Service quality and customer satisfaction: a study of Asajaya District Office Counter Service / Muhammad Azam Julaihi
In today’s, service quality mostly important to all the organization which for public sectors or private sectors. The excellent service quality make a customer to be satisfactions. Service quality and customer satisfaction have a strong relationship to all the organization. This is because satisfactions can give the knowledge in order to improve the service quality that has been provided to the customers. The current study is made to address the issues by proposing a theoretical framework for this quantitative study on the service quality and customer satisfaction towards counter service. In addition, the customer satisfaction based on the service quality dimensions. This study will focus on the respondent who come to seek services at Asajaya District Office
Technology Entrepreneurship Project (ENT 600) : Logitech International S.A. / Muhammad Azam Muhammad Kamal
This case study is about Logitech International S.A. which is one of the world's leading manufacturers of input and interface devices for personal computers (PCs) and other digital products. The products that have been produce by this company are known worldwide because of the reputations and the brand name. From this study, we can learn to analyse, apply the knowledge, reasoning and drawing conclusions to understand this company even more. The first part of this case study has been focusing on collecting the company information such as the background of the company, the problem statement, and the purpose of the study. Through the analysis, there are some problems that could be identified in the company. These problems were studied, and some solutions and improvement were proposed to achieve a better-quality product that being known by customers from all around the globe. The second part of the case study focuses on its’ background, organizational structure, products and services, technology, business, marketing, and operational strategy. For the third part, we only use SWOT, which is the short form for strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of this company in order to analyse the product or services of the company and to understand more on how the company works. The fourth part is for me to find the findings and discussion for this report of case study about Logitech International S.A. and for the last one is for the recommendation and improvement section

Investigative study of leachate degradation in soil from bottom ash as filling embankment in road pavement / Muhammad Azam Abdul Rahim
The main objective of this research is to study the effect of leachate produced from bottom ash (BA) road filling embankment in soil via batch leaching test. Batch leaching test comprises of multiple compacted soil sample from three different borehole point, The soil sampling was done by hand auger to obtain every layer of soil and reach enough depth. Amount of soil from each location should be at least 2 kg to cater if any emergency happens. All samples of soil will be dried for 24 h in the oven to get rid of the unwanted water content in it. Every soil sample will be first filtered out through 212 pm before proceeding to mould the soil into cylindrical shape. The usage of automatic soil compactor will be the main key point of forming the shape and determining the Optimum Moisture Content (OMC). Batch leaching test of the finished samples will be executed in a tightly closed 2 L beaker in order to avoid reaction of outer air and disturbing the leaching process. Extraction fluid of glacial acetic acid diluted with deionized water will be prepared as required by the total number of extractions. Repetition of eluate renewal will be following the schedule set up until 63 d of leaching. The analyses of pH, conductivity and heavy metal were done to examine the Toxicity Characteristics Leaching Procedure (TCLP) of BA as filling embankment. Conductivity of the leachate produced is below the dangerous level which is under 100 ps/cm for the contamination in water. Value of pH obtained are around 3-5 which alter the original acidity of the eluate due to the alkalinity of soil mixed with bottom ash. Heavy metal analysis is the crucial parameters in this research and the results recorded highest came from copper element 4.771 mg/L. The concern towards heavy metal is for the reason of possible contamination towards the soil and groundwater. All things considered, the research concludes that the bottom ash as filling embankment in road pavement are following the guidelines and regulation set by Department of Environment (DOE). Reusing of bottom ash as filling embankment is advantageous towards many sides and does not contaminate the groundwater
Development of hydroponic farming system / Wan Muhammad Azam Idrus Wan Shamsuddin
Malaysia has been one of the country that has been affected by pandemic COVID-19 which limit the outdoor movement of residents. Therefore, the demand of food source are increasing during movement control order. Other than that, the rise of human population each year cause the decrease of area of land. As a result, the residents that live in flat houses has less space to plant vegetables. Hydroponic system is introduced to be one of the initiative to solve the problem. Thus, the objectives of this project are to fabricate a model or a prototype of the hydroponic system and to compare the difference between hydroponic and traditional farming system in terms of plant’s growth. The approaches taken include developing design ideas, fabrication of a prototype and testing of the product. The expected outcomes of this project are that the CAD model and the product’s prototype are succesfully been constructed. Aside from that, the hydroponic farming system is expected to be more efficient compared to the soil-based farming system. As a conclusion this project is an initiative for the flat house residents and others to involve in this field and to improve the production of food source in future industry
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
