LCA environmental impacts of Europe's housing stock and prevention scenarios
No full textResilience is defined as the capacity of a system to cope with impacts by minimising their effects (through adaptation and mitigation). In practice, upstream measures on the causes, in terms of reducing the emissions or using resource more efficiently, should constitute the main action strategy for reducing the environmental impacts. The article describes the results of a research aiming at quantifing the average environmental impacts associated with the current housing stock in Europe through the construction of statistically-based representative models and the application of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method. Knowledge of the characteristics and the environmental performances of the building stock " particularly the residential building stock " is of fundamental importance to establish effective policies and priority actions for the prevention of impacts and the strengthening of the resilience

Creció rodeada no solamente por la música clásica y, en su sentir, muchas influencias mezcladas esculpieron su forma de tocar en la actualidad. Se le considera como una de las principales intérpretes del violín barroco, y sobresale en todos los aspectos de su multifacética carrera.

Counter-queue automata with an application to a meaningful extension of ω-regular languages
No full textIn this paper, we introduce a new class of automata over infinite words (counter-queue automata) and we prove the decidability of their emptiness problem. Then, we define an original extension of ω-regular languages, called ωT-regular languages, that captures meaningful languages that neither belong to the class of ω-regular languages nor to other extensions of it proposed in the literature, and we show that counter-queue automata are expressive enough to encode them

An interval temporal logic characterization of extended ω-regular languages
No full textSome extensions of w-regular languages have been proposed in the literature to express asymptotic properties of w-words which are not captured by w-regular languages. They include wB-regular languages, that extend w-regular languages with boundedness, wS- regular languages, that enrich w-regular ones with strong unboundedness, wBS-regular languages, that combine wB- and wS-regular ones, and wff-regular languages, that include meaningful languages which are not wBS-regular. Formal definitions of extended w-regular languages have been given in terms of both suitable classes of automata and extended w -regular expressions, while satisfactory temporal logic counterparts are still missing. In this paper, we give a characterization of them in terms of interval temporal logics by providing an explicit encoding of expressions into formulas.(c) 2023 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved
Politiche regionali e comunità dell’energia rinnovabile: verso percorsi di apprendimento reciproco?
No full textLe comunità dell’energia rinnovabile (CER) costituiscono un modello distribuito e collaborativo di produzione e consumo, con un ruolo fondamentale nella transizione energetica. L’attività di ricerca, i cui risultati preliminari sono illustrati in questo articolo, si concentra sul ruolo delle autonomie locali nella diffusione delle CER, effettuando una ricognizione del complesso delle politiche, prevalentemente pubbliche, per la promozione della transizione energetica in corso di attuazione nelle regioni e province autonome italiane. Il punto di partenza è costituito dal repertorio legislativo, una cornice procedurale nella quale si articolano varie categorie di misure di promozione delle CER (azioni di sostegno finanziario, meccanismi di coordinamento fra attori pubblici e privati, indirizzi per la patrimonializzazione energetica, programmi di valutazione e monitoraggio, ecc.). L’articolo, interpretando i risultati dell’analisi comparativa e illustrando elementi ricorrenti e differenziazioni territoriali fra le politiche regionali, sviluppa una riflessione sui fattori abilitanti e disabilitanti la diffusione delle CER nel territorio italiano e mira a facilitare percorsi di apprendimento reciproco fra gruppi di attori regionali della transizione energetica.

This article presents the preliminary results of a survey and comparative analysis of the set of policies, mostly public, currently being implemented in Italian regions and autonomous provinces to facilitate REC-building processes. The starting point is the legislation related to RECs, a procedural framework in which various categories of measures for promoting energy communities are articulated (financial support actions, coordination mechanisms between public and private actors, guidelines for heritage-based renewable energy development, evaluation and monitoring programs, etc.). By discussing recurring patterns and territorial differentiations between regional policies, the paper aims to trigger a reflection on the enabling and disabling factors for the diffusion of RECs in Italy, while facilitating multi-stakeholder mutual learning and capacity building across regional policy networks.Keywords: renewable energy communities, energy transition, energy policy, Italian regions, heritage-based renewable energy developmen
