ANALISA PERILAKU DINAMIS STRUKTUR BANGUNAN TINGGI AKIBAT VARIASI SUDUT BALOK KANTILEVER PADA FACADE SPIRAL
Get PDFBangunan tinggi telah mengalami peningkatan pada desain arsitekturalnya pada satu abad terakhir. Desain arsitektural tersebut akan bergantung pada façade yang dimiliki oleh sebuah bangunan. Façade spiral (twister) merupakan salah satu bentuk yang telah diaplikasikan pada banyak bangunan, contohnya adalah Evolution Tower, Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers, Turning Torso, dll. Berbagai macam sistem struktur diterapkan untuk mencapai bentuk façade spiral. Salah satu sistem struktur yang diaplikasikan pada penelitian ini adalah balok kantilever. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku dinamis struktur bangunan tingkat tinggi akibat variasi sudut balok kantilever pada façade spiral.
Untuk peninjauan perilaku dinamis tersebut, dilakukan analisa struktur untuk Variasi model struktur yang ada (Eksisting dan Var-0 s/d Var-5) dengan metode beban dinamis gempa respon spektra dengan meninjau parameter dinamisnya, seperti periode struktur, massa struktur, gaya geser dasar, gaya geser lantai, simpangan antar lantai, perpindahan maksimum dan kapasitas balok kantilever yang dihasilkan oleh variasi-variasi struktur yang dianalisa pada penelitian ini. Analisa struktur dibantu oleh perangkat lunak ETABS v.13. Adapun ketentuan keamanan dan batasan yang dipakai adalah ketentuan yang berasal dari Indonesia (SNI), India (IS) dan beberapa ketentuan lain yang dapat mendukung pada penelitian ini.
Hasil yang ditunjukkan oleh variasi-variasi stuktur menunjukkan bahwa penambahan balok kantilever memperburuk parameter dinamis dan kestabilan struktur daripada model eksisting. Seperti contoh model variasi struktur Var-2 yang memiliki perioda yang lebih rendah memiliki kecendrungan untuk menghasilkan respon-respon yang relatif ekstrim buruk jika dibandingkan dengan model variasi struktur lain.
Tall buildings have had upgrades on their architectural designs in the last decade. Those architectural designs mostly rely on their facades which are owned by the respective buildings. Spiral Facades (twister) is one of the design that has been applied on many buildings, e.g. Evolution Tower, Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers, Turning Torso, etc. There are several structural systems that are applied to reach spiral façade. One of the structural systems applied is cantilever beam. Therefore, the aim of this research is to discover the dynamic behavior of high rise building due to the application of the variation of angled cantilever beam on spiral façade.
In order to study the dynamic behavior of the structure, structure analysis (for Existing and Var-0 to Var-5) needs to be done with dynamic loads of earthquake by using response spectrum method to analyze dynamic parameters, such as structure’s period, mass, base shear, story shear, story drift, displacement and beam capacity which are the result from the structure’s variations exists in this research. The structural analysis is helped by software: ETABS v.13. As for the provisions and limitations which are used in this research are from Indonesia (SNI), India (IS) and several other provisions that is able to support this research.
The result shows that those variation with cantilever beam equipped for the facades have worse values of dynamic parameters and also for the stability of the structure than the existing one. As an example for Var-2 which has lower structure periods has tendency to generate extreme responses which is bad if it is compared to other variations
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
