No full textEl presente Trabajo de Titulación se centra en el diseño arquitectónico de un centro de integración cultural en la ciudad de Mira. Este proyecto se ha desarrollado tras un exhaustivo análisis de diversas problemáticas identificadas en el entorno, con el objetivo de contribuir significativamente a mejorar las áreas públicas, la imagen urbana y la revitalización de áreas que, debido a su falta de uso o abandono, impactan negativamente en la ciudad. La ciudad de Mira se distingue por su rica herencia cultural, que ha perdurado a lo largo de los años gracias a una valiosa tradición transmitida de generación en generación. Sin embargo, a pesar de esta profunda conexión cultural, carece de espacios y equipamientos destinados a promover la difusión y conservación de esta riqueza patrimonial. Esta carencia representa una limitación para la población local, que ha demostrado su capacidad de adaptación en formas informales. A pesar de ello, estas adaptaciones no han logrado impedir el declive de tradiciones, costumbres y expresiones únicas de la sociedad y la ciudad. En este contexto, este trabajo busca llenar un vacío importante al proponer el diseño de un centro de integración cultural. Este espacio no solo será un punto de reunión y expresión para la cuidad, sino que también funcionará como un catalizador para la preservación y promoción de la rica herencia cultural de Mira. A través de un diseño arquitectónico bien concebido y funcional, se aspira a revitalizar la ciudad y sus espacios públicos, otorgando a la población un lugar donde la cultura pueda florecer, evolucionar y ser apreciada en su totalidad.This thesis focuses on the architectural design of a cultural integration center in the city of Mira. This project has been developed after a thorough analysis of various problems identified in the environment, with the aim of contributing significantly to improve public areas, urban image and the revitalization of areas that, due to lack of use or abandonment, have a negative impact on the city. The city of Mira is distinguished by its rich cultural heritage, which has endured over the years thanks to a valuable tradition passed down from generation to generation. However, despite this deep cultural connection, it lacks spaces and facilities to promote the dissemination and conservation of this rich heritage. This lack represents a limitation for the local population, which has demonstrated its ability to adapt in informal ways. Despite this, these adaptations have not managed to prevent the decline of traditions, customs and unique expressions of society and the city. In this context, this work seeks to fill an important gap by proposing the design of a cultural integration center. This space will not only be a point of gathering and expression for the city, but will also function as a catalyst for the preservation and promotion of Mira's rich cultural heritage. Through a well-conceived and functional architectural design, it aims to revitalize the city and its public spaces, giving the population a place where culture can flourish, evolve and be fully appreciated

Pretendo investigar as ações dessas entidades e a trajetória de suas lideranças: Aristides Largura, padre Alberto Kolb e Conrado de Mira respectivamente, na tentativa de entender quais as motivações que levaram à surpreendente união desses três personagens, em 1945, para fundar o Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro (PTB) na cidade. Um dos pontos de partida do trabalho é a desconfiança sobre a teoria da etnicidade como principal explicação para o sucesso integralista em Joinville. Outro questionamento é sobre as ações de padre Kolb e suas atividades políticas. O sindicalista Conrado de Mira, por sua vez, soube rapidamente compreender o funcionamento do aparelho sindical e utilizou-se disso para projetar sua carreira política na cidade.The aim of this work is to analyze the relationships that involved three entities of the city of Joinville between the years 1931 to 1948, which are: Integralism, Catholic Worker#s Circle and Unions. I intend to investigate the actions of these entities and the path of their leaders: Aristides Largura, priest Alberto Kolb and Conrado de Mira respectively, attempting to understand the motivations that in 1945 surprisingly provided the union of these three characters to found the entourage Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro (PTB) in the city. One of the bases of this work is the suspicion about the theory of ethnicity as the main explication for the integralist success in Joinville. Another questioning is about priest Kolb#s actions and his political activities. The syndicalist Conrado de Mira, in turn, quickly recognized the running of the trade union apparatus and used that to project his political career in the city

Efficient computational strategies for doubly intractable problems with appli- cations to Bayesian social networks
No full textPowerful ideas recently appeared in the literature are adjusted and combined to design improved samplers for doubly intractable target distributions with a focus on Bayesian exponential random graph models. Different forms of adaptive Metropolis–Hastings proposals (vertical, horizontal and rectangular) are tested and merged with the delayed rejection (DR) strategy with the aim of reducing the variance of the resulting Markov chain Monte Carlo estimators for a given computational time. The DR is modified in order to integrate it within the approximate exchange algorithm (AEA) to avoid the computation of intractable normalising constant that appears in exponential random graph models. This gives rise to the AEA + DR: a new methodology to sample doubly intractable distributions that dominates the AEA in the Peskun ordering (Peskun Biometrika 60:607– 612, 1973) leading to MCMC estimators with a smaller asymptotic variance. The Bergm package for R (Caimo and Friel J. Stat. Softw. 22:518–532, 2014) has been updated to incorporate the AEA + DR thus including the possibility of adding a higher stage proposals and different forms of adaptation
Delayed rejection algorithm to estimate Bayesian social networks
No full textStatistical social network analysis has become a very active and fertile area of research in the recent past. Recent developments in Bayesian computational methods have been successfully applied to estimate social network models. The Delayed rejection (DR) strategy is a modification of the Metropolis-Hastings (MH) algorithms that reduces the variance of the resulting Markov chain Monte Carlo estimators and allows partial adaptation of the proposal distribution. In this paper we show how the DR strategy can be exploited to estimate dyadic independence social network models leading to an average 40% variance reduction relative to the competing MH algorithm, confirming that DR dominates, in terms of Peskun ordering, the MH algorithm
