    Tomb of Mir Mahmud Nimatullahi

    Located on a hillock on Mir Alam road west of Charminar is the tomb-dargah of Mir Mahmud Nimatullah, who came from Najaf in the reign of Abdullah Qutb Shah 1626-72. Mir Mahmud Nimatullah passed away in 1688. A flight of 101 steps lead to the four massive doors of the tomb. The tomb he built in his lifetime has no inscription on it, though there are signs of fading Persian couplets on the first gate of the tomb called Zanjiri Gate; on the second gates is inscribed a quatrain in Persian. The circular tomb, once covered in blue tiles, has arched doors within arched recesses, topped off by a huge dome of 81 1/2 feet radius. Between the doors are double arched recesses at the lower level. Above them is a circular chhajja supported by small brackets. Over the chhajja is a cornice with small domed minarets. Lotus petals decorate the base of the pinnacled dome. The sepulcher contains glass panels in the recesses. The roof shows a circular decorative pattern common to Qutb Shahi tombs. The tomb is well placed, looking down on the blue waters of Mir Alam tank.     Up-regulation of MiR-21 in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

    Introduction:Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most abundant dysplasia in the oral cavity that aberrant expression of microRNA plays an important role in cancer progression. It is well known that microRNA-21 expression is oncogenes or tumor suppressor factor in malignancy formation of several cancers. In this study used OSCC tissues to investigate the expression of mir-21 in malignancy causes.Material and Methods:OSCC tissues and normal samples were collected from Amir Alam and Taleghani Hospitals as fresh and frozen samples. The Expression level of miR-21 in OSCC and normal tissues were measured by qRT-PCR. To find the targets related mir-21 used databases including TargetScan, GenTrail2, GO and STITCH online websites.Results:MiR-21 found significantly up-regulated in OSCC tissues compared to normal tissues (Fold-change=5.54). Targets of miR-21 derived from the TargetScan and GeneTrail2 analysis determined the most significant biological processes be associated with the epithelialization, differentiation, and morphogenesis. So overexpression of miR-21 could reverse this process and promote the cells to stemness and metastatic state. EGFR and PDCD4, two targets of miR-21, previously have been demonstrated that are important in OSCC invasion, metastasis, and differentiation. In addition study on targets genes to find anticancer drugs enriched CI-1033 as a tyrosine-kinase inhibitor that previously reported for the treatment of cancer.Conclusion:Our findings indicate miR-21 act as oncomiR in OSCC and may be considered as a biomarker for the development of OSCC treatment

    Energy Minimization in Piperazine Promoted MDEA-Based CO2 Capture Process

    A piperazine (PZ)-promoted methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) solution for a carbon dioxide (CO2) removal process from the flue gas of a large-scale coal power plant has been simulated. An Aspen Plus® was used to perform the simulation process. Initially, the effects of MDEA/PZ concentration ratio and stripper pressure on the regeneration energy of CO2 capture process were investigated. The MDEA/PZ concentration ratio of 35/15 wt.% (35 wt. MDEA and 15 wt.% PZ) was selected as an appropriate concentration. The reboiler duty of 3.235 MJ/kg CO2 was obtained at 35/15 wt.% concentration ratio of MDEA/PZ. It was considered a reference or base case, and process modifications including rich vapor compression (RVC) process, cold solvent split (CSS), and the combination of both processes were investigated to check its effect on the energy requirement. A total equivalent work of 0.7 MJe/kg CO2 in the RVC and a reboiler duty of 2.78 MJ/kg CO2 was achieved in the CSS process. Similarly, the total equivalent work, reboiler duty, and condenser duty of 0.627 MJe/kg CO2, 2.44 MJ/kg CO2, and 0.33 MJ/kg CO2, respectively, were obtained in the combined process. The reboiler duty and the total equivalent work were reduced by about 24.6 and 16.2%, respectively, as compared to the reference case. The total energy cost saving was 1.79 M/yr.Consideringtheadditionalequipmentcostinthecombinedprocess,thetotalcostsavingwas0.67M/yr. Considering the additional equipment cost in the combined process, the total cost saving was 0.67 M per year

Despite the potential of AR, there has been relatively little integration of AR into the classroom. The purpose of this pilot study is to examine the acceptance and intentional use of AR technology by teacher candidates and their opinions of AR as a supplemental educational tool.     Women in India, particularly those with amputation, face significant challenges, including but not limited to, unequal prosthetic access and satisfaction, societal discrimination, and the physical and emotional consequences of amputation. These challenges are further exacerbated by gender biases towards access to education and socioeconomic factors, which increases their vulnerability to unemployment and mental health issues. This article emphasizes the urgent need for affordable and customizable prosthetic options tailored to the unique needs of women with amputation, particularly those from low-income backgrounds who often face neglect. Thus, addressing these disparities would significantly enhance their overall well-being and independence.
