Perilaku Komunikasi pada Masyarakat Cyberspace : (Netnografi Meme Rage Comic di Situs 1cak.com)
Get PDFNew media has significantly changed the order of the flow of human communication and information, especially to adolescent. As digital natives, they are directly part of the cyberspace culture, where most of their communication activities are carried out in the internet digitization space. This study aims to understand how the communication behavior of rage comic meme users on the 1cak.com website is viewed from two main aspects: the pattern of meme content and the categorization of meme humor. A qualitative method with a semiotic approach is used as an effort to comprehensively understand the meme communication behavior on the site. As a result, the pattern of meme content on the 1cak.com site is divided into two typical users: the up to date pattern (structured) and the random pattern (unstructured). Meanwhile, the meme humor theme category on the 1Cak website is divided into four categories: Pure-Humor; Experiences-Based Humor; Educative-Humor; and Segmented-Humor.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Get PDFUntuk mengoptimalkan penanaman nilai-nilai dakwah, khususnya nilai-nilai toleransi yang terkandung dalam sastra, disini peneliti mendeskripsikan teks-teks dari novel Berjalan di Atas Cahaya : Kisah 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa. Novel ini penuh dengan nuansa dan gemuruh perjalanan Islam di Eropa, baik dari masa silam yang jauh maupun pada masa sekarang, ketika Islam harus menghadapi realitas bahwa kehidupan yang kian sulit ditanah Eropa. Di dalam novel ini juga penuh dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan terutama toleransinya dimana banyak diajarkan bagaimana untuk menjadi agen muslim dinegeri yang mayoritas penduduknya non muslim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Analisis Wacana Kritis (Critical Discourse Analysis/CDA) yang mana dalam penelitian ini penulis ingin menganalisis nilai dakwah dan toleransi dalam novel Berjalan di Atas Cahaya: Kisah 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah Kualitatif Deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menguraikan serta mendeskripsikan nilai dakwah dan toleransi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa nilai dakwah yang terkandung dalam novel ini sebanyak 5 yaitu nilai akidah, nilai ibadah, nilai akhlak, nilai kerja keras, dan nilai sosial. Dari ke 5 nilai ini nilai akidah dan nilai akhlak merupakan nilai yang paling banyak terdapat dalam novel ini. Untuk toleransi terdapat dalam 5 bab dari novel karya Hanum Salsabila Rais ini
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) bagaimana pengetahuan guru tahfidz terhadap metode dakwah; (2) bagaimana metode dakwah guru tahfidz; (3) bagaimana pengaruh metode dakwah guru tahfidz. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif pendekatan evaluatif. Teknik pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel bertujuan (Purposive sampel), dengan informan dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua pengurus rumah tahfidz al-Quran Habibah Tapan, anggota rumah tahfidz dan penjuru dakwah rumah tahfidz al-Quran Habibah Tapan yang memahami terkait tentang permasalahan yang dibahas dalam masalah ini. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara. Temuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana metode dakwah guru tahfidz dalam membina akhlak santri di rumah tahfidz al-Quran Habibah Tapan dengan menggunakan metode dakwah Mauidzah hasanah ialah suatu dakwah melalui nasehat dengan perkataan yang lemah lembut dan penuh kasih sayang. Adapun metode pembinaan akhlak yang digunakan oleh guru tahfidz dalam membina akhlak santri di rumah tahfidz al-Quran Habibah Tapan ialah metode teladan (uswah), metode pembiasaan (ta’widiyah), metode nasehat (mauidzah), metode cerita (qishash), metode perumpamaan (amtsal), dan metode ganjaran (tsawab). Metode tersebut dilakukan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral serta etika bersosial baik dalam lingkungan rumah tahfidz al-Quran Habibah Tapan maupun masyarakat

Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
