    No full text
The aim of the thesis is to provide linguistic and stylistic analysis of selected works written by Irena Dousková with focus on use of instruments of nonstandard language. The problem of the „male“ language (on works by Miglena Nikolchina and Irena Ivanova)

    No full text
The paper is devoted to the problem of the „male“ language which can be found in the works of two Bulgarian poets – Miglena Nikolchina and Irena Ivanova (better known by her pseudonym Rene Karabaš). The author associates them with the change that happens in literary criticism and the literary production itself after the 1990s. The author considers the synthesis of poetry and prose, poetry and theory as an intertextual „dialogue” through which is possible to analyze the texts of both poets. Thematically, the article focuses on the ways in which the woman gains „a right to have a voice“ rejecting her gender to take up the poet’s word and on how man appears to be a „quotation” in their works

The language of funeral songs of poles in Lithuania: at the intersection of the standard language and regional dialect

    No full text
This article aims at revealing the relationship between two language varieties, namely the standard language and the regional dialect in Polish funeral songs that remain an integral element in funeral ceremonies in Vilnius region. The songs that are discussed in this article were registered in 2011-2012 in 12 different places the Polish society lives. The analyzed texts belong to confessional sphere which demands common language variant (H- variety) to be used. The analysis discloses two types of norm violation: elements of regional dialect and hyper-correct forms the presence of which is due to the incompetent imitation of the standard language.Straipsnyje aptariama dviejų kalbos variantų – bendrinės kalbos ir regioninio dialekto – sąveika lenkų laidotuvių giesmėse, kurios iki šiol lieka Vilniaus krašto integraliu laidotuvių apeigų elementu. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos giesmės buvo užfiksuotos 2011–2012 metais dvylikoje skirtingų vietovių, kuriose kompaktiškai gyvena lenkų tautinė bendruomenė. Diglosijos dėsniai reikalauja, kad konfesinėje srityje, kuriai priklauso nagrinėjami tekstai, būtų vartojamas bendrinis kalbos variantas (H-Variety). Analizuojant surinktas giesmes, buvo aptinkti dviejų rūšių standartinės normos neatitikimai. Iš vienos pusės, giesmių tekstuose aptikti tam tikri regioninio dialekto elementai, iš kitos – pasitaikančios hiperkorektiškos formos, kurių atsiradimą sąlygojo nekompetentiškas bendrinės kalbos mėgdžiojimas.Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas / Vytautas Magnus UniversityŠvietimo akademija / Education Academ
