No full textThis draft is the first attempt to establish a UK MARC specifically for Archives and Manuscripts Control since the British Library indicated that it would countenance such extensions to the national UK MARC format. In order to keep consistency with the general UK MARC format, standard UK MARC subject fields are not included in this document, since they should be taken from the latest version of the UK MARC manual. {A note of them should perhaps be included in UK MARC AMC.} {NB Text in braces is intended to be explanatory material for readers of this draft}. Certain other fields have not been included that might occasionally be used in the cataloguing of archival materials but would generally only be used for such materials in organizations which were combining archive
databases with library databases. This MARC version is intended for use with descriptions of archive or anuscript material that follow, or fit, the traditional style of cataloguing: we assume that these will normally relate
to paper or parchment originals. It is not intended for use with descriptions of other kinds of material. For these, fields may be drawn from the appropriate UK MARC document. MARC versions for use with archives in special formats should be developed, in order to complete the full range of facilities available to archivists and curators

Dieser Artikel zeigt — durch das Beispiel der Berge des sudôstlichen Belgiens — die Not- wendigkeit auf, eine vorangestellte Memode zu definieren, welche es erlaubt — uber die bezifferten Daten hinaus — die Prozefie zu verfàfien und zu verstehen, durch welche sich die sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Verànderungen im Rahmen der allgemeinen Entwicklung darstellen. Es handelt sich, gemafi dem Autor darům, möglichst schnell die Débatte über die Bedeutung der Bewertungs-Methode zu eroffnen, damit die Reform der gemeinsamen Agrarpolitik in den Berggebieten besser neu definiert werden kann.Abstract : European policies and regional development : the case of south-east Belgium. Drawing on the example of the mountains of southeast Belgium, the article discusses the importance of defining a methodology prior to examining development policies in order to be able to go beyond statistics and to identify and understand the processes associated with the social and economic changes brought about by such policies. The author underlines the urgent need to begin discussion on the method of evaluation as a prerequisite to a meaningful reform of the CAP in mountain areas.Résumé : Cet article pose, derrière l'exemple des montagnes du Sud-Est belge, la nécessité de définir une méthodologie préalable qui permette, au-delà des données chiffrées , de saisir et comprendre les processus par lesquels s'opère le développement en tant que projet de changement social et économique. Il s'agit, selon l'auteur d'engager d'urgence le débat sur l'enjeu de la méthode d'évaluation pour que soit mieux redéfinie la réforme de la PAC dans les zones de montagnes.Mormont Marc.
