Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Full text linkSkripsi yang berjudul “Tinjauan Hukum Pidana Islam Terhadap Pertimbangan Hukum Hakim Dalam Putusan Tindak Pidana Penadahan Kendaraan Bermotor (Studi Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Pandeglang Nomor: 102/Pid.B/2016/PN.Pdl” ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan: 1) Bagaimana pertimbangan hukum hakim terhadap putusan Pengadilan Negeri Pandeglang Nomor: 102/Pid.B/2016/PN.Pdl tentang tindak pidana penadahan kendaraan bermotor? 2) Bagaimana analisis hukum pidana Islam terhadap tindak pidana penadahan kendaraan bermotor dalam putusan Pengadilan Negeri Pandeglang Nomor: 102/Pid.B/2016/PN.Pdl? Data yang di perlukan dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik dokumentasi. Setelah semua data terkumpul, data diolah dan dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif analisis dan dengan pola fikir deduktif untuk memperoleh kesimpulan yang khusus dan dianalisis menurut hukum pidana Islam. Hasil penelitian bahwa: Pertama, pertimbangan hukum hakim dalam putusan Pengadilan Negeri Pandeglang nomor: 102/Pid.B/2016/PN.Pdl tentang tindak pidana penadahan terhadap terdakwa yang melakukan pelanggaran yaitu hakim memberikan sanksi hukuman kepada terdakwa dengan pidana kurungan penjara selama 5 (lima) bulan. Mengingat dakwaan Jaksa Penuntut Umum dengan dakwaan tunggal yaitu Pasal 480 ke-1 KUHP serta unsur-unsur dan bukti-bukti yang telah terungkap dipersidangan sudah sesuai dengan pasal tersebut, meskipun hakim pada amar putusannya tidak mempertimbangkan pasal yang didakwakan oleh Jaksa Penuntut Umum, melainkan menggunakan Pasal 372 KUHP. Majelis hakim tidak memperhatikan ketentuan dalam Pasal 182 ayat (4) KUHAP yang menjelaskan bahwa setelah pemeriksaan perkara selesai hakim majelis akan mengadakan musyawarah, dan musyawarah tersebut harus didasarkan atas surat dakwaan jaksa penuntut umum dan segala sesuatu yang terbukti di persidangan. Kedua, berdasarkan analisis hukum pidana Islam terhadap kasus tindak pidana penadahan kendaraan bermotor, sanksi yang telah diberikan kepada terdakwa yang melakukan jarimah tersebut sudah tepat dan sesuai dengan jarimah ta’zir. Dalam kasus ini majelis hakim telah memberikan sanksi berupa ta’zir yang berkenaan dengan kemerdekaan seseorang berupa kurungan penjara selama 5 (lima) bulan, dalam hal ini maka majelis hakim telah merampas kemerdekaan serta kebebasan terdakwa sebagai wujud pertanggungjawaban pidana atas jarimah yang sudah dilakukan oleh terdakwa. Sejalan dengan kesimpulan di atas maka kepada para aparat penegak hukum terutama hakim, dalam mempertimbangkan suatu perkara harus lebih teliti dan bijaksana sehingga hukuman yang di berikan kepada terdakwa sudah berdampak baik secara preventif, represif, kuratif dan edukatif. Implementasi kegiatan Esktrakurikuler wajib dalam membentuk karakter santri di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Istiqamah Nagatabaru Sigi Biromaru-Sigi-Sulawesi-Tengah

Ektrakurikuler wajib (OPPM, Koordinator Gerakan Pramuka, peningkatan bahasa Asing, dan public speaking) dalam membentuk karakter santri di PPM. Al-Istiqamah Ngatabaru sangat menarik, karena yang menjadi pengurus pada kegiatan itu bukanlah seorang guru atau tenaga pendidikan melainkan para santri kelas V yang diberi tanggung jawab untuk mengurus santri mulai dari kelas I-IV. Jadi bisa dikatakan hal itu merupakan hal yang sangat berat karena yang membentuk karakter santri di pondok ini adalah santri juga, meski tetap berada dibawah bimbingan guru-guru yang ada di pondok tersebut.
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini antara lain untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) proses implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler wajib dalam membentuk karakter santri; 2) nilai-nilai yang terbentuk dari implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler wajib; 3) faktor pendukung, kendala dan solusi yang ditemukan pada kegiatan implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler wajib di PPM. Al-Istiqamah Ngatabaru Sigi Biromaru-Sigi-Sulawesi Tengah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu mencari sumber-sumber data yang bersifat induktif ke deduktif maupun sebaliknya, yang melibatkan berbagai informasi, baik yang berbentuk wawancara, bahan audio ataupun dokumen yang perlu dicermati dan diteliti. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Terakhir upaya pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, dan triangulasi teori.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, proses implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler wajib dilaksanakan melalui 4 tahap yaitu: 1) perencanaan; 2) pengorganisasian; 3) pelaksanaan; 4) pengotrolan. Kedua, Religius, tanggung jawab, disiplin, mandiri, kreatif, integritas, berjiwa wirausaha, adil, bisa diandalkan, percaya diri, kerja keras, disiplin dalam menggunakan bahasa Asing, kreatif dalam merangkai kata, rasa percaya diri dalam berbicara, ingin tahu terhadap bahasa, Percaya diri dalam berpidato, dapat dipercaya dalam tugas, tanggung jawab dalam tugas, cinta damai, demokratis. Ceria, cinta damai, toleransi, nasionalisme, bersahabat/komunikatif, menghargai prestasi, Kepemimpinan, bijaksana, sabar, integritas, jujur, adil, sopan, peduli sosial. Ketiga, masih ditemukan beberapa kendala yang kadang terjadi, namun telah ditemukan solusinya melalui musyawarah setiap minggunya.

الأنشطة اللامنهجية الإلزامية (OPPM، الكشافة، تحسين اللغة الأجنبية، والخطابة) في تكوين شخصية الطلاب في معهد الاستقامة العصري نجاتابارو مثيرة جدا للاهتمام، لأن محرك الأنشطة ليس معلمين أو موظفين تربويين بل طلاب الصف الخامس الذين يتم إعطاؤهم مسؤولية رعاية الطلاب في الصف الأول إلى الرابع. لذلك يمكن القول إنه أمر صعب للغاية لأن من يكوّن شخصية الطلاب في هذا المعهد هو الطلاب أيضا، على الرغم من أنهم ما زالوا تحت إشراف المعلمين.
وشمل هدف هذا البحث وصف: ١) عملية تنفيذ الأنشطة اللامنهجية الإلزامية في تكوين شخصية الطلاب؛ ٢) القيم التي تشكلت من تنفيذ الأنشطة اللامنهجية الإلزامية؛ ٣) العوامل المدعمة والمعوقة والحلول الموجودة في تنفيذ الأنشطة اللامنهجية الإلزامية في معهد الاستقامة العصري نجاتابارو سيجي بيرومارو – سيجي - سولاويزي الوسطى.
استخدم هذا البحث منهج البحث الكيفي الوصفي، وهو البحث عن مصادر البيانات الاستقرائية إلى الاستنتاجية أو بالعكس، والذي يتضمن معلومات متنوعة، سواء في شكل مقابلة أو مواد صوتية أو وثائق تحتاج إلى فحصها أو بحثها. تم جمع البيانات في هذا البحث من خلال مقابلة وملاحظة ووثائق. علاوة على ذلك، فإن تحليل البيانات المستخدم هو جمع البيانات، تحديدها، عرضها، والاستنتاج منها، ثم التحقق من صحتها باستخدام طريقة تثليث المصادر والأساليب والنظريات.
واستنادا إلى نتائج البحث، تبين ما يلي: أولا، يجب أن تتم عملية تنفيذ الأنشطة اللامنهجية من خلال 5 مراحل، وهي: ١) التخطيط؛ ٢) التنظيم؛ ٣) التنفيذ؛ ٤) المراقبة. ثانيا، دينية ، مسؤولة ، منضبطة ، مستقلة ، إبداعية ، نزاهة ، ريادية ، عادلة ، موثوقة ، واثقة ، تعمل بجد ، منضبط في استخدام اللغات الأجنبية ، مبدعة في الكلمات المتوترة ، واثقة في التحدث ، لديها فضول حول اللغة ، تؤمن بالذات في الكلام ، يمكن الوثوق بها في الواجب ، المسؤولية في الواجب ، حب السلام ، الديمقراطية. مرح ، أحب السلام ، التسامح ، القومية ، الود / التواصل ، نقدر الإنجاز ، القيادة ، الحكمة ، الصبر ، النزاهة ، الصدق ، العادل ، المهذب ، الرعاية الاجتماعية. ثالثًا ، لا تزال هناك بعض المعوقات التي تحدث أحيانًا ، ولكن تم العثور على حلول من خلال المداولات الأسبوعية
ABSTRACT
Compulsory Extracurricular Activities (OPPM, Boy/Girl Scout, foreign language, and public speaking) used to build students’ character in PPM. Al-Istiqamah Ngatabaru is quite interesting since they are carried out by V graders, instead of teachers or educational staffs. These students have to take care of grade I-IV students. It is quite hard to do since they have to build other students’ characters, even though they are assisted by their teachers in the Islamic boarding school.
The research aims to describe: 1) the implementation process of compulsory extracurricular activities in building students’ character; 2) values achieved by the implementation of compulsory extracurricular activities; 3) the supporting factors, obstacles, and solutions found in the implementation of compulsory extracurricular activities in PPM. Al-Istiqamah Ngatabaru Sigi Biromaru-Sigi-Central Sulawesi.
The researcher employed a descriptive qualitative approach by finding inductive to deductive data sources and vice versa. The activity involved various information in the form of an interview, audio material, and documents that needed to be observed. To collect the data, the researcher used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was done by collecting the data, conducting data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The last stage is the data validity check in which the researcher used source, method, and theory triangulation techniques.
The result of the research shows that: first, the implementation process of compulsory extracurricular activities is carried out through 5 steps, namely: 1) planning; 2) organization; 3) implementation; 4) control. Second, Religious, responsible, disciplined, independent, creative, integrity, entrepreneurial, fair, reliable, confident, hard working, disciplined in using foreign languages, creative in stringing words, confident in speaking, curious about language, Believe self in speech, can be trusted in duty, responsibility in duty, love peace, democratic. Cheerful, love peace, tolerance, nationalism, friendly/communicative, appreciate achievement, leadership, wise, patient, integrity, honest, fair, polite, social care. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
