No full textIn april 1828 vertrokken Z.M. korvet Triton en Z.M. koloniale schoener Iris van Ambon naar Nieuw-Guinea om een westelijk gedeelte van dat eiland bij proclamatie voor Nederland in bezit te nemen en er een militaire nederzetting te vestigen. De marineofficieren verrichtten er hydrografische opnamen voor zeekaarten teneinde de Nieuw-Guineese wateren voor scheepvaart te ontsluiten.0Meevarende leden van de ?Natuurkundige commissie voor Nederlands-Indië? onderzochten de planten ? en dierenwereld van het onder Europeanen nagenoeg onbekende eiland. Van Engelse activiteit was geen spoor te bekennen en Fort Du Bus, zoals de nederzetting werd genoemd, kende een kort bestaan. Global Grasp Planning for On-Orbit Robotic Manipulation: Design of an analytic grasp planning engine for autonomous capture of novel objects
No full textTo manage the increasing amount of satellite traffic in orbit and renewed operational ambitions, it is crucial to advance the capabilities of space robotic systems to enable complex manipulability tasks. These abilities will provide the necessary components to perform satellite de-orbiting, servicing of important assets, and assistance in on-orbit operations. With knowledge transfer from the terrestrial domain, the Aut-O-MAGIC research project proposes global graspability maps based on analytic grasp quality metrics to enable robust gripper operations without external intervention. Global graspability maps draw parallels from terrain traversability maps in robotic navigation, which use cost maps to plan optimised traverses ahead of time. Until now, grasping tasks in space have only had sufficient target surface information to plan the next action, disregarding optimisation or complex tasks that require multiple actions. No full textFamous recording artist, Lizzo, filed a preemptive lawsuit on October 23rd, 2019 to disprove allegations that Justin and Jeramiah Raisen and Justin “Yves” Rothman deserve author credit for her song, “Truth Hurts.”Lizzo is seeking a declaratory judgment that the alleged authors have no interest in the copyright or right to share profits. The Raisens and Rothman claim that the lyric “I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100% that bitch”, which originated from a popular internet meme, was a part of an unreleased demo, which Lizzo recorded at the Raisen’s studio, and on the final track. Lizzo claims that Rothman believes that she will pay him to stop making accusations against her, simply because he was present at a writing session for the demo track.

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt, vai situācijās, kad valsts neizpilda vai pārkāpj aut dedere aut judicare pienākumu, citas valstis var prasīt no pirmās atbildību. Darbā apskatīti starptautiskie līgumi, starptautisko tiesu nolēmumi, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot ANO Starptautiskās tiesas spriedumam lietā Questions relating to the Obligation to Prosecute or Extradite (Belgium v. Senegal), un doktrinālie avoti, lai noskaidrotu augstāk minēto tiesību institūtu saturu un piemērošanu. Bakalaura darba noslēgumā autore izvirza secinājumus par aut dedere aut judicare principa statusu, erga omnes atbildību un to savstarpējo saistību starptautiskajās publiskajās tiesībās.The Bachelor Thesis analyses the scope of the obligation aut dedere aut judicare, the concept of erga omnes responsibility and interaction between these two legal institutes. The purpose of the Bachelor's paper is to research whether in situations, where a State fails to fulfil or violates the obligation of aut dedere aut judicare, other States may claim responsibility from the firstly mentioned State. The work covers the analysis of international treaties, rulings of international courts, paying special attention to the judgement of UN International Court of Justice in the case Questions relating to the Obligation to Prosecute or Extradite (Belgium v. Senegal), and doctrinal sources to clarify the content and application of the above mentioned legal institutes. As a result of the research, the author puts forward conclusions on the status of the aut dedere aut judicare principle, erga omnes responsibility and their connection in international public law
