No full textAbstract: The web changes commercial activities such as information gathering, shopping, trading, collaboration, and distribution to which companies need to adapt their strategies. The importance of information and communication technology (ICT), especially of the internet in the travel and tourism industry has increased tremendously over the past few years. The travel and tourism area is one of those industries, which are able to gain enormous synergy effects from use of the internet. The research projects at the ec3 focus on the tourism area from different perspectives. This paper provides an overview of the work within the xCom project in this research area by looking at trends and developments within the eTourism area. We give an overview of the travel and tourism industry and the changes caused by ICT. These changes lead to several threats and opportunities which will be outlined in our ‘competitive advantage in eTourism ’ framework

Museum are pointed out. Due to the examination it can be noted that the Belvedere’s library was not a profiteer of the NS looting of private book collections. Eventually doubtful publications predominantly entered into the Belvedere’s possession through purchases in antiquarian bookshops

No full textSeit dem der Autor dieser Arbeit beruflich tätig ist, bilden elektrische Anlagen, das Kernthema seiner Aufgaben. Während dieses Zeitraumes, konnte dieser die unterschiedlichen Prozesse und Phasen, welche elektrische Anlagen während ihrer Nutzungsdauer durchlaufen, verfolgen und die unterschiedlichsten Erfahrungen sammeln. Die Einblicke in die die zuvor erwähnten Prozesse und Phasen, erstreckten sich von der Grundlagenermittlung, Planung und Kalkulation, sowie Einkauf, bis hin zur Errichtung, Objektüberwachung, Überprüfung und Instandhaltung. Da sich während dieser Erfahrungen herausstellte, dass es immer wieder zu Komplikationen und langwierigen qualitativen, sowie monetär nicht unbeachtlichen Nachteilen kommt, wenn wichtige Parteien, welche die Anlage letztendlich nutzen, betreiben und instand halten, nicht oder nur unzureichend in den Prozess der Planung mit eingebunden werden, bot sich dem Autor eine Opportunität, sich im Zuge dieser Arbeit mit besagten Nachteilen zu befassen, die zu analysieren und etwaige Konklusionen daraus zu ziehen.Since the author of this work has been professionally active, electrical plants have been the core topic of his work. During this period, he was able to follow the different processes and phases that electrical plants goes through during its useful life and gain a wide range of experience. The insights into the aforementioned processes and phases ranged from basic evaluation, planning and calculation, as well as purchasing, to construction, site supervision, inspection and maintenance. During these experiences it turned out, that complications and protracted qualitative, as well as monetary not unimportant disadvantages, occur again and again, if important parties, which use, operate and maintain the plant finally, are not, or only insufficiently involved in the process of the planning, offered itself to the author an opportunity, to concern itself in the course of this work with mentioned disadvantages, to analyse and to draw possible conclusions from it

Iron: Managing obligations in higher-order concurrent separation logic
No full textPrecise management of resources and the obligations they impose, such as the need to dispose of memory, close locks, and release file handles, is hardÐespecially in the presence of concurrency, when some resources are shared, and different threads operate on them concurrently. We present Iron, a novel higher-order concurrentseparation logic that allows for precise reasoning about resources that are transferable among dynamically allocated threads. In particular, Iron can be used to show the correctness of challenging examples, where the reclamation of memory is delegated to a forked-off thread. We show soundness of Iron by means of a model ofIron, defined on top of the Iris base logic, and we use this model to prove that memory resources are accounted for precisely and not leaked. We have formalized all of the developments in the Coq proof assistant.Programming Language
Complete Congruence Lattices of Complete Distributive Lattices
No full textAbstractIn 1983, Wille raised the question: Is every complete lattice L isomorphic to the lattice of complete congruence relations of a suitable complete lattice K? In 1988, this was answered in the affirmative by the first author. A number of papers have been published on this problem by Freese, Johnson, Lakser, Teo, and the authors. In the present paper we prove that K can always be chosen as a complete distributive lattice. In fact, we prove the following more general result: THEOREM. Let m be a regular cardinal > ℵ0. Every m-algebraic lattice L can be represented as the lattice of m-complete congruence relations of an m-complete distributive lattice K

No full textDer Autor dieser Arbeit, ist durch seine berufliche Tätigkeit, nun schon seit mehreren Jahren im Projektgeschäft mit Fokus auf Elektro- und Energietechnik in Großprojekten oder dem hochkomplexen Infrastrukturbau tätig. Im Rahmen dieser Tätigkeit, konnte der Autor umfangreiche Erfahrungen sammeln und sein Kompetenzspektrum stetig erweitern. Ein Kernthema dieser Arbeitsaufgabe ist die Planung. Die Planung eines Bauvorhabens ist das Fundament für alle folgenden Tätigkeiten und Leistungen, welche für die weitere Umsetzung des Projektes erforderlich sind. Anhand dieses Umstandes, lässt sich der hohe Stellenwert der Planung erkennen und die Erforderlichkeit einer gewissen Detailgenauigkeit und Qualität hervorheben. Da sich der internationale Planungsstandard auf Grund von einer innovativen und multidimensionalen Planungsmethode, mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit in der nahen Zukunft revolutionieren wird, bot sich dem Autor eine Opportunität, diese neuartige Methode, im Rahmen dieser Arbeit kritisch zu analysieren, Vor- und Nachteile zu erfassen und etwaige Konklusionen daraus zu ziehen.The author of this work has professionally been in the project business for several years with focus on electrical and energy engineering in large-scale projects or the highly complex infrastructure construction. In the context of this activity extensive experience was collected and its authority spectrum constantly extended. A core topic of this task is planning. The planning of a building project is the foundation for all following activities and achievements, which are necessary for the further conversion of the project. On the basis of this circumstance, the high value of the planning can be recognized and the necessity of a certain detail accuracy and quality can be emphasized. Since the international planning standard will revolutionize itself on the basis of an innovative and multidimensional planning method, with large probability in the near future, an opportunity is offered to critically analyze this new method, in the context of this work, assess advantages and disadvantages and to draw possible conclusions from it
