Análisis comparativo del neuromarketing desde dos perspectivas teóricas planteadas por Leon Zurawicki y Martin Lindström
Este documento pretende establecer una comparación teórica a partir de prácticas y estrategias del mercadeo que, basadas en la aplicación de las neurociencias, ejercen manipulación en las decisiones de compra de los consumidores -- Dicha comparación se llevó a cabo de acuerdo con el análisis crítico de la propuesta de dos autores que ostentan un lugar de reconocimiento en el mundo del neuromarketing y según cuatro ejes fundamentales de comparación, que son: la noción de neuromarketing, su impacto desde el punto de vista de la bioquímica del cerebro, las implicaciones éticas de la práctica del neuromarketing y el posicionamiento de cada autor frente a las críticas -- Por un lado, se encuentra, en las perspectivas académica y científica, Leon Zurawicki (2010) y, según los puntos de vista prácticos y comerciales, el autor Martin Lindström (2011) -- Cada uno explora, a partir de su experiencia en el mercadeo, cuáles son las estrategias y las prácticas que tienen como único objetivo lograr posicionamiento, no solo en la vida de los consumidores sino en sus mentes, de un producto o servicioThis document aims to establish a theoretical comparison from marketing practices and strategies that, based on the application of neurosciences, exert manipulation in consumer purchasing decisions -- This comparison was carried out according to the critical analysis of the proposal of two authors who have a place of recognition in the world of neuromarketing and according to four fundamental axes of comparison, which are: the notion of neuromarketing, its impact From the point of view of the biochemistry of the brain, the ethical implications of the practice of neuromarketing and the positioning of each author in the face of criticism -- On the one hand, it is found, in the academic and scientific perspectives, Leon Zurawicki (2010) and, according to the practical and commercial viewpoints, the author Martin Lindström (2011) -- Each one explores, based on their experience in marketing, what strategies and practices have the sole objective of achieving positioning, not only in the lives of consumers but in their minds, of a product or serviceMaestríaMagíster en Administració
Micro-credentials and Research Skills Development
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has recently formalised a new microcredential policy and piloted a series of small skills based courses that align to the NZQA
credit framework. While this is not yet gaining traction in Universities, Tertiary Education Organisations (TEO’s)
with a strong skills based focus are finding new ways of rewarding, and recognising, learning
through this new policy and framework. The policies focus is not only on TEO’s. NZQA have formalised a process for non-TEO’s
(professional groups, accreditation boards, communities) to benchmark their skills based
learning programmes for micro-credential equivalency - https://www.nzqa.govt.nz/providers-partners/approval-accreditation-andregistration/micro-credentials/equivalency/ This birds of a feather session opens up the discussion, and possibilities, of nationally
recognised credentials and development pathways for RSE’s and research support staff with
a particular focus on skills based and professional practice assessment. Is this something our
communities want, lets discuss! ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S) Jonny Flutey - https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2210-755X</div

Surveys of flying bird nesting areas and adelie penguin colonies in the Windmill Islands 1998/99 by Jonny Stark and Jeroen Creuwels
Progress Code: completedStatement: The locations of some colonies on Nelly Island (Frazier Islands), a South Polar Skua nest site on Dewart Island (Frazier Islands) and some South Polar Skua nest sites on Ardery Island were eyed in using as a guide field survey sketches by Jeroen Creuwels in June 1999. The locations of some further colonies on the Frazier Islands, a Southern Giant-petrel nest site on Dewart Island (Frazier Islands) and some Snow Petrel nest sites at Casey Station were sourced from a differentially corrected GPS survey by Jonny Stark of the Australian Antarctic Division in 1998/99. The following data relevant to Jeroen Creuwels' 1998/99 work on Ardery Island were sourced from another differentially corrected GPS survey by Jonny Stark in 1998/99: Antarctic Petrel reference area, Southern Fulmar reference area, Cape Petrel study area, Cape Petrel reference area and the location of the observation point for the 1998/99 bird census.
Each feature has a Qinfo value which can be used to access data quality information (see provided URL).This GIS dataset contains bird data from 1998/99 field work in the Windmill Islands by Jonny Stark and Jeroen Creuwels. The locations are Frazier Islands, Ardery Island and Casey station. <br/>Polygon data represents the extents of flying bird nesting areas and adelie penguin colonies.<br/>Point data represents flying bird nest locations
Overview report on environmental monitoring at AF Miljøbase Vats 2009-2014
During the period 2009-2014, NIVA has conducted environmental monitoring around the AF Miljøbase Vats (AFEBV) on behalf of the company. AFEBV is located on Raunes in Vindafjord municipality in Rogaland. The facility recycles decommissioned oil installations and other marine structures. The monitoring was performed in accordance with demands and terms expressed in the discharge permit issued by the Norwegian Environmental Directorate, and has addressed:
Samples of discharge water from facility water treatment plant (RO-water)
Water samples from groundwater wells within the facility
Water samples from streams in the facility area
Investigations in fjord sediments (chemistry, fauna and ecotoxicity)
Soil and moss samples close to the facility
Samples of mussels from Vatsfjord
Samples of crab from Vatsfjord and Yrkjefjord
Samples of different types of fish from Vatsfjord and Yrkjefjord

A comparison of the quality of image acquisition between the incident dark field and sidestream dark field video-microscopes
__Background__ The ‘Cytocam’ is a third generation video-microscope, which enables real time visualisation of the in vivo microcirculation. Based upon the principle of incident dark field (IDF) illumination, this hand held computer-controlled device was designed to address the technical limitations of its predecessors, orthogonal polarization spectroscopy and sidestream dark field (SDF) imaging. In this manuscript, we aimed to compare the quality of sublingual microcirculatory image acquisition between the IDF and SDF devices.
__Methods__ Using the microcirculatory image quality scoring (MIQS) system, (six categories scored as either 0 = optimal, 1 = acceptable, or 10 = unacceptable), two independent raters compared 30 films acquired using the Cytocam IDF video-microscope, to an equal number obtained with an SDF device. Blinded to the origin of the films, the raters were therefore able to score between 0 and 60 for each film analysed. The scores’ distributions between the two techniques were compared.
__Results__ The median MIQS (95 % CI) given to the SDF camera was 7 (1.5–12), as compared to 1 (0.5–1.0) for the IDF device (p < 0.0001). Of the six categories assessed by the MIQS, nearly one fifth of the SDF videos were scored as unacceptable for pressure (20 %), content (20 %), and stability (17 %), with focus scoring deficiently 13 % of the time. High agreement between the two raters scoring values was evident, with an intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) of 0.96 (95 % CI: 0.94, 0.98).
__Conclusions__ These results demonstrate that the quality of sublingual microcirculatory image acquisition is superior in the Cytocam IDF video-microscope, as compared to the SDF video-microscope

Paul Thomas Anderson/Jonny Greenwood
