The article has to do with an analysis of the artistic activity in the sphere of cultural and individual memory which refers to the area of the Warsaw Ghetto. On the basis of Patrycja Dołowy’s works and a drama piece which she co‑wrote the author examines the extent to which the strategies of individual memory are not intellectual in a fundamental way. They do, however, constitute a collection of memories, concepts and interpretations which preclude objectivisation – so much expected in reference to the national memory whose aim is to establish the foundation of the identity of the nation. In her article the author introduces an innovative term, “Jewish fiction”, construed as the making up or combining in a collage manner of Jewish stories in order to situate them in the collective imaginarium as a new chapter of post‑memory activities.

Tra lingue e identità: l’autotraduzione di Alba de Céspedes come forma di riscrittura narrativa
No full textNell’intervista del 1976 con Vittorio Messori, Alba de Céspedes afferma : « Non è possibile tradurre, l’autore che passa da una lingua all’altra deve fare un altro libro » rivelando così il suo complesso legame con la traduzione e l’autotraduzione delle proprie opere, testimoniato dal caso emblematico del romanzo Sans autre lieu que la nuit (1973), autotradotto in Nel buio della notte (1976). Tra le pagine del mosaico della storia di una notte parigina vissuta dai suoi innumerevoli abitanti, scopriamo infatti « l’esperienza demiurgica » della scrittrice, che si cimenta per la prima volta in un’autotraduzione di prosa letteraria. Attraverso una scrupolosa analisi comparata dei testi in italiano e francese, emergono i tratti di una riscrittura del romanzo, dove de Céspedes gioca nuovamente con le identità dei suoi personaggi, riplasmando i loro pensieri e i loro dialoghi ; creando una versione italiana che trascende il mero atto traduttivo e abbraccia un processo di autotraduction (re)créatrice che consente alla sua creatività letteraria di esprimersi senza vincoli. Per comprendere meglio questo processo, analizzo alcuni personaggi chiave, confronto estratti del corpus paralleli e – ispirata dalle indagini di Claude-Gaspar Bachet de Méziriac (1635) e Antoine Berman (1985) sulle tendenze deformanti ricorrenti nei traduttori – esamino le aggiunte, le omissioni e i cambiamenti di significato a livello macrotestuale nella versione italiana di Nel buio della notte (1976).

This comment unveils her intricate relationship with translation and self-translation, particularly highlighted by her novel Sans autre lieu que la nuit (1973), which she self-translated into Nel buio della notte (1976). Through the narrative of a Parisian night experienced by its many inhabitants, we encounter what has been described as the “demiurgic experience” of the writer as she ventures into literary self-translation for the first time. A detailed comparative analysis of the Italian and French texts reveals the novel’s transformation, where de Céspedes plays anew with her characters’ identities, reshaping their thoughts and dialogues. This results in an Italian version that goes beyond mere translation, embracing a process of autotraduction (re)créatrice that frees her literary creativity from constraints. To deepen our understanding of this process, I examine key characters, compare excerpts from the parallel texts, and, inspired by Claude-Gaspar Bachet de Méziriac’s (1635) and Antoine Berman’s (1985) examination of recurrent distortions by translators, analyze additions, omissions, and shifts in meaning at the macrotextual level in the Italian version of Nel buio della notte (1976).

The subject of Austin Wright’s novel Tony and Susan (published in 1993) is the reader’s experience. The peculiar relationship that forms between the main female character - a reader of literary fiction – and the novel itself as well as its author, inspired in 2016 Tom Ford to capture the specifics of the same relationships using the language of moving images. This article presents the effects of studying the complex system of communication situations occurring in the novel and its film adaptation: each of them contains an additional story around which further author-reader relationships are formed. The analysis shows that a significant part of the film’s plot is not a direct insight into the novel, but its concretization projected by a female protagonist. Moving in space and, sometimes, in time—be it in a literary sense or by means of the protagonists’ memories—facilitates comparison and contrast of different cultures, value systems, and causes and effects of actions and decisions. Journey remained one of the most significant plot-organizing motifs in films belonging to the so called Heritage Films which has been an important and controversial movement in British cinema. In those films, usually set during the glory days of the British Empire, journey in space (to Italy or colonial India) is connected to a journey in time, providing the authors with an opportunity (not always realized) to judge bygone reality and ‘rewrite’ the past. Role of an manager in a dual career of athletes
Streszczenie
Wielu sportowców rozpoczyna swoją karierę w bardzo młodym wieku, łącząc wtedy z różnym skutkiem rolę sportowca i ucznia/studenta. Na wstępnym etapie kariery sportowej ciężko jest przewidzieć czy rozwinie się ona do poziomu kariery, która na dłuższy okres zapewni temu zawodnikowi utrzymanie. Dlatego równolegle z karierą, sportowcy powinni rozwijać inne kompetencje, które pozwolą w momencie zakończenia kariery łagodnie przejść do życia zawodowego. W trakcie kariery sportowcy mogą liczyć na różnego rodzaju wsparcie, które pomoże im w osiągnięciu celów sportowych czy tych poza sportowych. Wsparcie zazwyczaj pochodzi od trenerów, rodziców, sponsorów, czy chociażby menedżerów sportowych. Młodzi adepci sportu (szczególnie sportów zespołowych) coraz częściej wiążą się umową z pośrednikiem, menadżerem sportowym, który przez wiele lat jest odpowiedzialny za prowadzenie ich kariery.
W niniejszym artykule autorka skupi się na roli jaką odgrywa menedżer sportowy w rozwoju pozasportowym (edukacja i rozwój zawodowy) reprezentowanego zawodnika. Przedstawiona zostanie sylwetka menedżerów sportowych, kompetencje oraz ich obowiązki i oczekiwania jakim muszą sprostać w swojej pracy. Na podstawie wywiadów przeprowadzonych z zawodnikami i menedżerami sportowymi, będzie możliwe wykazanie czy oczekiwania obu stron są spełnione, a w szczególności, to w jakim stopniu spełniane są oczekiwania sportowców wobec menedżerów w obszarze wsparcia ich rozwoju pozasportowego. Wykazano, że opieka i zakres działań menedżera sportowego zmienia się w zależności od etapu kariery zawodnika. Wykonują oni szereg działań nie związanych bezpośrednio ze sportem, które zapewniają spokój i komfort psychiczny. Osiągnięcie tego stanu pozwala na jeszcze większe skupienie na rozwoju kariery sportowej. Menedżerom zależy na zwiększeniu znaczenia ich pracy w życiu sportowca.

Many athletes begin their career at a very young age, joining then with varying degrees of success the role of an athlete and a student. In the initial stage of their sporting career it is hard to predict whether it will develop to the level of a career which will ensure a player with funds for a long period of time. Therefore, in parallel with their career, athletes should develop other competencies that will allow them at the end of a career switch smoothly to life after the end of the adventure with sport. During a career athletes can count on various types of support that help them achieve sporting goals, or those outside of the sport. Support usually comes from coaches, parents, sponsors, or even sports managers. Young athletes (especially those playing team sports) more often sign contract with an intermediary or sports manager, who for many years is responsible for leading their careers.
In this article the author focuses on the role of a manager in a non-athletic development (education and professional development) of a player that he represents. The silhouette of sports managers will be presented as well as competences, their responsibilities and the expectations which they face during their work. Based on the interviews with the players and sports managers, it will be possible to demonstrate ifthe expectations of both parties are satisfied and, in particular, to what extent the expectations of athletes to managers in the area of support of their non-sport development are met. It has been shown that care and range of actions of a sports manager varies depending on the stage of player's career. They perform a number of activities not directly related to sport, which provide tranquility and peace of mind that allow for even greater focus on the development of their sports careers. Managers want to increase the importance of their work in the life of an athlete.

ABSTRACT
Traumatic brain injury is usually caused by multiple kinds of falls, violence with head injury or traffic incidents. In this article, we describe the case of a 51-years-old patient with craniocerebral trauma, requiring the introduction into a pharmacological coma. The patient was diagnosed with a hemorrhagic contusion of the frontal lobes with numerous intracerebral hematomas, significant local cerebral edema, hematomas at the cerebral frontal and temporal lobes, subarachnoid bleeding in the cerebellar tent. After the brain injury patient demonstrates features of the dysexecutive syndrome, her disability on the Rankin’s scale was rated with 5 grade. Thanks to properly selected drug therapy and conducting properly targeted rehabilitation, the patient's condition improved spectacularly, and the patient gained independence.

Abstract
Eating
habits pose an import factor which influences our health state.
Nowadays two main tendencies prevail in the society: following the
rules of healthy eating conscientiously, whereas the other one
consists in using food as a tool serving to mood improvement. The
article is devoted to non-specific eating disorders, that is, night
eating syndrome (NES) and orthorexia nervosa. Orthorexia nervosa is
an affixation on healthy eating, whereas night eating syndrome is a
night-time hypherphagia, morning anorexia and insomnia. At present,
it seems that these two disorders are not frequent. The misthinking
may be caused by difficulties in diagnosing them. The identification
can be stymied by the lack of unified definition or the lack of
unified diagnostic criteria. Further researches of these health
problems are recommended as in the future they may cause development
of a lot of serious diseases. One must pay attention, in particular,
to night eating syndrome and its importance in obesity development
and its link to type 2 diabetes.

The only reasonably successful attempt at automating the design of compensators, the Matlab Control System Toolbox, comes from Mathworks. It is an add-on which requires their Matlab program and is costly, system dependent, and difficult to use. My thesis combines different rent electrical engineering approaches at series compensation of linear feedback systems to design a platform independent and very easy-to-use software toolkit called MASCoT. This toolkit allows a designer to quickly visualize and automatically evaluate several solutions to a compensation problem. MASCoT is written in Java and can run on any platform as well as on the web.
