebagai komditas strategis tentunya sangat memberi keuntungan yang lebih bagi elaku yang terlibat dalam aliran rantai nilai pemasaran cabai merah, namun pada kenyataannya petani cabai merah masih banyak yang mengeluh dengan usahatani cabai merah dengan ungkapan bahwa harga jual yang tidak sesuai dengan modal yang telah dikeluarkan dalam budidaya. Serta pemasaran yang terjadi pada Desa Sidodadi Ramunia Kecamatan Beringin yang belum efektif dan dilakukan secara tepat, mulai dari produk segar hingga menjadi produk turunan cabai merah yang siap dikonsumsi oleh konsumen. Mapping pada aliran rantai nilai cabai merah diketahui bahwa jumlah volume produk yang dihasilkan oleh 30 petani dengan luas lahan yang berbeda beda yaitu dengan total 163.800 kg dengan menjualnya ke pedagang pengepul serta STA dan dengan tercipta hubungan dalam transaksi yang berbeda-beda. Governance pada aliran rantai nilai cabai merah yang terbentuk yaitu dengan tipe market yang artinya bahwa tipe market ini merupakan transaksi yang sangat sederhana serta informasi yang ada ditarsmisikan dengan mudah, biaya yang dibutuhkan murah, dan pelaku yang terlibat tidak terikat dengan perjanjian karena fokus utama dari kegiatan ini ialah harga dari produk. Upgrading pada aliran rantai nilai cabai merah yaitu perlunya ditingkatkan proses pada setiap elaku yang terlibat dengan adanya dorongan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah. Karena komoditas ini meruakan komoditas yang strategis dan harus dipantau pergerakannya. As a strategic commodity, of course it provides more benefits for those involved in the red chili marketing value chain flow, but in reality many red chili farmers still complain about red chili farming by saying that the selling price does not match the capital that has been spent on cultivation. . As well as the marketing that occurred in Sidodadi Ramunia Village, Beringin District, which was not effective and carried out properly, starting from fresh shows that the total volume of product produced by 30 farmers with different land areas is a total of 163,800 kg by selling it to collectors and STA and by creating relationships in different transactions. Governance in the red chili value chain that is formed is the market type which means that this type of market is a very simple transaction and the information is transmitted easily, the costs required are cheap, and the actors involved are not bound by an agreement because the main focus of the activity this is the price of the product. Upgrading the flow of the red chili value chain is the need to improve the process for each actor involved with the encouragement given by the government.     Arief Muhazir Insandi, Melakukan penelitian dengan judul,”Analisis Potensi Bisnis Pemanfaatan Limbah Agrobisnis (Sekam Padi Dan Tongkol Jagung) Menjadi Energi Alternatif Di Kecamatan Tanah Jawa Kabupaten Simalungun. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 6 (enam) bulan, mulai bulan Juli 2016 s.d bulan Desember 2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha kilang padi dan kilang jagung yang tersebar di Kecamatan Tanah Jawa, Kabupaten Simalungun. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan yaitu metode sampel jenuh yaitu proses pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dengan sengaja dimana karena jumlah populasi kecil maka semua populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Sampel dari kilang padi sebanyak 2kilang sedang sampel dari kilang jagung sebanyak 4 kilang. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis pendapatan, analisis finansial kelayakan usaha, dan analisis sensitivitas. Hasil Penelitian: kapasitas olah briket arang sebesar 105.000 kg/bulan diasumsikan akan menghasilkan arus kas masuk sebesar Rp. 6.300.000.000 dan arus kas keluar sebesar Rp. 3.393.881.040 pada tahun pertama, pada tahun kedua arus kas masuk sebesar Rp. 6.300.000.000 dan arus kas keluar sebesar Rp.3.341.225.000, pada tahun ketiga arus kas masuk sebesar Rp. 6.300.000.000 dan arus kas keluar sebesar Rp. 3.282.513.430, pada tahun keempat arus kas masuk sebesar Rp. 6.300.000.000 dan arus kas keluar sebesar Rp. 3.217.050.000, dan pada tahun kelima arus kas masuk sebesar Rp. 6.300.000.000 dan arus kas keluar sebesar Rp. 3.144.058.000. The sample from rice mill were 2 mills, meanwhile the sample from corn mill were 4 mills. The methods of data analysis used were income analysis, financial feasibility analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
