Integrated Marketing Communications, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty Towards Royal D Soft Drink (Phyo Min Soe, 2025)
This study examines the effect of integrated marketing communications (IMC)
and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in the context of Royal D Soft Drink in
Myanmar. In this study, the simple random sampling method is used to select 385
consumers through structured questionnaires. Multiple regression analysis was used to
analyze the effect of IMC components on customer satisfaction and its effect on
customer loyalty. The results of this study demonstrate that Integrated Marketing
Communications (IMC) for Royal D soft drink positively influence customer loyalty.
Additionally, the study confirms that customer satisfaction has a strong and
significant effect on enhancing customer loyalty toward Royal D soft drink in
Myanmar. The findings demonstrate that IMC elements contribute variably to
customer satisfaction, personal selling emerged as the most influential factor,
followed by public relations. Digital marketing channels, including social media and
direct marketing showed significant on customer satisfaction. The study identifies
several opportunities for Royal D to strengthen its marketing communications. The
findings suggest that Royal D benefits from rebalancing its integrated marketing
communications, placing greater emphasis on building lasting customer loyalty rather
than relying heavily on short-term promotional tactics. Recommendations include
developing more corporate social responsibility initiatives to enhance brand trust,
investing in comprehensive sales team training programs, and implementing more
sophisticated digital marketing strategies to engage younger consumers
A Study of Employers’ Perceptions of Social Security Protection in Ngwe Pin Lae Industrial Zone (Hein Min Soe, 2025)
This study examines the perceptions of Myanmar’s social security protection from the perspective of employers in the Ngwe Pin Lae Industrial Zone, Hlaing Thar Yar Township. Using descriptive research methods, data were collected through semi-structured surveys and interviews with 35 employers, including HR managers and executives, along with insights from Social Security Board (SSB) officials. Secondary sources included reports from the SSB, ILO, and World Bank. Covering 35 factories with over 12,000 workers, of which 9,953 are registered with the SSB, the research explores employer experiences, compliance behaviors, and perceptions of the Social Security Law (2012). Findings show that while employers recognize social security’s role in workforce stability, they express dissatisfaction with high contribution rates, outdated systems, and inefficient claim processes. The study recommends digitalization, simplified procedures, employer-focused awareness campaigns, and tax incentives. It urges policymakers to engage employers in reform efforts to build a more effective and transparent social security system
INFLUENCING FACTORS ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT PRACTICES A CASE STUDY OF SMEs IN SOUTH DAGON INDUSTRIAL ZONE (2) (Min Min Soe, 2018)
The objectives of this study are to identify the financial management practice of SMEs in South Dagon Industrial Zone (2) and to find out the factors that influence on good financial management practices. The total population 128 companies in SMEs at South Dagon Industrial Zone (2) and sample size are 65 companies which mean 50% of the total respondents. For this study, primary data collected by interviewing with finance managers of SMEs. By using descriptive analysis, this study provided the valuable result and answers to the results to use of financial management practices of SMEs. According to the result without the four financial management practices, the business financial information not comes out well. If not the owner can’t decide the right decision for the business future. All of the finance managers in SMEs are skill full in using financial management practices well. The results of correlation coefficient found that the skill and capability of finance manager are strongly related with financial management practices which are financial reporting analysis, fixed assets management, working capital management practices and capital structure management each had a significant influence effect on the company’s financial performance with working capital management practice being a higher contributor to the effect. Finance managers are used fully practice of financial management, SMEs owner can be decided well for the future of business
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
