MEASUREMENT OF THE B0 ---> D*- D(S)*+ AND D(S)+ ---> PHI PI+ BRANCHING FRACTIONS.
We present measurements of the branching fractions B(B0→D*-Ds*+) and B(Ds+→φπ+), based on 123×106 Υ(4S)→BB̅ decays collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- B factory. A partial reconstruction technique is used to measure B(B0→D*-Ds*+) and the decay chain is fully reconstructed to measure the branching fraction product B(B0→D*-Ds*+)×B(Ds+→φπ+). Comparing these two measurements provides a model-independent determination of the Ds+→φπ+ branching fraction. We obtain B(B0→D*-Ds*+)=(1.88±0.09±0.17)% and B(Ds+→φπ+)=(4.81±0.52±0.38)%, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic
Lectio Magistralis ACHILLE BONITO OLIVA / MAURIZIO MOCHETTI.

Search for B+→D+K0 and B+→D+K*0 decays
We report a search for the rare decays B+→D+K0 and B+→D+K*0 in an event sample of approximately 465×106 BB̅ pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. We find no significant evidence for either mode and we set 90% probability upper limits on the branching fractions of B(B+→D+K0)<2.9×10-6 and B(B+→D+K*0)<3.0×10-6
Observation of new resonances decaying to D and D in inclusive e+e− collisions near s= 10.58 GeV.
We present a study of the D+π-, D0π+, and D*+π- systems in inclusive e+e-→cc̅ interactions in a search for new excited D meson states. We use a data set, consisting of ∼454 fb-1, collected at center-of-mass energies near 10.58 GeV by the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider. We observe, for the first time, candidates for the radial excitations of the D0, D*0, and D*+, as well as the L=2 excited states of the D0 and D+, where L is the orbital angular momentum of the quarks
Branching Fraction Measurements of the Color-Suppressed Decays Bˉ0→D(∗)0π0, D(∗)0η, D(∗)0ω, and D(∗)0η′ and Measurement of the Polarization in the Decay Bˉ0→D∗0ω.
We report updated branching fraction measurements of the color-suppressed decays B̅ 0→D0π0, D*0π0, D0η, D*0η, D0ω, D*0ω, D0η′, and D*0η′. We measure the branching fractions (×10-4): B(B̅ 0→D0π0)=2.69±0.09±0.13, B(B̅ 0→D*0π0)=3.05±0.14±0.28, B(B̅ 0→D0η)=2.53±0.09±0.11, B(B̅ 0→D*0η)=2.69±0.14±0.23, B(B̅ 0→D0ω)=2.57±0.11±0.14, B(B̅ 0→D*0ω)=4.55±0.24±0.39, B(B̅ 0→D0η′)=1.48±0.13±0.07, and B(B̅ 0→D*0η′)=1.49±0.22±0.15. We also present the first measurement of the longitudinal polarization fraction of the decay channel D*0ω, fL=(66.5±4.7±1.5)%. In the above, the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The results are based on a sample of (454±5)×106 BB̅ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance, with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage rings at SLAC. The measurements are the most precise determinations of these quantities from a single experiment. They are compared to theoretical predictions obtained by factorization, Soft Collinear Effective Theory (SCET) and perturbative QCD (pQCD). We find that the presence of final state interactions is favored and the measurements are in better agreement with SCET than with pQCD

La conciliazione ex art. 6 d. lgs. 23/2015 tra autonomia privata e incentivi statali
This essay analyses the “conciliation proposal” introduced by art. 6 d. lgs. 23/2015 describing its procedural aspects and legal effects from the point of view of the freedom of will to be accorded to fired worker and employer. Arguing the revocable nature of the employers’ proposal, the author underlines that the prescription to subscribe the transaction before a selected office is aimed at promoting an agreement covering all aspects of the ceased employment relationship
The Causality Between R&D And Investment
The aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship between R&D expenditure and investment in machinery and equipment in order to test for causality. New growth theory emphasises the role of R&D in creating blueprints needed to produce new capital goods implicitly assuming causality running from R&D to investment. Other recent studies using firm level data have investigated the relationship between innovative activity and investment in fixed capital. In this paper we use aggregate data from the US economy on R&D expenditure in the industrial sector and aggregate investment in machinery and equipment. Standard Granger causality tests, together with the Hsiao version, are then performed, showing that causality runs from R&D to investment. In addition we perform a cointegration analysis allowing a test of possible long-run feedbacks. This dynamic representation shows that any feedback between investment and R&D is only significant in the long run.Investment, R&D, Granger Causality, Cointegration, JEL classification: O30; O40; C22,
