Zrównoważony rozwój - idea czy konieczność? Tom I
No full textPytanie zawarte w tytule niniejszej publikacji jest nadal kwestią otwartą. Zrównoważony rozwój to idea, której celem jest osiągnięcie trwałego i zrównoważonego rozwoju gospodarczo – politycznego z poszanowaniem i ochroną środowiska naturalnego. Aby osiągnąć jej cel, idea musi stać się koniecznością. A zrównoważony rozwój to zagadnienie interdyscyplinarne i wieloaspektowe. O zrównoważonym rozwoju można mówić w kontekście analizy aktów prawnych i orzecznictwa sądowego. Czego przykładem są artykuły Roberta Mieczkowskiego „Cele UE w Strategii Europa 2020 Strategia na rzecz inteligentnego i zrównoważonego rozwoju sprzyjającego włączeniu społecznemu oraz KPR dla Polski jako odpowiedź na kryzys”, Anny Pinkowicz „Ustawa o efektywności energetycznej jako instrument realizacji polityki ZR” czy Patryka Gacki „Zrównoważony rozwój w orzecznictwie sądów międzynarodowych. Sprawa Gabčíkovo–Nagymaros”. Zrównoważony rozwój posiada także aspekt społeczny, do niego można zaliczyć rozważania dotyczące: „Problemów z rozumieniem idei zrównoważonego rozwoju” (Magdalena Terlecka) czy analizy „ZR jako koniecznego megatrendu i ruchu społecznego” (Magdalena Saczyna). Aspekt etyczno – filozoficzny zrównoważonego rozwoju, został zaprezentowany w artykule Aleksandry Kleśty „Zrównoważony rozwój a sublimacja popędów”. Natomiast aspekt polityczny – zaprezentowany został w artykułach pt. „Zagrożenia dla zasady zrównoważonego rozwoju w trakcie konfliktu zbrojnego” (Maciej Karliński) oraz „Relacje Polski i Obwodu Kaliningradzkiego FR w kontekście doktryny zrównoważonego rozwoju” (Patryk Bukowski). Rozwój gospodarczo – społeczny województw, miast czy nawet przedsiębiorstw można również rozpatrywać pod względem zrównoważonego rozwoju np. „Wskaźniki zrównoważonego rozwoju województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego” (Jarosław Świdyńki), „Transport zrównoważony jako jeden z filarów stabilnego rozwoju przestrzeni miejskiej” (Daria Adamska), „Zrównoważony rozwój jako element CRS na przykładzie KGHM Polska Miedź S.A” (Marta Mazur), „Działania marketingowe wspierające szerzenie idei ZR” (Marcin Balana, Adrian Zabłocki, Emil Szymański, Sandra Wajchman), czy też „Zrównoważona polityka zatrudnienia w Polsce” (Marta Stasiak). Aspekt urbanistyczny to z kolei np. tematyka artykułu Aleksandry Lewandowskiej i Marcina Leźnickiego „Zielona architektura jako istotowo ważny element miasta zrównoważonego”. Zrównoważony rozwój posiada również aspekt ekologiczny zaprezentowany w artykułach: „Samotrawiąca namiętność posiadania, marnotrawstwo i nadprodukcja śmieci” (Damian Mazur), „Polskie działania na rzecz zrównoważonego rozwoju Morza Bałtyckiego” (Beata Belica), „Ochrona pszczół miodnych jako element zachowania ładu środowiskowego” (Marcin Balana, Adrian Zabłocki), „Realizacja założeń ZR na przykładzie parków ciemnego nieba (Grzegorz Iwanicki) oraz „ ZR w świetle urządzenia lasu i gospodarki leśnej” (Sandra Wajchman). Zrównoważonego rozwoju można poszukiwać w literaturze, czego przykładem może być artykuł Anna Gebalskiej – Berekets pt. „Wartości kulturowe i duchowe podstawą zrównoważonego rozwoju w twórczości F. M. Dostojewskiego”. Niniejsza dwu tomowa monografia jest efektem badań Młodych Naukowców zajmujących się zagadnieniem zrównoważonego rozwoju, zagadnieniem wielowątkowym, wielopłaszczyznowym i wieloaspektowym.Magdalena Terleck

No full textThis Bachelor thesis Conversion and Artistic Creation of Magdalena V. deals with the change of artistic expression of the Czech graphic artist Magdalena V., in a close connection to her religious conversion to the Catholic faith. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge of the psychology of religion. It introduces basic definitions and concepts of religion in relation to a religious conversion. In the second part, the author deals with the psychological analysis of Magdalena V.'s typical work through her life, which is supported by numerous photographs. Using the approach of rožnovská school, the author attempts to interpret this artwork on a hypothetical level, focusing on the M.V.'s life and artistic paralel before and after her conversion. The author draws on Magdalena V.'s testimonies about her life which bring light on the intention and context in her art. Related to the author's identification with Magdalena V.'s work, which later became apparent, this paper evolved further into identifying these moments and thus the potential risks inherent in author's own therapeutic work

Abstract
Introduction: The aortic valve regurgitation (AR) is a heart defect consisting of the retrograde flow of blood from the aorta to the left ventricle due to the improper closure of the aortic valve leaflets. It occurs approximately in 13% of men and 8.5% of women, and the incidence increases with age. A crucial issue in regards to a patient with asymptomatic AR, especially of a high degree, is determination of the time of qualification for invasive treatment.
Aim: To draw attention to the necessity of holistic approach to a patient with asymptomatic high-grade aortic regurgitation. Moreover, the complications of delayed implementation of invasive treatment were discussed.
Case report: A clinical case of a 62-year-old patient with a history of coronary artery bypass grafting and with AR – stage II, accidentally detected two years later in a control echocardiogram, was presented. Despite gradual progress of regurgitation, none of the disturbing symptoms were noted, whereas cardiac parameters were systematically monitored using ECG, ECHO and CT imaging. Beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, loop diuretics and aspirin were used as conservative treatment. After 10-year transthoracic echocardiographic follow-up due to progression of AR and development of heart failure, the patient was qualified to surgical replacement of the aortic valve. This procedure significantly improved the patient's quality of life.
Summary: The key element in the treatment of chronic asymptomatic AR is the individualization of the therapy. An essential role is played by appropriate pharmacotherapy, precise monitoring using transthoracic echocardiography, which is recommended as the first-line imaging strategy. Delaying in the implementation of surgical treatment may result in failure of the therapy and the onset of serious complications.

While completing this work, Magdalena was a postdoctoral fellow in the Chromatin and Growth Control group at the VIB-UGent Center for Plant Systems Biology at Ghent University, Belgium. Her research interests include plant molecular biology, epigenetics, transcriptomics, plant physiology and plant mitochondria.</jats:p
