Assembly station with robot MELFA RV-2AJ
Cílem diplomové práce bylo především sestavit montážní stanici s robotem MITSUBISHI MELFA RV-2AJ na pracovišti MPS 202 a následně vytvořit několik variant montážní sta-nice. U každé varianty je uvedeno shrnutí výhod a nevýhod a navržen způsob zlepšení. Moje diplomová práce obsahuje také stručný návod k ovládání a programování robota, včetně popisu prostředí programovacího programu COSIMIR INDUSTRIAL. Práce by měla sloužit jako učební pomůcka studentům a měla by přispět k lepšímu pochopení dané problematiky. Jednotlivých variant montážní stanice lze využít jako zadání laboratorních cvičení v předmětu Základy robotiky. Cílem teoretické části je zejména rozdělit a popsat jednotlivé druhy robotů a manipulátorů.The main objective of my Master thesis was in the first place to set together assembly sta-tion with robot MITSUBISHI MELFA RV-2AJ in the work station MPS 202 and subse-quently to create several alternatives of this assembly station. I summarized all advantages and disadvantages of every single alternative and proposed the way of improvement. My Master thesis also contains brief instruction manual how to operate and program the robot, including the description of programming software environment. The paper can be used as the teaching aid for the students and should contribute for better understanding of this topic. Particular alternatives can be used as assignments in the classes of Robotics Basics. The objective of theoretical part is primarily to divide and describe various types of indus-trial robots and manipulators.Ústav výrobního inženýrstvíobhájen
l'Italia e i Paesi in oggetto.
luoghi pubblici e politici
Challenging Tunisia’s ethnic homogeneity after 2011. Blacks’ quest for recognition and full citizenship rights
Black rights activism emerged for the first time after 2011,
when a popular revolution overthrew the former dictator Zine el Abidine Ben Ali (1987-2011). In this short intervention I will first discuss, briefly, the construction
of a highly politicized Tunisian-Arab identity, forged
around the idea of a homogeneous national character after independence
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Surgical complications in prophylactic central neck dissection: Preliminary findings from a retrospective cohort study
Aim. Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most frequent thyroid malignancy with an overall ten-year survival more than 90%. Total thyroidectomy (TT) is considered the gold standard for PTC, but not all the endocrine surgeons agree on central neck dissection except in case of known metastases. Methods. We enrolled 158 patients, that underwent, between January 1990 and September 2012 total thyroidectomy±prophylactic CND for PTC. 59 Patients (group A) had a preoperative diagnosis of PTC; 99 (group B) had a diagnosis of benign disease. We focused on possible complications. Results. In group A we had 4 patients who blamed a definitive RLN palsy, only 1 patient in group B, with an OR=7.12. Definitive hypoparathyroidism was found respectively in 3 patients of group A and in 5 patients in group B, even in this case not statistically significant with an OR=1.007. Conclusion. We can affirm that the complications of thyroid surgery seem not to be strongly associated to the extent of surgery

Author Under Sail The Imagination of Jack London, 1893-1902
In Author Under Sail, Jay Williams offers the first complete literary biography of Jack London as a professional writer engaged in the labor of writing. It examines the authorial imagination in London's work, the use of imagination in both his fiction and nonfiction, and the ways he defined imagination in the creative process in his business dealings with his publishers, editors, and agents. In this first volume of a two-volume biography, Williams traverses the years 1893 to 1902, from London's "Story of a Typhoon" to The People of the Abyss. The Jack London who emerges in the pages of Author Under Sail is a writer whose partnership with publishers, most notably his productive alliance with George Brett of Macmillan, was one of the most formative in American literary history. London pioneered many author models during the heyday of realism and naturalism, blurring the boundaries of these popular genres by focusing on absorption and theatricality and the representation of the seen and unseen. London created an impassioned, sincere, and extremely personal realism unlike that of other American writers of the time. Author Under Sail is a literary tour de force that reveals the full range of London as writer, creative citizen, and entrepreneur at the same time it sheds light on the maverick side of machine-age literature.Intro -- Title Page -- Copyright Page -- Dedication -- Contents -- Acknowledgments -- Introduction -- 1.
